Play by post since 2015 and Dungeons and Dragons since 2024 are my experiences with roleplay.
I like both combat, exploration and puzzles when in roleplay. Kind of a fantasy-medieval setting more than modern ones.
Outside of roleplay, I would say I like studying languages and maybe playing a gatcha game.
I joined here because I wanted to make some roleplay by post.

Hello! I'm Maria, I'm 30 years old. I've been rping since 2012 on Tumblr, however I tried to return to Tumblr and it has changed quite a bit. I'm looking to write good stories, have fun, and avoid any petty drama. When it comes to roleplaying, I prefer to do 1x1 or small groups. I write in fandoms like Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and many more! I'm new to RPNation, so it may take time for me to fully understand this site. Outside of rping I'm a mom, a wife, and a barista at Starbucks. I like to write and watch the tv shows/movies that I obsess over! Wow, jeez. Talk about starting strong. I guess this is the real meat and potatoes of the thing, eh? I've been into rp since I was at least IDK like 7 or 8 years old? At least as old as I could get my hands on an internet platform. It'll suffice to say I am a veteran at this stuff. If anybody wants to learn about my OC's and history yall can ask me directly, and I'll probably pepper them into an rp at some point too. I'm always happy to make a new OC tailored to a specific rp as well and I'm cool with playing canon characters upon request and if it suits the narrative. In a nutshell, I am one with an open mind and a creative one. I can be as cruel or as kind as the story necessitates! Hero, villain or NPC, I'll be on it.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
Mostly anything, with some obvious exceptions. Use common sense. I'm adventure, I'm chill, I'm vibes, I'm romance, and I'm horror all in one. AMA.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
Again, mostly anything, with some exceptions. I really enjoy variety so it's hard to stay tacked to one thing. I'm not the kind of person who obsesses over one thing their whole life. I have class! I branch out. I get attention deficit, I bounce from one thing to the next. It keeps my juices flowing! I love love love video games, and drawing, and I also enjoy my job where I work. I'm also getting into software and game development now, and that means I'm learning code. I'm well rounded! And I love to experiment, and mash things around. That means crossovers are inevitable. I use anything and everything to learn more about this life and then turn it into something fun.

I also like music from many genres and sources, not a huge fan of rap, hip hop or country, but I am into vg ost, pop, metal, rock, lofi, smooth jazz, holiday hits (mostly halloween, but Christmas is hit or miss) and I also experiment with multilingual/multicultural music to see what I like. It's not really always about the words or lyrics, just how the music and the language sounds mostly. I don't care if I can understand it, as long as it sounds amazing and does the right things to my ears.

Already had an account here, so I made another one. But long story short, I first joined thru a discord rp group.

hello there !! i'm jinx , i've been roleplaying for about ... as long as i can remember ? ( ◞･౪･)
trying to get back into the swing of these now that i've made this the year of returning to my old hobbies.

ROLEPLAY WISE, i like themes that involve heavy plotting , giving plenty of opportunity for schemes and figuring out character
dynamics within the story. i'm not really one for slice of life as a result , but otherwise i'm pretty much up to explore or even mesh
together most genres. my range varies but default i tend to range around 2-3 paragraphs. since i'm an adult , i do prefer that my
roleplay partners also be 18+. been really in the mood for something crime or high fantasy lately ..

i think that's about it for now ? oh !! i'm .. also very obviously a kpop stan , who is just a little too obsessed with aesthetics.

I'm Lyra.

I wanted my username to be "Driver" based on a dream I had recently about an Uber Driver becoming an reluctant hero in a crossover setting. I like to use light mode and I'm a serial em dasher. I've been Roleplaying for waaaaay too long (Discord, Skype, Amino, VK, Tumblr— You name it, I've probably used it) though I have commitment issues with forums. . Well, I'm working on it! Fandoms and crossovers tend to be my bread and butter, but I can do some original concepts on occasion too.

I have one cat who likes to eat plastic and another cat that has never done anything wrong in her life. When I'm not Roleplaying, I dabble with fanfiction and/or writing original concepts. I also play fighting games, take long naps, and listen to long video essays while playing my Wii. I'm one of those people who have been freaking out since the announcement of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream since yesterday. I'm activist at heart with a particular interest in gender equity under an intersectional lense. I'm a full-time college student and I play Pokemon Go every day.

  • I love horror.
  • I'm severely lactose intolerant.
  • I excessively play The Sims 4.

I’ve been roleplaying since I was around 9-10 years old. I started with my sibling over Messenger apps then moved to Amino, Instagram and eventually discord! I have experience of writing heavy novella (40+k words responses each) but I prefer shorter roleplays now! novella is alright but not too long all the time, I write anything expect one liners or anything below 1 paragraph at least!

Uh, I've been roleplaying since 2021, I'm interested on Zombie Apocalypse Roleplaying, roleplays that take place on historical fields of battle (Vietnam, WW2 n shit), I also enjoy Warhammer 40,000 roleplaying.
 
Where do I begin... Yo, sup? Nice to meet ya. I do like writing, doing my best to improve my grammar and pattern when it comes to roleplaying, as well socializing into conversation. What I lack mostly are- that's none of your business.. For now, let's focus getting to know each other, 'ya? Anywho, holla if ya wanna chat, write, etc. Doesn't matter. Any favoritism? Dunno? Alright. Gaming? I pretty much game a lot to escape reality, or- never mind.

Hello, this is FinalFantasyForever, or you can just fall me FFF. I've been roleplaying for a long time, years now, I've quickly found it to be the best of pastimes. I mainly like fandom RPs, though I don't do every fandom. I really like Genshin, TES, Fallout, just naming a few those certainly are not all. I am good with short RPs but really what I have found most enjoyable is long RPs or a continuous story.
