Fantasy Worlds Apart Together

(Ohmaigawd I'm so left out ;- ;)

Raven grunted, and sat on the dirt. There was nothing to do, her audits flickering in every direction in a glitched manner. She could feel Zephenn's power surging through her flesh, and knew there was something wrong. "No, n-no! Not a g-litc-h!!" Her audits glared at the ground as they became as bright as car headlights. Certain plates from the anatomy of the Aexons began to surface from her skin, and her size increased to at least twelve feet, and a metallic face became that of her flesh. An extra femur grew unto her legs before it was replaced with metallic armors. "Stu-p-p-id gl-i-tch!" She growled, before she lost balance and the alien fell off a small cliff into the sandy beaches. Her back, was still exposed, small, and fragile compared to the rest of the beast's size. Without a doubt, the flesh fazed into a robotic circuitral pattern, and the spine lifted from the skin, immediately lining the outside structure. Zephenn's form was complete, a tall, four limbed alien that was tripping over clumps of seaweed and holographic systems were failing.

Miles...

It had been MILES...

Why was it always Miles he had to walk...

Ezra sighed as he reached the edge of the water. There was an ocean between him and the town. He wrinkled his nose and inwardly growled. Why was there always an obstacle, Always something in his way. He tugged at his clothing for a moment.

"Swimming... Ah... Miles... Swimming... Bad..." He groaned out.

Ezra did a little frustrated dance, letting out an exasperated whimper. He paused mid step, and calmed down. What was he doing? He had the void, he could just shift himself bodily across the ocean. A bubble formed around him, pure void wrapping itself around his body. Then the bubble, just as before, burst, with a shock-wave of immense power.

Seconds later, Ezra was on the other side of an Ocean, another pop of power, another shift in reality, and he reappeared on the beach, the shock of two explosions of void energy within miles of one another, was something that most world's energy patterns didn't do well with, and this world was no exception. Ezra could feel the distress he caused the planet, how it slowly shifted it out of balance and into chaos.

That suited him just fine.

But when a wave splashed him from behind, soaking him, Ezra was no longer fine. He was wet. Unhappy and wet. He felt like crying, but he also felt like retaliating. One part of his mind informed him how that was a pointless effort, but another point urged him to take revenge on the ocean itself. The logical part of his mind won out and he let out a frustrated sigh before looking about. It was only then that he noticed there were people nearby. Not really within earshot because of the crashing waves, but close enough to have either felt, seen, or heard the explosion of void energies that had signaled his arrival. With a sigh, his lids lowered, his expression became one of eternal boredom, as he began to wonder if any of them would put the dots together that it was him that caused the energy wave, and which ones of them he would have to break to keep them quiet about it.

Logic kicked in again.

"Just walk away..."

He frowned, wondering, "But where... Where should I go...?" He knew there was a town somewhere nearby, he could almost feel it, but whenever he moved within the void, he lost his bearings. Ezra sighed, then an idea came to him. Maybe one of the people on the beach would know where the town was...

Ezra began walking towards them, still dripping of void energies, uncaring, or unknowing, he approached them at a slow walk, time meant little to him, comfort meant far more.

His hand found his Railgun and Vasilias quickly pointed it at the robotic monstrosity that was clumped in seawood and splashing around near the shallows. He didn't know what it was, nor did he wanted to know what it did. His finger gently rested on the trigger. Before he shot at the monstrosity, he asked Lani and Ferai a question. "What in the honest hell is that thing?"

And then Vasilias pressed the trigger of his Railgun and two electric blue bullets shot from it's point.

On his way Rune noticed one of the visiting heroes was harassing a heroine aspirant. He frowned at the act and said "Intervention: Strike." Quicksilver blurred and knocked away the harasser before returning. He continued on his way.

One would have to be willingly ignorant to not know of the festival of heroes. It was a gathering of those with the power to fight for the welfare of others. No... the power wasn't what made them heroes. It was their will. Their want to help others in need was what bestowed that name upon them. Heroes were around to keep the world in balance.

Saren could not be any more disgusted.

He walked above the town, suspended by a seemingly invisible bridge created entirely from light he bent to serve that purpose. The village below him was filled to the brim with bystanders, valiant fighters and mages. From his point of view, they looked like ants. They looked like ants that he wanted to take a microscope to. It was a colony he wanted to kick around. After all, these people, as far as he was concerned, were playthings. It was only fair, in his mind, to compare them to hive-minded insects. They lived in blissful monotony, never seeking change in the everyday hustle and bustle and relying solely on their loving "heroes" for support. They couldn't even defend themselves from the foot that was slowly infringing upon their frail existences.

But, oh, what was this? Void energies were present, as well? It would seem not only the heroes had come to play. Others known as Breakers, in the same line as Saren himself, were present, wolves in the proverbial flock of sheep. Things were about to get really interesting. The fur lining of his hood brushed across the back of his neck, multiplying the chills he felt from the sheer enjoyment he looked forward to... but he would merely observe for now. If he were to get involved, things would get too serious, too quickly. The ants would be stomped out. Fortunately, due to the same phenomenon of manipulated light, he had also been rendered invisible to the naked eye. He was in the perfect position to be a spectator. Seeing the most activity near the beach from his elevated position, he began a leisurely stroll in that direction, humming an unidentified song. He would enjoy waiting for the psychology of the coming meetings to develop... and fatten themselves for Saren's future enjoyment.

Lani gasped, "What if that thing was nice?! Why did you shoot it!? We can probably identify it better if it came closer!!" She said biting her lip. Lani pulled him by the wrist, she was actually quiet strong, "Let's make a run for it toward the festival if it wants to get dangerous, mixing in with the crowd would be good." Lani said, growling slightly.

The beast had finally gotten it's balance, and ripped off the seaweed that entangled her frame with a simple snap. The glitched systems slammed into emergency mode, shutting down all of the additional ones. Right when she was going to lift herself up onto the cliff, her side plates were impaled with a burst of shock, which numbed the flesh-like circuitry underneath just slightly. 'Let me pop my face out, Zephenn...' As requested, The alien head shifted the jaw plates in a backwards motion, and the upper mandibles opened, as well as the cranium allowing a holographic structure of Raven's face could be seen, including the log she carried. "What the hell man?! I can't feel myself exactly right where you hit me because of your little rifle shock thingy!!" She growled, her lower two arms holding the log out in front of her. "Now let's make something clear!" She grunted out to the group, her upper arms coming together, allowing simulative plates to interlock from the wrist down, flattening into a razor.

She then brought down her arms onto the log, cutting it clean, and her arms reassembled.
"I only want to make friends! So, if something I did pissed you off, you should allow me to do the dance of my people, which includes these two logs that you guys have to carry around, while me balancing on top of the two!" She nearly pissed herself laughing. She was obviously joking, but wanted to scare the living daylights out of them.

Ezra had paused and watched the scene unfold in front of him. Watching as the strange machine had appeared, how the people on the beach had reacted to it, and how the machine had responded.

It was all so stupid...

With a sigh, he found himself wondering if it was really worth the effort of walking over to them, or if he should just collapse space around them and obliterate them to rid the world of their idiocy.

Once again, the logical side of his mind intervened, "It's easier to let them live now, and kill them all at once later."

Ezra sighed again, and approached the group, stepping over to the man that had fired the weapon off, as he would be the least likely to act scared in Ezra's opinion, he tapped the man on the shoulder.

"Take me to the nearest town." Ezra said with a flat, commanding tone that would harbor no argument.

He stared at the man with his dark, seemingly soulless eyes, his face betraying no emotion or feeling as he spoke again, saying only one more word, "Now."

All he wanted was to play in the beach, breathing in the salty sea air and just do nothing evil for a few hours.

But nah, the world decided to shove all the bad karma back to him, today and right now.

Vasilias strapped his Railgun onto his back. No hostility after all, only some bad jokes. Lani tugged at his wrist and he felt himself being pulled away. "Well, you can't tell anything or anyone if they're good or bad at first glance, unless if they make it bloody obvious,"

"So I decided to take the precaution of just saying its a bad thing because-" he gestured to the creature with a hologram of a girl's face, who just sliced a log clean in half. "It made it bloody obvious that its a bad thing, not including the saying of it just wanting to make friends. How can you gain friends by acting like that?!"

Vasilias finished, shaking his head and stopped himself from being pulled any further by using his own strength against Lani's. The Robot thing gave off the same feeling as Lani. What were they actually? Were they good, or were they bad? Well you can't judge on first glance.

Next thing the Semblancer knew, a man had walked over to their group and tapped him on the shoulder, saying something with a commanding tone. This time, Vasilias didn't feel anything, not a sense of being familiar with the man or the odd sense that Lani and the Robot had.

"With that tone, I wouldn't take you to any town, only to the depths of the sea," Vasilias admitted to the man, a frown on his lips. "But you can come with us, since we're heading to a Festival near the village here."

Then he looked back at the robot thing. "I...don't want you to tag along because you'll make us look ridiculous as we already are. But feel free to stay a few feet behind us."

Raven chuckled, the robotic figure shrinking, and folding away so complex you couldn't follow one organ at a time. Soon enough, her enormous looks came back to a pretty woman with human skin. She flailed her arms. "Sorry!" She ran over, almost dying from the glitch's symptoms: No breath. "I'll explain later... My name's Raven." She chuckled, holding out a hand, hoping someone would shake it.

Lani frowned and stepped back a bit, "No harm... Well. He might cause some harm, but I'm innocent....." She muttered moving her dark brown hair from her face. "Ya' know. We should just leave it alone..." Lani sighed she wasn't in the mood of beating stuff up.

Ezra's face contorted emotionally, anger seeped out of him and he flinched as his thoughts grew dangerously unstable towards Vasilias.

"Why must it always be so hard!" The volatile part of his brain screamed out.

"Because they're all the same..." Another part of his mind said with a gloating tone. It went on in his mind, "They're not a freak like you... But the way they look at you, they must already know how much of a freak you are..."

Ezra gasped, and jumped to a horrible conclusion, saying aloud, and none too quietly, "You all think I'm some kind of freak..."

Dark, violent sparks of energy erupted from his body, rippling across his shoulders, down his back and across the crown of his head, shimmering like black electricity. The visual contamination that was the void growing out from within him displayed itself that way, like an electrical storm made of darkness. It rippled up from his feet to the crown of his head, arcing between his joints and across his skin in waves, like a horrible dark aura. He stared at Vasilias and shuddered with growing power, anyone with a sense for energy would be able to tell it was far more power then he should have been able to contain in his form, that it was harming him as much as it was intended to harm his targets.

"All of you should die..." He muttered venomously.

His crazed mind had bunched them together, and Vasilias' refusal towards him had sparked the maddened voices in his mind to send him into a nearly psychotic frenzy, but alas, such was Ezra's way, bi-polar madness switching between emotions rapidly and jumping to any conclusion his mind set forth.

"He did say he would take you to town..." The logical voice broke through in his mind after a few moments.

Ezra calmed immediately, his expression returning to normal, his energies released in an explosive wave that sent the sand around him into the air in a near whirlwind, his gaze was still on Vasilias, when he spoke again.

"I can come then?"

And just like that, he had flipped back to being docile.

Vasilias was taken aback. The robot thing was actually a woman, another younger looking one. He could feel himself getting tired suddenly, all this strange excitement made him feel drained. Same reaction to Lani's handshake, he didn't accept it, only introduced himself by saying his name to Raven.

He ignored Lani's minor chatter and sigh, since his attention was focused on the man that said something pretty dark out loud. 'Neutral Chaos, I feel hostility.' He thought, his hand finding its way back to his Railgun. Suddenly, dark sparks erupted out from the man's body, the black electricity snaking down his shoulders and back, and it formed some sort of crown on his forehead. 'What the fuck.' Vasilias thought, his frown turned sincere and worried.

The man muttered something, but he caught the last word. "Die."

Then man's expression changed quickly to a calmer one, the black electricity disappeared and a small shockwave was released, as to be expected from a great power being stored like that.

The sand around him blew slightly. "What..." Vasilias said out loud, his hand dropping back to his side. The hell was that about? Un-necessary drama.

Saren, by now, had reached the scene, and was watching the events unfold, as ridiculous as they were from a stationary, mid-air sitting position. That aside, he could not, for the life of him, figure out why there were heroes and breakers standing together, socializing as if they were waiting for a city bus. It was baffling, and made him question the situation as a whole. His line of thinking was halted when he witnessed Ezra's display of energy, and the shifting sands that resulted from it. As this occurred, Saren could not help but become interested, even going so far as to express it audibly.

"Oooooooh!"

His eyes lit up, as if he were a child walking into the candy store for the first time. He uncrossed his legs from their Indian-styled rest and leaned forward, holding himself up on all fours. It would seem that the combination of heroes and breakers would be an entertaining show, after all.

Rune had a sense of foreboding. Like something big was going to come. He shrugged the feeling off. "Must be one of those heroes telling a story with theatrics." He said as he walked into a small house. He put his stuff aside and set Quicksilver down. He looked into a mirror and smiled sadly. "I wish I knew what you were missing." He mumbled.

Ezra pointed at Vasilias, his face a dull mask of disinterest, His eyes half lidded as he didn't seem to care about anything around him whatsoever.

"You." His finger was pointed directly at Vasilias still, "Will take me to the nearest town. I'm hungry."

As if to press his point, a loud groaning gurgle broke the airwaves, and he glanced down at his stomach with a sigh. It had been weeks since he had eaten.

"Or was it years..."

"Must be years..."

"Has to be years..."

"It must be their fault..."

"Must be..."

"It's their fault..."

Ezra frowned, glaring at the other people within visual range, his face shifting, contorting suddenly, he was slipping again, psychosis, schizophrenia, insanity, bi-polar mood swings, his mind was a mess. He was suffering from malnutrition, dehydration, and a very bad case of septic shock. The Void had preserved him within itself, but it could only slow his life down, not stop it from progressing. He looked at Vasilias, fighting back the various voices in his mind.

"Kill them all!"

With a sigh, he says, "They say I should kill you all, but I think you." He continues to point at Vasilias, "Can find me some place to eat."

Ezra's face was somewhere between a contorted scowl and a bitter frown. He would wait only a few moments for Vasilias to reply before his voices verdict won him over.

Vasilias scratched his blue locks in awe and confusion. He felt his power, even if the entirety of it wasn't released. He knew he was strong, maybe stronger than him, meaning that he couldn't defeat him in a fight-

The Semblancer dismissed that thought, he wasn't gonna get into a fight with anyone today. Maybe some heroes, but not neutral parties.

He nodded at the man that was pointing at him. "Sure. That weird-ass performance you did was pretty neat, I guess you deserve some sort of-" Vasilias' speech was cut off by the man's sigh and darker sentence that involved 'killing them.' They? Who was they? Oh god, is this guy some sort of psycho? Is he a guy that liked to kill for fun? Well at least they had something in common.

After the man finished talking, his strange expressions returned and was now only a strange mix of a frown and a scowl. 'Is he done talking weird? Yeah I guess he is.' Vasilias thought, his own features were contorted to an awkward grin. Pretty amusing, actually.

"I repeat, sure. We could find a place to chow down, dunno where, but I'm pretty certain it'll be at the Festival."

Ezra's face dropped like a stone in a gasping contortion.

What this man had just said could perhaps be the most wonderful thing of the day.

Ezra's eyes lit with flames brighter then the most powerful of forges as he was instantly before Vasilias, all former thoughts forgotten.

This man had said he could find them a place to get food!

Within a second, his hand was upon Vasilia's shoulder, tears in his eyes, he gazed at the man with a serious expression.

"Truly? You know to where we can gain food? A Festival of food?!"

It was as though the gods themselves were smiling in Ezra's demented mind as he began to shake Vasilias, he rapidly bent between the emotions of joy, anger, rage, back to joy, to humor...

BACK TO JOY!

To FURY!

BACK TO JOY!

Ezra's face was a mix of emotions as he struggled to issue forth words, he simply managed, "Food..!" along with a series of grunts and groans.

Through all of this though, Upon physical contact, Vasilias would get a taste of Ezra's power, as though he was being touched by a thousand stars, and Ezra's want of destruction, his goals, would shine through to Vasilias in but a moment of contact as the void itself touched Vasilias, and the voices within Ezra whispered in the mans ear.

"Kill Them..."

"Torture them!"

"Make them suffer for what they have done!"

"DESTROY THE REALMS!"

"BREAKER!!!"

Of course, Ezra had no idea just touching the man would do this, in his emotional state, he was very unaware of most of what he was doing.

Vasilias looked back at him, his awkward grin still plastered on his features as he placed both of his hands on the man's shoulder. This guy was full of surprises. Was he really into food that he would cry about it? Sheesh..some people need to live a bit more.

The Semblancer opened his mouth to ask the man to stop making weird noises as he struggled to pronounce the simple word "food", until he felt his body felt battered, hit by something powerful but not physically damaging it.

It was the most strangest feeling Vasilias ever felt and his hands on the man's shoulders tightened as voices suddenly erupted in his head, whispers that grew into yells then screams.

"Kill Them..."

"Torture them!"

"Make them suffer for what they have done!"

"DESTROY THE REALMS!"

And the final word that made Vasilias snap back into reality and stagger away from the man was...

"BREAKER!!!"

Instinctively, he grabbed for his railgun, blinded by the sudden shock. He nearly fired at something until he realised what he was doing, before quickly dropping his weapon on his foot. Vasilias yelped before grabbing his foot and hopped around.

"What...what the hell...did you just do?!" Vasilias slowly said at the man, venom dripping in his words.

Lani was just watching, her jaw on the ground. "UH..." She didn't know what the hel to do, spouts standing there, seeing them be... Weird. "Vasilias. Lets just show him a place to eat." She smiled kindly at him, very confused about Vasilias's actions.

( sorry short.. )

Over time, Saren's enjoyment dulled, and his interest waned. His facial expression changed from a glowing stare of interest to an unamused, blank slate. His eyelids contracted over his eyes, the "candy store" look from before clearly being a thing of the past. Things had been going as he wanted them to... but but slowly. Too slowly. He crossed his arms, his index finger tapping his bicep. It was a natural reaction of pure impatience. It was in this moment that Saren would cease to be a spectator.

"And so the insects fail to deliver. How sad."

Saren stood to his feet, still seemingly suspended in midair, and leaned backward to stop in an awkward position. It was almost as if he were leaning against an object. Looking down at the world below him, he raised his right arm above his head and pointed his palm toward the sky.

"Let's see how they react when they have a magnifying glass taken to them..."

A silver gleam of light formed itself atop Saren's palm. Around him, the wind began to unsettle, as visible streams of light formed and spiraled inward around him, his palm being the epicenter. The gleam became a spark. The spark became a sphere, and this sphere would take in more and more streaks of light, growing in size as it did so. By now, Saren's location would be obvious. From a third person point of view, he was now visible, his figure only being obstructed by the lightwaves circling his person. His expression would be a testament to how increasingly entertained he would become as those below him would notice, and could do naught but wonder. By now, the sphere would grow to be larger than the entire span of Saren's body, almost resembling a miniature sun. He turned his head upward to marvel at his instrument of destruction as he began quoting the Book of John to himself.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit!"

The sphere had now stopped growing, reaching full power. Its glow had now intensified tenfold, becoming almost as bright as the actual sun, itself. With this power, it seemed he intended to lay waste to the region below him.

"He that loveth his life shall lose it! And he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal!!!!"

Saren's voice had regressed into a more aggressive growl than usual. He would do anything to provide himself with entertainment now, and the reactions of fear from what anyone would view as a looming threat of destruction would provide just that.

"Light!!!"

"Kill the light!"

"The light is bad!"

"The Light is life... the light is love..."

"So is Shrek."

"What's a Shrek?"

Ezra's mind spun with the sudden overload of light as the voices in his head went berserk. He didn't care for bright lights, and this new, funny orb, was something that he didn't care for at all. He stared at it with growing irritation and dislike. The child-like destructive aspect in him turned towards it, away from those on the beach and made him ponder the situation. With a sigh, he stepped away from Vasilias.

Sighing, he mutters, "Light... Bad..."

An orb of void energy formed just in front of the iris of his right eye, and began to move away from him. It rippled and expanded, then blossomed again. Within seconds, it began to block out the light from the unknown threat. Ezra stepped closer to the orb, and flicked it with his index finger.

He muttered, "Go away..."

The orb shot away from him, expanding as it did, it became as large as the other orb as it rolled away, and then it split into dozens of smaller orbs. Within the blink of an eye, they surrounded the orb of light in a grid like pattern, and then wrapped around it, engulfing it. Ezra honestly had no idea how the two energies would effect one another. But, At least the light from the other orb was no longer irritating him. He turned back to Vasilias, "Can we go? I'm starving."

'Gotta get out of here, or else I'll catch the crazy fever.'

'Actually, this lightshow is pretty cool, you can say I feel enLIGHTENED.'

'Jesus, I'm so funny- shit, shit my foot really hurts.'

'That was quick, my foot doesn't hurt as much anymore.'

Vasilias' attention was mainly on massaging his poor foot. He glanced up a few times, only to see blinding lights then a few seconds of darkness before his vision dimmed then lightened up again, this time the light was bearable.

The Semblancer heard another foreign voice when the lights appeared, and it spoke old. Well, he thought it spoke old, since it kept saying 'eth' at the end. "Oh shut upeth" he would've said to the voice if he wasn't distracted by his foot.

Void-man spoke to him again, mentioning the word go and starving. This sounded like a ticket to get out of here.

Vasilias looked up at him and he knelt down to grab his weapon that was dropped on the sand.

"Yes, definitely! We should really go before things get out of hand as it already is." Vasilias said quickly as he slightly hobbled to the direction of the village. He looked back over his shoulder and did a motion with his head that signalled, 'Lets get going'.

'I'll repeat my question to the guy later. Whatever he did, it really did a number on my head...'

Ezra followed after Vasilias, his face calm, he was ignoring the big light in the sky as his void energies consumed it like a hungry beast. After all, it was energy, and the void was always hungry for more, Similar to Ezra's stomach. Which began groaning. Ezra let out a sigh and a whimper as he followed after Vasilias, the voices in his head began to torment him again.

"Are we there yet?"

"I'm hungry."

"Are we there yet?"

"This is boring!"

"Are we there yet?"

"FEED ME!"

"Are we there yet?"

"KILL THEM!!"

"Are we there yet?"

Ezra just wanted it to stop, the noise in his "Are we there yet?" head, the constant whispers of lost souls,"I'm hungry." the screaming, which, was coming back slowly. He "Are we there yet?" fidgeted repeatedly as "This is boring!" he followed "Are we there yet?" after Vasilias, wondering if he was actually taking "FEED ME!" him somewhere to eat. Ezra "Are we there yet?" groaned as the voices persisted inside "KILL THEM!!" his head.

"Shut up already... God..." He groaned out audibly, "I've got enough on my mind without listening to all of you bitch and moan..." He rubbed his head and sighed, oblivious that he had just said any of that out loud.

"Uh Oh..."
