Yeah, Luckily no one was in the car when it happened but it was right under my bedroom window where I was and the window was open to so some smoke got in. I have my character Melina around the outskirts of the city in hope to find a pharmacy or hospital to get some medical supplies so you can have your character meet up with her if you'd like :3))

The sounds of low snarling, a hungering growl, emanated from the inner entrance of an abandoned community's local hospital walls. The tile flooring scratched, and the paint from the walls now chipped and faded. Scattered along the floor lie abandoned medical equipment, bloodstained and damaged.


A rotting figure was forced against the wall, sheath of a covered blade shoved into the cavity of the creature's mouth, and a male stood stoically in front clutching the hilt of the weapon lossely with his right hand. In his left, a large metal briefcase labeled in large red letters labeled as First Aid and a cross above it in the same lettering. The creature's arms hungrily reached forward, attempting to grab at the male's living flesh. To this, the male would let out an amused sigh and force the sheath of the blade deeper into the throat of the beast, until finally the leather erupted out the other end of the skull. The stench of rotted flesh filled the small room, causing Raymond to crinkle his nose and quickly pull the weapon away. "Another one down. Too bad you aren't capable of possessing a conscience, I woud have warned you of approaching me beforehand.." With that, he stepped out of the building, and proceeded to take a seat on the steps leading into the abandoned streets. Raymond took another look at the city again, clear skies and buildings lightless. The scene never got old, and never changed anymore. He didn't enjoy the seclusion that he forced hinself into, but no one delved into this area of the town anymore. The hospital had been a major area of death moments before the apocalypse became common knowledge, leaving its current state to be one of the most dangerous areas to be living in.

Walking down the city streets alone, a shiver went up the girls spine hearing the groans and hisses of the undead, no, she would never get used to this no matter how long she was dealing with it for. She meekly grabbed her rucksack that was more less empty, taking her knife and gun out if it. She knew she would be needing them soon enough. Normally she wouldn't be on her own out here, she'd have Jason or someone else from the small church group, but everyone was either busy or they weren't around at all so, she was feeling particularly on edge. It wasn't like she wasn't on her own before, she had just accustomed herself to having company again. She knew she was inexperienced and small when it came to fighting these gross creatures but the group needed medical supplies. She was their doctor ((or closest thing to one they had)) so it was her duty to keep people safe on that end of things. Approaching the building, Melina spotted a figure on the steps, one that wasn't rotten. With a gasp she made her way behind a wall, trying not to be seen in case he wasn't friendly. Mindless zombie? Yeah, sure. She could try her hardest and maybe get it. Large angry man? She might as well be dead already.

Hearing her name being called out from the other end of the church, Laika's eyes fluttered open. She had been relaxing on a pew and hadn't realised she had dozed off some. Standing up with a yawn and a quick stretch, her leaned over and dusted herself off a little "Yeah?!" She called to the voice at the far side of the building. Now fully awake she walked in the direction the voice was coming from as well, stopping when she saw Mira and Avery at the door. "Hey you two!" She said looking over at Avery briefly, not glaring but not exactly smiling either, maybe he wasn't so bad...after all, Mira was off with him and came back okay. She then smiled softly at Mira "How are you feeling?" She asked.

Hearing her name being called out from the other end of the church, Laika's eyes fluttered open. She had been relaxing on a pew and hadn't realised she had dozed off some. Standing up with a yawn and a quick stretch, her leaned over and dusted herself off a little "Yeah?!" She called to the voice at the far side of the building. She meekly grabbed her rucksack that was more less empty, taking her knife and gun out if it. She knew she would be needing them soon enough. Normally she wouldn't be on her own out here, she'd have Jason or someone else from the small church group, but everyone was either busy or they weren't around at all so, she was feeling particularly on edge. It wasn't like she wasn't on her own before, she had just accustomed herself to having company again. She knew she was inexperienced and small when it came to fighting these gross creatures but the group needed medical supplies. She was their doctor ((or closest thing to one they had)) so it was her duty to keep people safe on that end of things. Approaching the building, Melina spotted a figure on the steps, one that wasn't rotten. With a gasp she made her way behind a wall, trying not to be seen in case he wasn't friendly. Mindless zombie? Yeah, sure. She could try her hardest and maybe get it. Large angry man? She might as well be dead already.

Raymond's eyes drifted away from the scenery in front of him, the shadows dancing in front of him led him to be suspicious of movement on the streets. His eyes darted in the girl's general direction, but missed her figure creep against the wall and instead grasped a gaze at barren street. An amused smile on his face, he thought about playing dull and hopefully catching her attention further. If anything, gathering information about a settlement may be beneficial.


Ray shifted his figure into a lying position, legs stretched onto the bottom of the steps while his head was cocked back facing the sky in a relaxed form. The fading sunlight creating distinct shadows across his facial features, and outlining the jutting form of his twin blades at his hips. While a hand lie ready to draw if need be, the other was behind his head, a light cushion between his fragile skull and hardened concrete steps beneath him.

Raymond's eye closest to her winked open, revealing an amber yellow tint to it, and qickly shut before she caught sight of any movement from him. Of course, it was just a quick peek, but one can never be too careful with the people in their current situation. He shifted slightly, purposely knocking over the case beside him to reveal the lettering in her direction. As the plastic covering fell against the steps, the lock keeping the package shut came undone to reveal the contents inside. Rolls of bandage, gauze, rubbing alcohol, medical supplies of all sorts filled to the brim. It was no wonder the lock came undone with such simple movement. His intent? Get her closer, arms distance at least.
