Fantasy Zephyr (Accepting)

Charles would nod, "Ready.", he'd answer as he began walking off towards the Castle. The merry-man gazed back at Yamina, eyeing her rather strangely. He found the girl quite confident during her first enrollment within the guard.

Charles smiled, then looked forwards, beginning to suck on the lollipop he had pulled out, one that was around the size of his head, and was colored with swirls of blue and pink.

Ayah, however, was quick to move. She looked back at the Prince with a blank expression, then suddenly stuck her tongue out at him. The girl turned, and began running quickly, jumping from crates, to a large caravan, and flipping unto a building (all while showing off that lovely battle-skirt.)

"Catch me if you can...", she'd call back, leaping across the rooftops towards their destination. She didn't even know why she was doing it, it just seemed like the right thing to do at the moment.

(Will PM my... secretu session w/ you, Stoked911)

Kyro narrowed his eye for a moment as if he was angered by her response but then threw his head back and gave a whole-hearted laugh, if he ever knew what a heart was. "My, my you are quite the damsel," he commented. He leaned against the wall and said, "I guess you saw through me." He smiled. "Why such hesitation when I express gratitude for your beauty?" he asked as his head looked over to see a jar falling over a shelf. With a quick flick of his wrist he grabbed the jar from the air before he could fall. The jar flew into his hand. "I believe this is yours," Kyro said as he stretched out the jar he caught.

Cordelia smirked, "I work with people all day..ones trying to rob me and and try to fool me. So I sadly must say that when someone like you comes along speaking the way you do I cant help but be a little troubled by it. When you work for a shop in the forest you kind of need to be wary of who comes around." She watched as the jar fell, but it seemed he managed to catch it when it came to him. "Thank you..I didnt need to add rosemary to my list.." She took the jar and placed it gently right side up.

Before the prince could make a move Ayah had stuck out her tongue out and began running from him. Wha-What was that? Then she began to leap quite agilely from crates to another surface, surprising him slightly. "Catch me if you can..." She taunted, leaving Zelin's vision. He was easily teased, agitation apparent on his face. "She didn't just-" Agitation transformed into entertainment as a huge grin formed on his face. "Fine then, let me show you my skill!"

Zelin ran after her in full sprint, unable to par-core like Ayah, he was forced to chase her on the ground. Luckily he had a talent in running, he took note to thank William for that later.

Ayah made her way gracefully across the rooftops, flipping and leaping. She looked below to see Zelin tailing her, which made her smile. Ayah would continue to par-core across the buildings, using her axe as a way to launch herself as well.

They were getting closer and closer to the training grounds.

"Loser does whatever the Winner says!", Ayah would call out, an interesting dilemma, as she didn't really know how she would win, then again they were making their way to the training grounds... If she were to win, what would she do? Ayah thought about it as she made her way closer and closer to t-

FWOOP.

Ayah tripped on a small wooden box, swirling through the air, only to skid on her bottom when she made it to the other rooftop. This certainly slowed Ayah down, and gave a chance for Zelin to climb up fast enough to get her.

It took all that he had to keep pace with Ayah, she was quick on her feet and seemed to know the layout, despite Zelin living here all his life. "Loser does whatever the winner says!" She proclaimed out of sight, this was troubling he doesn't like to lose. Zelin put even more oomph in his step and sprinted like no tomorrow. Pushing past crates, guards, servants and hopping bushes. She sounds so much closer, but he simply can't los- FWOOP.

He heard Ayah trip or something, even watched her fly laughably through the air. For a moment he thought of this as his chance to pull ahead, but then he stopped himself. She could be hurt. "...*Sigh*..." He was honestly worried, though it annoyed him. Zelin stopped next to the building Ayah landed on and began climbing it. "Hey...you okay up there?" He called before reaching the top, it a took a bit of effort but he finally placed a hand on the roof. Slowly she came into vision as he lifted himself, rather shakily, onto the rooftop.

Ayah had gotten up, and was on all floors, awkwardly dusting her bottom off as Zelin got up, a light blush on her face. "Yeah, yeah...", she'd say, then looking over to the left. I can't believe that just happened...

Ayah began running again. "Resume!", she yelled back. Ayah wondered if Zelin would follow her on the rooftops, or get down and run on the ground, she hoped the first option.

She didn't want to ruin what they had already started.

"Gah! H-hey!" Zelin let out trying to catch up to her, he reached the end of the building and stopped just before the jump. He took a glance down, if he messed up it'd hurt. He looked back up to Ayah, beginning to make a head-start again. Great. He backed up a few steps and sprinted across the rooftop jumping onto the next one with a roll. "I won't lose to *cough* you!" He yelled, sprinting again to catch up.

Ayah was so close.. but Zelin was a faster runner, she was just rather agile. He was getting closer, and was a little behind arm's length. She had to win, she had too!

Ayah pushed herself to run faster, but couldn't find the strength to do it, knowing that the prince was getting closer. She had slowed down due to the sudden pain within her legs, and turned suddenly to catch the Prince. "Looks like you win..."

"Smart girl, smart girl. I understand what you mean. I apologize if I disturbed your presence. It is that I hardly meet nice people on my travels, so ones who are kind I would like to show my appreciation and gratitude for their generosity," Kyro explained as he watched her grab the jar from his hand. He pushed himself from the wall he was leaning on and walked over to the other side of the store looking through all the merchandise. "So tell me, what are your most expensive products you hold?" Kyro asked. His eye wandered over all the items trying to think if anything is of worth to him or the guild.

Yamina walked out of Charles room her hair a little messed up but didn't notice it. She looked at Charles and smiles taking her hand in his. "Shall we go check on the prince and his training?" She asked

@Stoked911

Charles had just finished putting his clothes on, and wiped his face off with a cloth. He looked back at Yamina, "Sure thing, I just hope he's taking it seriously.", he'd call out as he adjusted his belt perfectly. Charles smiled at Yamina as he looked up at her hair, "It's messed up a little, you know. Wouldn't want anyone questioning it.", he'd say with a devious smile.

Charles had recovered rather quickly, and was fast when it came to returning to normal, mostly due to his excessive usage of magic when it came to his hair. What fine hair. So fabulous.

"You and your damn magic" she said as she quickly put her hair back into the perfect braid it was in before. She had powers but she just didn't like to use them. She thought it was taking the easy way out of fighting. After she finished her hair she made sure the captain himself was in tip top shape. "Alright we look presentable so let's go"

Cordelia watched around her store, "Well ill take your sincerity as a good thing.." She followed him, her heels really the only things making a little noise in the quiet store other than the birds and natural forest sounds that would travel in from the window. "Well we have enchanted tree root..that runs pretty high. We also have some runes hidden somewhere, but id have to look for those if your interested. And I know Is aid this before but you sure theres nothing certain you've been looking for? We have a bit everything here" She leaned against the counter as she watched him browse, taking in the fact that he had to be one of the youngest and most poised customers shes ever had since taking on the store.

Zelin caught up to Ayah, huffing rather noticeably. He bent over slightly and placed his hands onto his knees, trying to catch his breath. "H-how'd I win?" He asked, a bit confused. But after a moment he shook his head, accepting the victory. He back upright and placed his arms on his sides. "So...since I win...this is a perfect chance for me." He said smiling.

Charles smiled and made his way down the large swirl of stairs, and out into the open world. With a stretch, he looked around, then back at Yamina. "Do you think they're at the training grounds still?", Charles would ask with a curious tone.

Ayah smiled, then looked at Zelin. "Well, I would've eventually slowed down, and you're one hell of a runner...", she said with a sigh, wiping the sweat from her forehead.

"So, you've won, do your worst."

Yamina smiled and started walking next to Charles she had her hands behind her back. "I think they are...he's going to need all the training he's gonna get...because tomorrow will be a vigorous training for all the soldiers." She told Charles and continued looking straight, after their little guard private time she's still a little embarrassed to look at him. "I would like to ask you a question Captain..." She said and stopped walking then looked at him.

Kyro's eye lifted his eye up to the young lady. "Well...there was a certain item I am seeking..." he paused. He placed a hand on his chin and rubbed it, thinking whether or not he should request such an item. "I was in search of a book of sorts. It contains many spells and ancient writing. Now I know it may seem odd for a young man like me asking for such an aged book, but the reason being is that it happened to be a book that my grandfather is seeking. He has much knowledge of the ancient writing in the book. Throughout his life he has been seeking this book. For what reason? I don't know myself," Kyro lied. Never had he known his grandfather, but he was in search of a particular book. "Now it's fine if you do not have this book I am describing, but those runes do interest me," Kyro said.

Cordelia thought hard for a moment, "Well all of our books are kept in the back, as well as the runes..if you dont mind waiting a couple moments I could take a look for you" She slipped on a pair of black gloves that were sitting at the table next to her. She glanced up at him before heading into the back, "I need to be careful when handling the rare things" She lifted a curtain and started looking through the piles of books that her grandparents had left. Looking from book to book and checking boxes for the runes, "So..I didnt catch your name..could I have the pleasure of knowing it?" She grunted as she set down a particularly heavy box, shifting through its belongings for the runes.

Charles raised a brow at Yamina, "Go ahead and ask me the question...", he'd say with a small smile, chewing on a taffy he had pulled out after they had left his room. Charles was rather curious to what this woman would have to ask.

She was embarrassed, Charles could tell, and he found it rather cute.

Kyro lifted the corners of his mouth into a smile. "My name. Well...you might find it ridiculous. My parents thought it would have a cool tone to it for me. But I find it rather embarrassing really more than anything else," he paused, "And since it is by a damsel's request. I must answer it. My parents named me...Zero. It is rather an odd name for me, but it is not like I can change it willfully. That will just cause chaos for my identity. Now excuse me for blabbering on about my name. It is impolite for me not to ask for yours." He cleared his throat and then turned towards her and asked, "What happens to be your name? I bet it is lovely to match your personality." A sparkle glinted in his eyes as he walked up towards the counter at which he could watch her from the closest. His eyes watched her as she dug through the box.

Cordelia listened as he spoke, "Zero huh? Well..pleasure to meet you." She lifted more books out and sneezed as dust flew in her face. "Uhg..And if you wish to know, its Cordelia.." She kind of smirked at the words he used and how much flattery was in them. She couldnt tell what he was trying to do..her grandmother always told her that if a guy talked in such a way to her it was usually because they wanted something. So she couldnt help but feel wary towards the guy. Was Zero even his real name? She found an old box that had some old writing on it that she kind of recognized but not by much. When she opened it she smiled, "Aha!" She found the runes and a long side it a small book with matching words.

There he goes again with the candy, she swear he was going to get cavities if he continued to eat candy. "What made you like me?" She asked him then took the taffy out of his hand and kept in hers. "Continue eating all this candy and your teeth will rot sir..." She tells him and takes a bit out of the taffy herself but doesn't give it back to him.

Kyro played with the syllables of her name on his tongue, "Cor-de-li-a? Mmm Cordelia. That is quite a unique name. And at least it has a nice ring to it, besides mine." His eye was narrowing as she dug deeper into the contents of the box. His attention shifted between the box and the items already out sitting beside Cordelia. Little objects were in the box; frog legs, wand sticks, eyeballs, and other grotesque objects.

His attention snapped up when he heard Cordelia say,
"Aha!" A small book appeared in her hands. One of Kyro's eyebrows lifted. That is the Book of Demenation? The master better have a brilliant reason for wanting such a tiny book for me to handle. Kyro placed his hands together and said, "Oh good! You found it! My grandfather will be ever so proud! But it is a wee thing isn't it? What a fool he was. There doesn't seem like you can do much with that book. But nonetheless, I shall purchase it." Kyro placed one of his hands down to his hip searching for his pouch of coins. "Mmmm...I have it here somewhere. Do please tell me what is the cost of the runes together with the book?" Kyro asked, continuing to search for the pouch as he shifted back his cape.

Zelin began scratching his head in thought. In truth, he had the power to make Ayah do what he wants in the first place. Privileges of a prince...geh, Zelin always had a problem with that. The thought made him grimace. "...How about find a shop with some runes in it for me? I meant to get them for myself but William doesn't let me leave the castle..." He turned the grimace into a slight grin, sending her on a shopping errand seems best.
