Hello! I haven't exactly had a consistent online name, but Hero should work for this.
I joined up because I saw a friend doing RP here and it looks like a step up from the cringey stuff I did when I was 13. I was interested and decided to join them here.
I have some experience with roleplay, but nothing super extensive. Did a decent amount of DnD recently, so the dice rps should be familiar at least.
My favorite fandoms are stuff like Zelda (duh), AtLA, LotR, and a decent number of anime.
Beyond that, I'm a history buff. I'm also interested in alternate history. I'm not sure if there are rps here that are historical themed, but I'd be interested to see them.
I'm also a little shy, so posting here is slightly terrifying!

Hi, hola, hello. I've Rp'ed on and off for a few years, mostly "off" for the last few. Got back into pen-and-paper RPs last year, and now have been looking at online RP. But I don't really know where to start. I tend to RP medieval fantasy, but am interested also in urban fantasy, and have GMed science fiction and disaster scenarios. I tend to be very practical-minded, so I like everything to have some sort of justification and to make sense. Apparently this can be annoying at times for more accepting souls. I am a board gamer and fairly creative, and when given a choice between Rping "serious" or "silly" my default setting is "silly".

Hieee mg name is Julie. I’ve been doing this for wayyyy too long and started wayyy too young when I was like 9 years old. Now that I’m 17, I would like to roleplay with people around my age range. I just yearn so badly for a roleplay with genuine, gut-wrenching and in-depth interactions that I just can’t find in fanfics. I love the human connection part of it, especially when it’s such a serious scene and I chime in with a silly little note. As far as setting goes, I honestly don’t care, as long as it’s interesting. Outside of RP I love to just get in the car and drive, the longest road trip I’ve driven was about 10 hours up North, so much fun! I like art, gaming, making pinterest boards, talking, yada yada. Huggeeee cat person but dogs are alright. Anyway, thanks for reading! Byeee :3

Like I said, I’m open to pretty much anything! A lot of the media I like is action based. My favorite movie trilogy is the Kingsman if that gives you any idea lol.

Hello! I haven't roleplayed in a couple of years, but became curious again and wanted to get back into it. Writing is a great outlet for me and I used to love roleplaying when I did it, so here's to trying to get back into it. I'm excited!
 
Hi! I used to rp a ton a few years back but all the people I did it with just kinda grew out of it so I kinda stopped four like 3 years. It used to be such a blast and was a great creative outlet for me, it helped me with writing so much. I got the urge to try it again and found my way here, a bit nervous but I'll never get back into it if I don't try-

I dunno if "I like crime" is the right thing to say... (!) I have developed, as GM, crime-based plots. As often happens in RP campaigns, though, the group had endless fun with the fist few clues and events, but never solved the actual crime as Real Life caused the group to break up after about 2-3 months. With pen-and-paper-and-dice roleplays, I have tended to use "anything BUT DnD" so, I am only now actually learning DnD 5e.

Hello everyone! I’m Stef! Lovely to meet new folks. That aside, lets go through the “checklist”.

  • I’ve been roleplaying on and off for the last 13 years, where I started with Gaiaonline when I was but a wee “babeh”. Since then I’ve been primarily roleplaying in TTRPGs like DnD (4 and 5) and recently LANCER. The longest RP I was a part of was a (mostly) fleshed out Log Horizon RP which was interesting BUT like any RP based off of a show, it sadly became deserted when the show wasn’t renewed promptly enough.
  • I am interested the supernatural, fantasy and sci-fi. Something other than “slice of life”, because I find the idea of rp’ing in a world where outrageously wonderful things like magic, aliens, monsters and etc to be not only more fun, but the main reason I roleplay.
  • I’m a trained chef, love mmo’s, horror movies, studying mythology, spending hours crafting characters, helping my friends with their art projects via photoshop and am currently trying to write a children’s/YA’s adventure novel where hopefully I’ll be able to them write “horror stories for kids” in the vein of “scary stories to tell in the dark”.
  • I was looking to RP on a forum due to feelings of nostalgia and not needing to worry about things like scheduling, someone’s internet speed, or praying I roll high/low enough.
  • I typically have a few “home rules” when it comes to my roleplay, such as discussing things involving my character (and would ask the other player(s) involved as well) when it comes to things like romance, fighting or other BIG plot points, so we can agree on a course of action and/or hash things out.
  • Communication is Key!

Hi, I'm Lynx, I'm 23 and I've been roleplaying since... I dunno, probably since I was like 7-9 years old, I started on old chatrooms lol. I really like writing for DC Comics and I absolutely adore writing more niche chatacters such as Gregor Markov, Danny Chase, Athanasia Al Ghul, etc.
