If you need some ideas on what to include in your introduction to the community, you can mention:
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

Hello. My alias on this site is J.T.
I've been roleplaying for almost three years, and it's easily one of my favorite hobbies. I invest a lot of effort into this hobby, including research, characters, and plots. I prioritize proper grammar, but minor mistakes are acceptable. I'm a minor (17 years old), therefore this information will be important to potential roleplay partners.

Genres I like: post-apocalyptic sci-fi, college and workplace, high school AU, Down to earth, modern, adventure, crime (just a little)
Genres I'm not very fond of : slice of life, military AU, space sci-fi, historical, realistic RP/ real-life
Types of rp I do: semi-literate, semi-para (once in a while), literate

Pathfinder 2e is my primary. I have sworn off dnd5e as I find it frustrating but Ive also played a bit of l5r and some pbta systems

pbta systems? Isnt that the one where its at the end of the world and must keep fighting the same bad guys over and over?

Potentially? I admit Id never actually played the game they all come from, but pbta just means any games that work off of Apocalypse World's d6 system. So that includes things like monster of the week, dungeon world, blades in the dark, etc.
I've played the Root rpg and read the rules for some others to (unsuccessfully) try and run one

Welcome. Most people here often play from games, books, and anime. I like Yuri romance gang warfare myself. That kind of makes me an out cast, good luck and have fun!
 
Hello! I haven't exactly had a consistent online name, but Hero should work for this.
I joined up because I saw a friend doing RP here and it looks like a step up from the cringey stuff I did when I was 13. I was interested and decided to join them here.
I have some experience with roleplay, but nothing super extensive. Did a decent amount of DnD recently, so the dice rps should be familiar at least.
My favorite fandoms are stuff like Zelda (duh), AtLA, LotR, and a decent number of anime.
Beyond that, I'm a history buff. I'm also interested in alternate history. I'm not sure if there are rps here that are historical themed, but I'd be interested to see them.
I'm also a little shy, so posting here is slightly terrifying!
 
So yeah I'm new here. Just registered yesterday in fact. But yeah like my name suggests I'm a fan of cartoons and the like. As such I enjoy roleplaying cartoon characters from my favorite shows. I have my own characters as well. But after rewatching Regular Show I'm in the mood to role-play as my personal favorite character from it, Rigby. I'm not just a fan of cartoons, but of crossovers. That said I think it would be a lot of fun to see how Rigby interacts with other characters. But yeah that's who I'm personally in the mood to play right now. I did search the net for active crossover role-plays, but sadly I could not find a single one. So after seeing this place I decided to try my luck here.
