Fantasy Worlds Apart Together

Rune tried to sleep but even though he was laying in bed he felt uncomfortable. He got up and looked out his window. He felt more uncomfortable as time passed. "Maybe I should take a walk outside?" He said to himself. He went out his door, not knowing how his life would change soon

Somewhere in his empty home a voice echoed "Era..."

(CRANKING IT UP!)

Rune walked around town feeling discomfort grow. He frowned as he saw that it wasn't only him that was uncomfortable. "What's going on?:

"Hmph.... The least you could do is not insult my abilities."

Saren closed his eyes and smirked as traces of light began leaking from the void energies surrounding his sphere. In streams not unlike those he called upon before, he extracted every hint of light from his concealed mass as it swirled around him, eventually dispersing. With this, he slowly lowered himself to ground level and, once he touched down, blended into the town.

Ezra's void energies clung to the light, and eventually would find Saren, they would mingle with the light energies like a nearly untraceable odor, but it told Ezra all he needed to know, he could track Saren, in this world, or the next, he had no idea who he was tracking, or why, just that the figure with his energies dripping off of him would be the one that had sent out the ball of light. How Ezra would deal with meeting the person would vary one way or another, but then again, Vasilias was a similar victim to the touch of the void, he would be partially connected to the dark energies forever just from the momentary brush with them, for that was how Ezra's power worked, all that had to happen was a simple brush, a scrape from them, the lightest touch, and the void itself could to to someone what it had done to Ezra over the years of his life. For Ezra though, it made people easier to find, easier to hurt, and easier to kill. He didn't mind it one way or another, no one he had ever met had been hard to kill, so he didn't understand the concept of Easy or Hard in regards to murder, Then again, Ezra didn't even know what Murder was, his mind was still so far undeveloped in such concepts that he was unmoved by death, weather he caused it, or someone else did.

His smile got wider as the crowd grew more dense. His walk slowed to a stroll as he basked and bathed in the ignorance of the unknowing masses surrounding him. It sent a chill up his spine. Even more spine-tingling, however, was this feeling that attached itself to him. He felt the trace of void energies, stuck to him like a mistress' perfume. It was the signature of the lad that attempted to suppress him from before. Either the male from before could not control his power, or Saren was being tracked. Either way, despite the fact that things did not end the way he imagined, Saren's goal had been attained. Things had, indeed, become more entertaining. Even more so, it could only get better from here. In the meantime, however, he would focus on the world before him.

"This world is a world of mortals."

His voice had returned to the aggressive growl from before, as he continued to walk through the crowd. It would return to a calm, condescending whisper before long.

"It is a world of ignorance."

His smile widened, baring teeth, gritted together to symbolize his growing instability.

"It is a world that will soon reach the end of the line."

Saren's arms had now been outstretched, as if he were inviting the world he spoke of into his cold embrace. His turned his head to the sky to bask further, then straightened his gaze. His eyes shot open as wide as possible as he completed his aside.

"And I will be the conductor."

His stride now turned into what seemed like an impromptu ballroom dance through the mass of humanity. Things had now been set in motion... whether anyone knew or not.

Lani fainted... She was sort of overwhelmed.

(( BEST. POST. EVER. But seriously, sorry for the one liner. xD ))

Rune watched as the festivities began. The town mayor walked onto stage, he used some kind of magic to amplify his voice. "WELCOME HEROES FROM ALL THE LAND TO THE FESTIVAL OF HEROES!" He shouted as the crowd cheered. "ALL OF YOU BRAVE ONES ENJOY YOURSELVES!" He finished as the mayor stepped down. Somewhere a group of musicians started to play, using the same magic to amplify their upbeat music. Colored lights danced about the entire village. "This is such a lovely sight." Rune said to himself as he watched.

Don sat on a small bench at the edge of the town jumping shadow from shadow to shadow watching everyone and wondering why this festivle was so important.

"Imagine how many breakers are just roaming around in there ready to kill"

Don smirked at the ignorance of these humans. This is the reason he trust no one anyone can be anybody.

He stopped at a certain shadow, a shadow of a blue haired man walking in a group of what seems to be a group of Heroes and Breakers.

"How Ignorant they are to the people around them, How they walk together in a matter that everyone is safe." He smiled and wondered how ineresting this would be he stuck to this shadow and twriled his sword in rythym to his footstep.

"Well this'll be more fun than i thought, If it gets even better i might even join in myself."
"As like i do everyday and will do today ill stay in the shadows."

Don smirked, which turned into a giggle, and into a full burst laugh. "A man i crack myself up, stay in the shadows, hahaha that was funny."
Don stopped alughing and ot back to business. He heard the blue man say something interesting. "Hey anyone know what that giant ball of light was all about."

Don sat up straight and looked wided eyed. "Is he here too." Don put his sword back on his back and ran into the crowd.

"If hes here than everyone here is in danger i have to find him quick."

Rune watched on as the crowd enjoyed the light show. He noticed someone who looked wide-eyed and dived into the crowd. "Hmm...I wonder what that was about?" He asked himself as he decided to follow him. He lept of his perch and grabbed a strip of Dragon Bacon before eating it while following him. (It's kinda slow Nin, it oughta pick up later.)
@Ninja God

Don looked for the man by eyes and shadows. He knew it wouldn't be easy.

"Anyone could be Anybody" he repeated to himself running around wide eyed. He slowed down noticing he was making himself look to suspicious. He looked behing him making sure he is not being followed. Then he stopped. His shadow search had led him to a man sitting by a fountain with a malicous grin. His shadow was obscurred by a powerful bright aura.

"Its him" he whispered

Lani was already running to the the festival, freaked out. She crashed through a crowd, making some people fall. She fell herself. She took one collar of a person. "I know I'm a hero- But, Breakers! And more breakers!! Help!" She panicked looking around. The man pushed her down hard, like if she was crazy. She winced and looked around. "Someone! Anyone?!"
@Ninja God

Don was approaching the man until he heard the scream of a girl. He looked back at where was sitting but he was gone. "Dammit" He ran over to the girl and asked her what was wrong she looke terrified

@Sandra

Lani put back her hood. Standing up. Only her pink lips and pales lips were showing now. She looked at Don. "No. N-Never mind,"

J-just.. Get a drink.. Yes. A drink. Act like nothing happened. Hey some company... Yes. I need company. How about this man? Yes. Okay. Whatever.. She thought.

Lani smiled, letting out a shaky sigh. "Let's celebrate shall we? Over a drink?" She said. "I'm Lani, A hero.." She stated.

Don looked over the girl is she serious he Thought. This girl made him lose the reason he came into the crowd in the first place. "Im not here to celebrate and if your a hero you should know that this place isnt safe, Theres a very dangerous man here." He was ready to walked away but looked at the girl again. He thought about it for a moment he could use this girl as cover so he'll look less suspicious and continue his shadow search. "Beside from that i wouldnt mind a drink or two. I am also a hero nice to meet you." He wanted to leave badly but was compeeled by his mission, he gave the girl one more look. "Anyone can be Anybody." He repeated that statement under his breath

Lani smiled with a raised brow, but this person couldn't see her raised brow since it was hidden. "Follow." She said, going into a pub, sitting down and getting a waitress to get two beers.

"Oi. What's your name, hero?" She said with suspicion in her voice. She's heard of most Hero names.

Lani put up a creepy smile, that's what all he could see.

I know he can't be. He seems.. Different. Shall I wait? Or make a move? What if my move was wrong and he was innocent? Gah.. Just wait. Yea. Wait.

Don took a sip of his beer. "My name is Doniku Jzuku." He looked at the girl she look kind of suspicious of him so he put on his best smile and took the shadow from her hands and put it front of her in a handshake motion. "I can manipulate shadows. I can put them into a solid, liquid and gas state as well"

Ezra hated walking everywhere.

Walking in General bothered him.

With a sigh, Ezra glanced skyward, he had paused and let his mind relax, calmed himself, he had sent out another pulse to track where this town was. It had taken him a few moments, so he glanced at any left around him and waved.

"I'm Hungry..." Ezra said with a calm tone.

With those words, it was as though his shadows had consumed him, they would expand in an orb around him and then reduce in on itself before creating a shock-wave of Void Energy. When the shock-wave would subside, he would have vanished, not only from the location, but he would have time skipped as well, his fatigue and hunger had driven him to miscalculate his jump, which would have preserved him within time for a short period before dropping him near his intended location, if several meters above the ground, above a table of food.

As a new bubble of Void energies appeared, Ezra opened his eyes as it reduced itself around him, placing him several meters in the air. He looked down, saw the food, and tears began to seep from his tear ducts, it was then that it dawned on him where he was, and he blinked several times before he began to fall.

"Oh..." He muttered.

Ezra plummeted to the table, face first, arms flailing, he slammed into the table with a gasp as the wind was knocked out of him, his mind sent into a daze.

Ezra tried to clear his mind, before his voice echoed out, "Ouch..."

Lani was impressed, but she never heard of him. She still had to wait. Lani shook he shadow hand and smiled,

Eh.. I'll put down my hood.

She took off her hood, some of her long dark brown luscious hair fell down her shoulder. Her sparkling brow eyes were wide in happiness and booze. Her lightly roses cheeks seem to be showing and she sighed.

"Well. Doniku. I'm Lani."

He smiled and went back to his drink. He had to find the man, but hthe girl next to him was beatiful she blew him away after she removed her hood. "Hey you wanna take a walk i dont wanna be sitting for too long. And i can get to know you more its kind of noisy in here." He had a limit to were he could reach shadows so moving would be his only option.

Lani nodded. "Yea." She said, paying and leaving. Walking silently she looked at him. "Shadow magic.. I have lightning magic." She said smiling. "Not the strongest magic.. I'm trying to practice more."

"Hmmm lighnting and shadows not the weirdest mix, but weird." He blushed at what he said. "Lani tell me about yourself you seem like an interesting girl."

The search was unsuccessful and it was draining him so he decided to stop for awhile and to relax but he kept his back covered with a bug shadow he passed by.

Lani blushed and excitedly start to ramble on, "Well. I started to study magic when I was a little girl, I searched every magic! Practice some water magic, but it failed for me. But.. Lightning magic! I was in love instantly. I don't know why.. Just the thrill, The Electricity flowing deep inside of you when you're hyped up makes it feel awesome! I wanted to help people at the same time, I trained and trained become a strong woman, defending her people. But for now.. I just seem to wander aimlessly for surprises and adventure.." She said, pushing some hair behind her ear.

Don listened to the girl and snapped a mental picture of her pushing her hair back. This girl was oactually the only girl hes talk talked to in awhile unprofetionally. "Your really cute, theres really nothing to say about me but udeless chit chat. Ive always liked ot stay in the shadows the shadows became my home and my life. It sounds a bit corny but its true" He thought he spotted something behind him and his faced straightened out remember what he was here for he was getting to relaxed. "Anyone can be Anybody" He went back to scanning the area he was wasting time.

Ezra sat up in the wreckage that was the table he had landed upon, blinking as a crowd began to draw. He'd already picked up several bits of food and began sampling them idly as the town's people began to surround him to find out what was going on. He stood up slowly and stretched slightly, then began to dust himself off, idly ignoring the majority of the world around him. Ezra glanced around the area and frowned as he began to hear the people around him. The spirits attached to them, and the void energies within him began to stir again, his voices starting to seep into his mind again.

Ezra frowned and said, "Ah... Damn... People..."

And then... Ezra's eyes turned black...

Lani blushed at his comment of her being really cute. "Well thank you." She said, clearing her throat, "Uhm. I think I do like your magic, shadow magic is very hard to learn. I'm very impressed you are a master. Master of shadows to be exact." She gave a small smile to him.

He complimented me... He seems nice. Hm. Guess I can trust him. Not fully. But enough to keep talking to him.
