hi. i'm valentine / wallace (i go by both names, or either one, whichever you like better.) i've been roleplaying for about a decade - though i'm a bit rusty as i haven't engaged much in the past four-ish years, though i do still write solo - and i generally tend toward roleplaying as canon characters from media i like. i like one-sided romance (or "one-sided" that isn't really one-sided), settings that allow for relationships between characters to change (for better or worse), and stuff that gives me a chance to kind of get into the minds of the characters i play :) i decided to join rpnation because honestly, i don't feel comfortable trying to reach out for roleplaying partners on social media sites. i also missed forum sites a lot. i think i prefer forum roleplays because there's some more cohesive archival going on than on discord or twitter dms or whatever. i have three cats and i'm annoying about them. i'm in my final semester of undergrad so my writing hours might be a bit wonky.

Howdy all! Names Ranger, and I’ve been roleplaying off and on for nearly 15 years now! I enjoy all sorts of topics from fantasy, animals, real life, fan fiction, and many more. If there is an idea you want to work out then by all means I am game. My favorite topics to play out are fantasy, mainly in older settings. I absolutely love D&D so anything with a setting like that is a plus!

When I’m not roleplaying I can be found playing video games, or working. Aside from that there’s not much going on! I work a lot in the evening and night be it my career or working with the local cat rescues.

I don't get a grasp on the controls but I'll earn eventually. Hai! Name is Fluffers, I love anything fluffy (And a buttload of angst!). Been roleplaying for maybe years? I can't exactly tell, but I have my fair share of different roleplay experiences, don't worry I'm an adult! Tho busy in college life. Interests would include resident evil, Undertale, welcome home, my little pony and etc. (Really I can't list all my interests here-) I am a semi-litterate or a litterate rper though my grammar can be a bit iffy since english isn't my first language so please be patient with me! And that's all, thanks!
I also love to rp my ocs in specific fandoms!

Hello, my name Ash, and I completely forgotten about this account. Lol. In a way I'm both old and starting fresh here, I'm currently 28 going 29 soon. I'd been roleplaying since I was young like during my teen years, and then it snowballed through my highschool years and kind of flourish from there on. My interest are video games, animated shows/movies, plants, crocheting, and huge foodie fan. Lately, I am getting into D&D again, so I'm hoping to get my sea legs all sorted out once I start playing again.

hello, im nami! I'm not quite new to this site but I haven't had an account on it for around three years, nor did I roleplay while I had an account. I'm trying this again, because the last time I tried on here I didn't really get any replies so hoping I'm luckier this time!

I've been role-playing since I was thirteen, I'm now sixteen so I have three years of experience, several more years if you count the many stories I wrote when I was younger. I started actually role-playing on watt pad and while I still have an active account on there, its obviously much better for reading. funny story my first roleplay, I got roped into doing furry smvt so it kinda scarred me and I always put my foot down if I don't like something.

I mostly do romance drama roleplays but I'm always up for a good horror or thriller (with maybe a little bit of romance?) anyways I hope we can create some lasting roleplays !

Well, hello there! My name is Azalea. I've been roleplaying since I was fifteen, so about three years now, but only recently began to seek out longer roleplays. I have always written with the same group of friends - played some dnd, and since we were so casual it was only ever a few sentences. I outgrew the simplicity and now wish to venture into multi-paragraph roleplay!My roleplay interests would include modern fantasy, historical, cyberpunk (although I haven't yet roleplayed with this genre and don't know a lot about it), romance (I can't enjoy a roleplay without it, although I don't like forcing it), post-apocalyptic roleplays (usually with a twist, not just your bog-standard zombie trope) and action/adventure type roleplays. Not so much a fan of slice of life or strong horror - I'm simply not good at writing things with suspense or gory detail. I typically only write females or feminine characters, and I enjoy writing more than one main character.
 
Hi everyone!

Been roleplaying for, like… ten, eleven years now? Like many of us I started in the cringiest dregs of roleplay, but also cringe is dead and as long as folks are having fun, I’m good. That’s what this hobby is about :)

There’s quite a bit of genres/interests I have— I feel like it’d generally be easier to list what I DON’T enjoy? But for brevity’s sake, and to make this a little more personable, I’m not terribly original. I enjoy sci fi, political intrigue, coming of age, romance, high and low fantasy, crime thrillers, etc.— very few, if not no genres are off limits to me. I sincerely believe that with compelling enough characters and plot, quite literally anything can be interesting (yes, even SoL genres, although an immense effort has to be made). Same can be said of tropes, also favorites of mine are any variety of x-to-lovers, slow burns, and found family in no particular order.

I enjoy both original plots and “fandom” ones, and as previously aforementioned it’d genuinely be easier to tell you what I wouldn’t be interested in roleplaying. Just to make some off the top of my head, they are including, but not limited to:

-Yakuza
-Arcane
-God of War
-Red Dead Redemption
-TLOU (both the game and the show, although I slightly prefer the former).
-Lupin the III
-Sex Education
-Anything Tolkien
-Literally anything Spider-Man, from the MCU, to movies, to shows, to comics.
-Obligatory MCU mention
-Aaaand more!

Hopefully that piqued someone’s interests! I want to keep this from being lengthy, I might update later on with some more pertinent details. In the mean time, though, I think this makes for a suitable introduction. Looking forward to participating in this kind (and intimidatingly large) community!

And, of course, looking forward to roleplaying too, lol.

I really enjoy roleplaying, but I haven't done it in quite a while, it's been a long time. I'd like to get back into it, though! I like video games and anime, in particular, series like Bocchi the Rock, Nichijou, Demon Slayer, I was really into My Hero Academia a while ago but not so much anymore to be honest. For games, I like Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Persona, and Xenoblade. I love fighting games, especially Guilty Gear.

As for roleplaying, I enjoy romance and slice of life scenarios just as much as I like plot heavy and serious stuff, though I admit that I'm not entirely the greatest at writing action scenes. Totally fine with ocs as well, whether you wish to play an oc with a canon character, or both ocs, or etc, I'm fine with that. Roleplays don't even need to be fandom specific ones of course. Though I do typically prefer them, I'm by no means opposed to fully original creations.

Hello I hope I am doing this right, I am Buff, 26 and tired and am still learning the site. Ive been loving RP ever since i was in HS although I havent RP'd with many people. Im curious to meet other people that enjoy RPing like me, what they prefer, etc. etc.

I'm Aidan, and I haven't roleplayed a day in my life. Started writing a lot more lately, and was like.. imagine having someone else to play off of. Now I'm here.
 
greetings to all from a former feralfront roleplayer! once they closed down, of course i soon found myself on xanje. i soon expanded to countless warrior cats sites such as chasing the sun, hole in the sky, and deep in the meadow to name a few. warrior cats became real life, on such sites as nostalgia. i have donned many names in the past, such as queenie, coldsummer, witch [currently used on xanje], lights, maybelline, and even fern.

aquarianskies seems to have found me this time around, although you all are more than welcome to shorten it to aqua — in fact, i would much prefer it.

there isn't much to be known about me — my thirties are fast approaching and sending me on a downward spiral, though reading, writing, singing, and pouring myself into work are much of my favorite pastimes. majority of the characters i have roleplayed are female, excluding the handful of male characters i spat out for a group roleplay and longstanding (5+ years) roleplay i happen to be a part of on xanje. i am informal on ooc and never use capitals merely because i love the aesthetic, nothing more. hm... i have been part of various roleplaying communities, as mentioned above, since i was thirteen years old, and most (if not all) characters i have created hold very special places in my heart — bless, for i have many of their original bios on a flashdrive.

when it comes to writing, the triggers are nonexistent. all former characters i've had are trauma babies and, for the life of me, making their backgrounds full of angst and betrayal seems to be ingrained in me.

all in all, there's so many characters and stories within me that i cannot wait to share here on rpnation, and i hope to roleplay with you all real soon ♥
