John was surprise by the ammout of pokeballs, but upon finding the pokeball labelled Charmander he grabbed it, bouncing it in his hand "Well, I like my choice, don't care what anybody else picked.".

Opon the door opening John got onto his feet as quickly as possible and bolted for the door, knocking Erin and anybody else in his way aside "Me first losers.".

John seemed more interested in screwing aground with his phone thabn greetng evrybody else, only briefly looking at Edward "What's a cyborg doing here ? Did Oak want a SkyNet representitive ?".

John looked surprised at her outburst "Okay I'll tone the snark down when talking to people here, and Max was a little crybaby so why should I care what you did to him ?".

John smirked "Maybe you're right, but some pokemon are better than others. And I don't care that my choice is unoriginal, I just think they look neat, unlike your fashion sense.".

John took a seat near the window and looked outside "I'm not worried, I'm gonna make the best choice possible, but personally I always liked Charmanders.".
