Hey all!

I'm Bou, or Scary - either is alright. I am a geriatric roleplayer of 34-years-old (been going for around... 22 years now?) and it seems to be a lifelong interest that just will. Not. Die.

Though I have done canon roleplays in the past, I much prefer original characters in either a high fantasy or urban fantasy setting. Perhaps due to my geriatric age (I'm being facetious I swear), I enjoy darker and more mature themes, but am not above a bit of lighthearted fluff and slice of life if I want it! I enjoy detail heavy plots, collaborating with my RP partner to make something fun for both of us, and gaining lifelong friends along the way. I use roleplay as a means to practice my writing as much as improv digital Barbies with another person, and I find having someone to bounce that off of helps keep me motivated in between my personal projects. I have roleplayed on various platforms, from multiple MMOs, to Discord chat, to forums and beyond.

I have been on a bit of a hiatus - about two years or so, and am excited to be able to knock off the rust that's been accumulating and see about churning out some new brain babies and getting to collaborate with others again!

Outside of roleplay, I am a writer (as stated), a casual gamer, an artist, a book fiend, and a professional napper. I dabble in fandoms of all kinds and like to be very immersed in the things I enjoy.

hi im nina! im here looking for 25+ roleplayers to write fantasy/historical rps - i have major brainrot for my canon character because her book is not coming out any time soon so im looking for rpers to write with and interact with my character!

Oh hi! I'm Dusty or Fae, 25, She/Her, and I do a variety of RP! I've been RPing online since 2009 on various forums and some MMOs! I'm just getting back into text RP after 3 years.
My interests for RP include:

• Media (I am OC and Canon friendly!) -anime & video games namely
  • Code Geass is my main interest (Canon and OC), but I will also RP Elden Ring, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, and a good handful of anime
• DND/ High Fantasy/ Dark fantasy
  • Elves, pirates, and faeries are my main archetypes that I will RP, but I am so down for anything really
• Modern Fantasy/Historical Fantasy

I am pretty flexible with subject matter - I love long term plot with complex themes, or casual vibes too. I have missed writing and creating/collabing on stories.

Play by post since 2015 and Dungeons and Dragons since 2024 are my experiences with roleplay.
I like both combat, exploration and puzzles when in roleplay. Kind of a fantasy-medieval setting more than modern ones.
Outside of roleplay, I would say I like studying languages and maybe playing a gatcha game.
I joined here because I wanted to make some roleplay by post.

Hello! I'm Maria, I'm 30 years old. I've been rping since 2012 on Tumblr, however I tried to return to Tumblr and it has changed quite a bit. I'm looking to write good stories, have fun, and avoid any petty drama. When it comes to roleplaying, I prefer to do 1x1 or small groups. Wow, jeez. Talk about starting strong. I guess this is the real meat and potatoes of the thing, eh? I've been into rp since I was at least IDK like 7 or 8 years old? At least as old as I could get my hands on an internet platform. It'll suffice to say I am a veteran at this stuff. If anybody wants to learn about my OC's and history yall can ask me directly, and I'll probably pepper them into an rp at some point too. I'm always happy to make a new OC tailored to a specific rp as well and I'm cool with playing canon characters upon request and if it suits the narrative. In a nutshell, I am one with an open mind and a creative one. I can be as cruel or as kind as the story necessitates! Hero, villain or NPC, I'll be on it.

Mostly anything, with some obvious exceptions. Use common sense. I'm adventure, I'm chill, I'm vibes, I'm romance, and I'm horror all in one. AMA.

• What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.

Again, mostly anything, with some exceptions. I really enjoy variety so it's hard to stay tacked to one thing. I'm not the kind of person who obsesses over one thing their whole life. I have class! I branch out. I get attention deficit, I bounce from one thing to the next. It keeps my juices flowing! I love love love video games, and drawing, and I also enjoy my job where I work. I'm also getting into software and game development now, and that means I'm learning code. I'm well rounded! And I love to experiment, and mash things around. That means crossovers are inevitable. I use anything and everything to learn more about this life and then turn it into something fun.

I also like music from many genres and sources, not a huge fan of rap, hip hop or country, but I am into vg ost, pop, metal, rock, lofi, smooth jazz, holiday hits (mostly halloween, but Christmas is hit or miss) and I also experiment with multilingual/multicultural music to see what I like. It's not really always about the words or lyrics, just how the music and the language sounds mostly. I don't care if I can understand it, as long as it sounds amazing and does the right things to my ears.

Already had an account here, so I made another one. But long story short, I first joined thru a discord rp group.
