Introduce Yourself!

Hi! I'm new here but not new to roleplaying. I've been roleplaying for the better part of the last 15 years. I really enjoy a wide-range of roleplays from mystical to slice of life and everything in between. Romance is the primary genre but I'm really wanting to explore thriller/mystery/high profile crime stories.

I look forward to all of the new stories we will write!

i'd been roleplaying since i was at least 8 or 9, when kongregate had dedicated chat rooms for that purpose and games were still being made with flash (r.i.p)

i was known as "the mysterious 8-ball" on freeyourselfroleplaying (r.i.p), which i had been on for around 5 or so years before i lost the time for it
i'm really big on music production and computers, especially older equipment and retro computers, and i love to cook and learn new things
i always did much better at "realistic" 1x1 romance roleplays, and even then i probably wasn't all that great at making characters that actually made any real sense or weren't entirely toxic lmao but i've grown up a lot (gonna be 25 in april) and learned to pay a little more attention to how an actual story works
i haven't done any consistent roleplaying for around 5-6 years, so i might be a bit rusty but i'm hoping that my character ideas will be a little less cringe and we can do some awesome things together

  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

You can call me Dell. I've been roleplaying, in and out of pen-and-paper settings, for over twenty years now - so you can hazard a guess as to my age.

I've done a wide array of settings and ideas along the way. Prefer original settings or shared-settings rather than fanwork. I could do something in the setting, but please don't ask me to write canon characters. I just don't feel comfortable doing it.

GMT-6, probably only active in the evenings and weekends.

I do prefer to get to know people before beginning - and I am perhaps a bit obsessive about planning. I get easily distracted worldbuilding.

I'm a looongtime roleplayer, having like 10+ years under my belt. I go by she/her pronouns and am currently 26 yrs old. It's been a minute since I've roleplayed, probably since the fall of Quotev, and I'm looking to start back up!
I tend to keep towards animes (like Haikyuu, JJK, Mashle, etc.) , games (like BG3 and Fire Emblem) and certain tv shows, but I'm not against having a totally original plot with our own characters.
Hope we can get along :)

Hi, My name is Neeko but Online I go by Dark and or Darky I am a Trans bisexual man yes I have a partner but anyway I've been roleplaying for a long while and can't come up with exactly how long but I know it's been since I got access to the internet I am 16 years old but I am turning 17 this march 12th also Darky is my main character he is a half-demon half-snake character his name can even be Kurai which is the Japanese name for Dark anyway I hope we can be friends
