Fandom Wolfenstein: The Sun Rises In The East

(Write-in) Find cover behind something and cause a distraction to maybe draw away one or two Nazi's. Throw a rock at something that'll make a loud enough noise to cause alertness in the soldiers.

Maybe?

I don't know.

I'm attempting to be creative. Lol.

✧ 3. use charisma to persuade/intimidate the soldiers away from jack (moderate) (4 ap)

darn. here starts the challenge. going with what we do best, which is influencing others w charisma. this causes quite a lot of ap so let's use the ap-free first move to our advantage. you oughta separate them good, sanako. you oughta.

I feel like sweet talking would be more effective without the commander bro there. We should try to get rid of him somehow.

Cause he's like all.... commander-y and serious and stuffs.

Just so you guys know, you can list an action you want to use for free then list off any other actions that would cost AP so for example.

3. Cause I want to try and use charisma for free

Then 1. Cause spray and pray (2AP) if that doesn't work

You can list multiple actions to use if you think it's necessary to use them.

Hell maybe if your succeed on the charisma check you can just mow them down without difficulty since you've distracted them. Just putting that idea out there.

The soldiers are only following orders, sneak up to the commander and take him hostage. This will be accomplished by jabbing the pistol into the small of his back and simultaneously ripping off the headset. Too difficult to charm the commander, and charming each solider would take too long and in that time the commander would have already acted. This action is the least risk adverse.
(Moderate) (2AP)
Edit: If this fails at least you will have a human shield while you gun down the goons. (Moderate)(1AP)

Totally concur.

I do believe it's better to first gain the attention of the enemies through >charisma. It doesn't have to be flat-out persuasion or intimidation, but as long as she has their attention (which has a fair chance to happen, since her character has almost overflowing charisma, especially if she uses it well), she can use the situation to her advantage.

It would be nice to sneak up on the commander, if Sanako didn't have a debuff on stealth, and it's the commander, of all people, so I'll hold off on that. If she can even be spotted in a crowd, I don't think this is the best action.

It's better to take her chance with what she has best--her charm. After the free action, there are still 5 AP, yes? When she gets near or once they get off guard, she should >gun the ones at a distance from Jack and >melee those who are close enough.

Problem is that is IF we can sneak up on him

When you have the negative stealth flaw and still want to take the most sneaky option. We took it because we're all about the challenge, guys.

Personally, I would try to spend our free action on charismatizing the commander before considering anything else, because the result of this action may really quite affect what we do next. Let's see how well that one goes before we start using some APs.

Remember, talking to the enemies is likely to divert their attention from Jack.

I agree with this, let's just see what the charisma gets us and then see how the situation falls from there, striking them when they become vulnerable.

i thought it was one action at a time oops sorry

sooo there's still an action or two that can be done

i go w Taji Taji . charisma then physical. #femmefatale

True. Yeah, I think using the free action on attempted charisma is the choice to do. I forgot we had a stealth debuff, lol.

If the charisma doesn't work we can always just, GUN' EM THE FUCK DOWN.

Well yeah if we get close enough, we should be able to gun them down with ease afterwards.

I've sorta lost track of things, is the majority consensus that we persuade then once they're distracted we gun them down? Is that correct?

Not really, but this takes the difficulty out of actually having to talk them down (which was quite unlikely to happen) so let's go that route.

Right, I totally forgot about the stealth debuff. In that case we should definitely use our charisma skill and shoot if things get too hairy. Since everything is decided by dice rolls, moving in accordance with our skills is the best option.

You get into cover and yell out at the soldiers, your main purpose to distract them from Jack and you readying your guns.

"There are enemies coming! Look out behind you guys!"

Not taking any chances the goons all look to their backs as well as the commander, your bluff worked. They were currently distracted so now you can easily open fire on the. Jack upon seeing this opportunity attacked the closest goon to him and took his gun, blowing the man's brains out. You then fired at the commander and killed the rest of the bastards with great efficiency, the commander never had time to call in reinforcements.

Jack went to the commander, plucked his pistol and seemed to have gotten a document off the body ((Yep, I made a roll and you guys got some secret Nazi info!)). He ran up to you quite impressed and relieved to see that you're okay. His arm though doesn't look so good.

"Well ain't you a sight for sore eyes. Them bastards sure had a right good one there eh? I was tryin to see if I could figure out why them blokes was here but uh... They seemed to have spotted me and well one fucker hit me arm with a knife. I'm fine but I think we should get a move on."

Jack was a British kid who came to Japan to get away from some trouble with his parents. They found out that the consulate wasn't exactly better than the Nazis so he had a rough time around the island nation but was better off than most Asians. His arm looked pretty bad, while you're not much of a medical expert you could tell that this is kinda beyond your ability. Maybe Yuki could help with it.

"Listen, I just sent Akira to help out Yuko and Yuki lets go and check on them."

Suddenly you hear gunshots from the direction you sent Akira, Jack nodded.

"Rightly so I should think. Let's go check up on them, the quicker the better."

With that the two of you rush down to help Akira and the sisters. Upon arriving at the scene you find six goons dead and Akira and Yuko with rifles, while Yuki was hiding behind some cover. Akira looked at you and waved while Yuko went to check on her sister.

"Got here in time to help Yuko kill these fuckers, I'd say you inspired me with your awesomeness earlier."

You walked up to the sisters and asked if they're okay.

Yuko was the first to reply.

"With all that's going on, no we're not okay. They burning the district, killing or capturing anybody they please. We don't even know where our parents are, my sister is scared beyond belief and... I'm sorry it's just that we saw our... Never mind thanks for coming to help us anyways."

"I appreciate it too... W...we saw some of your gang members being captured by the Nazis and came to tell you since your friend Asuka with them."

Asuka was your more medical guy, if someone got hurt, he'd patch you up. If he and other members of your gang got captured then you have to rescue them. All of these purges and the maltreatment of your people makes you wish that everybody could be saved hell you even saved Jack and the sisters. Maybe you have a chance at saving your parents!

You followed the sisters to where they knew the location of the rest of your gang was. On the way there you spotted another group of people being escorted by actual Nazi soldiers. Among the prisoners were your own parents. You almost immediately sprinted towards them but you held yourself back, Yuko notices this and the prisoners. You could free them with the help of everyone but you'd be sacrifing the rest of your gang and Asuka, yet if you go save Asuka this may be the last you see your parents.

Do you put family above bond or bond above Family? You cannot save both.

1. Save Asuka and the rest of your gang. (Moderate) (Chosing this eliminates helping The prisoners) (Relations with Yuko and Yuki goes down)

2. Save the prisoners and your parents. (Extremely Difficult) (Chosing this loses the ability to help Asuka and the rest of your gang) (Realtions with Jack and Akira goes down)

Sometimes you have to be practical. It is too difficult to save your parents. I'm sure they would understand. :`(

1. This could kick-start your rebellion, and you made a pledge to your gang.

'Actual Nazi soldiers' of the very well-armed sort? This decision isn't quite as hard as it seems, then. We're going to save Asuka and the gang.

Our parents gave us a chance to escape, and they'd hate to see us make a decision which puts the lives of both the prisoners and the gang in extreme danger.

Their sacrifice has already been made and their farewells already said - but the gang still has a chance. The Yukes will come to agree with us soon enough.

I'd have to go with save the gang as well.

Out parents have already said their goodbyes and decided their fate. They have to understand.

Plus, we need the numbers. This whole rebellion thing'll be hard without 'em. The Yukes will have to deal with it. Sorry, girls.

See ya someday, mom and dad. :closedeyescryingfrown:

Yep, the only approach is the pragmatic approach, so strength in numbers and as sadistic as it sounds guess we need to suffer some loss to move us forward. So go save the rest of our gang!
