i've roleplayed in a lot of different spaces, and each one is really unique (except for probably tumblr) in how they keep things fresh for players involved, or how the roleplay itself is set up. spaces where characters act as if they were in an online chatroom were a fun and more laidback form...
only mildly. i would love to be as buff as captain america but he is on another level that i am simply not capable of, and i don't mean because he's a super soldier lol.
why reuse the same character if they don't develop in somesort of way to become something unexpected and new? i'd rather somebody recycle an old concept, an idea that wasn't fully fleshed out, or even a joke character and then build them in the world i have set up to grow in whatever way that...
i can't stand gaia and yet i still hop on pretty frequently and try my hand at getting those sweet pixelated outfits for my cute little character... i've definitely met some nice people there, but also some HORRIBLY nasty ones as well. it's unfortunate because that used to be one of my favorite...
i've been to a lot of platforms over the years and it's nice to see that there's still an endless amount of creativity and inventive new ways for people to express themselves/write!!!
