Fenris on hearing her whine felt desperate, he could had control over himself. He dashed through the thin icy walls of the doom rushing towards the dome. " WHERE ARE YOU!" he howled loudly, his head moved all around as he hope his gaze would finally settle on her. His heart was pounding as he sprinted around looking for skyler, he was not thinking of repaying the debt that Skyler had for saving Fenris, but he was worried for Skyler's well being.

she heard his howl knowing who he was by the tone and let a loud howl "Fenris, im over here!! " Skyler tried standing at last she given up and waited for someone to find her she whined and covered her leg with her head once more to ease the pain she was lightly shivering due to fear but she refused to show it.

Fenris hurriedly stopped as the voice echoed all over the forest, ' where is she! ' he thought dashing towards the direction he though was the origin of the sound. His fur was bouncing, it was heavy and dense, it did slow Fenris but it was a price worth for the heat and the coyness it provided. He could soon see a figure, he was not sure if it was skyler or even a wolf, it was quite distant after all. A howl slipped through his throat, loud enough to be heard by anyone in the region

skyler howled once again this time relieved. "Fenris you are close!" she sensed him before she saw his sillouette when she saw him her tail wagged lightly below her leg as she lifted her head to look at the sillouette that got closer.

He tried to stop, but skid in the snow. He was happy to finally be able to find her, but cautious cause he might have just called attention of everyone around. He now walked slowly, keeping one paw after another, making not the littlest of the sounds. His fangs bared gently as asked, " Are you okay?", slowly wagging his tail from east to west in the joy of finding her

"Im fine just hurt my paw and cant move." skyler spoke softly and silently trying not to drag more attention than was already brought,her tail wagging lightly as she stopped shaking she stretched her head until she could reach his chest and lightly nuzzled him and tried to stand

"Stand down" he said in a low gentle tone pushing skyler down. He looked over finding the cause of her pain, his fur over skyler bringing her warmth. It was not long till the thought of taking down skyler now to gain control over her territory came to Fenris's mind, he could easily turn into a alpha finally but would like want to turn into one for such a price? was the question he asked himself. Soon he found out the twisted leg and glared at it with his light blue eye, slowly freezing the ankle. He slowly sat down to keep skyler warm while he was freezing her, " Don't you dare move" he said in just audible tone.

"But- " she cant argue due to her being freezing she worried on keeping herself warm trying not to become weaker she curled against him trying to stop her shivering as she calmed down abit. "fenris thank you." skyler remained down due to his pushing. She sensed something was odd in him but shook it out of her mind and her tail slowed down and rested on the ground.

" Just consider this as my debt replayed " he grunted, trying to hide from her face. " Its down, do not move it for a day or two" he said almost coldly, trying not to show any sign of sympathy or pity, even care for that matter. maybe he was just wanting to act this way or was it what he wanted, he was conflicted inside on why he is acting this way, he felt like living a solitary life was the best for him, but there was a doubt he had in his analogy.

Skyler smiled and looked at him tilting her head. "Alright, thanks alot you are the best." Her tail swaying left and right as she was watching him carefully sensing something different. "There wasnt a debt to begin with, i dont know what you were doing out here but i will say this a lone wolf isnt the best thing why did you leave?" She sniffed the air sensing he was uneasy and that She was confused. Her fur standing abit really fluffy from the cold, making her look beautiful and abit nuturing to ever part of nature.

Fenris did not feel like answering to her, he did not want anyone's help or pity anymore. He bore his fangs, one of his eyes closed, he gazed right into skyler's eye and said in a aggressive tone, " I am not obligated to answer to you ". He did not understand why he did, then he moves his fangs near skyler's neck, his mouth grabbed skyler. " I shall escort u back" he said hoping she was not able to hear it. He dragged skyler slowly hoping it as comfortable for her

"i was not trying to make you answer." She had said now frustrated baring her teeth abit as a warning for him to drop her. she layed limp making it seem harder for him to move her. "No, i can manage." she shot a glare at him abit annoyed at how he acted.

He tried to not look towards her, and ignore her, but what she said was the only ting in his mind. He had no intention of dropping her nor letting her walk in that state of hers. Fenris felt like baring his fangs in her to discipline her, but he just could not do so. Finally he ended up dragging her, the cave for not far now its outline was now visible to Fenris, he took a deep breath after all it is not easy to pull a alpha wolf.

"Fenris please i can manage." she thought about biting him in the leg tightly and aggressive to teach him to listen but she didnt believe in hurting another wolf so she let him drag her near the outskirts as she seen it she perked up seeing the others were still asleep Skyler stood on the three paws and helped him by limping keeping pressure off it. "Let me go please ill be fine." She refused for him to drag her any longer and growled at him not caring he was trying to help. she thought once again about biting him but what good would it do after all she was hurt and didnt know if she could fight back.

Fenris dragged her into the cave before dropping her gently, he then began to breath heavily as his heart pounded in his rib cage. " Happy now?" he asked in a dramatic way, after all he finally agreed to what she wanted. He bared a sad look on his face, for he knew he may be the cuase for skyler's anger.

Skyler wagged her tail happily and stopped growling upon being let go. "yes thank you."she let out a light breath and looked at him tilting her head. "You look sad something the matter?" she laid down curling her tail over her paw and looking at him with a slight bit of regret across her face fearing she hurt his feelings.

He kept ignoring her, Fenris got be ignorant at times, he slowly walked towards the entrance of the cave and sat there still, half his body out of the cave. " I am sorry" he said in a low tone, he himself had no idea why he said so. snow slowly falling over his white fur, a little smile came over his face, as he sat there wagging his tail, he was happy that skyler was save but sad for how he acted.

"Its fine you were trying to help." She smiled and her tail wagged She looked at him. she couldnt help to be happy now that he was alittle more calm and happy.

Somewhere out in the forest, near a wide, slow flowing river, loud splashes, followed by low growls of frustration could be heard echoing through the trees. In the center of the river standing stock still and staring intensely down into the nearly clear water, a black and white she wolf could be seen. Suddenly she lunged forward, her head disappearing beneath the surface with a splash. She came back up seconds later, snorting water from her nose and emitting a low growl, revealing the source of the noises mentioned earlier. Looking toward the bank of the river, the black and white she-wolf voiced a plaintive whine. "Grandfather, this is impossible, the fish are just to fast, I can't do it" she complained, addressing the aging white wolf who was currently dozing on the bank.


Opening one faded yellow eye, the elderly white wolf fixed his frustrated grandpup with a bemused expression. "You're just to impatient Vera, your timing is off, and even if it wasn't, your strike is to slow" he admonished, crossing his large paws. "You're a smart pup, I know you'll get it eventually, just keep trying" he added, softening his rebuke with encouragement before closing his eyes-and ears-to any further complaints she might think to voice.


Sighing heavily, Vera turned her gaze back to the water flowing around her paws. "I'm not a pup anymore" she mumbled, not hearing her grandfather's amused chuckled as she returned to her fishing lesson.

Skyler moved her head and layed back down looking at Fenris. As she smelled the scent of unknown wolves she let out a soft small howl and a whine. "Cold." she looked around.

Fenris's head slowly rose upon hearing the whine, He tilted his face looking at skyler, he did not sense the other wolf yet. He shacked his body, causing the snow that laid on him to crash to the ground. He rose to his feet and walked towards skyler. He did not utter a single word and sat next to her, sharing his warm and cozy fur. His head soon feel down, he was surely tiered at the point and maybe also sleepy.

Skyler nuzzled up against him and softly laid her head on him . "rest." she sensed everything happening and look at fenris carefully with a smile not showing her teeth

Fenris just nodded his head as he turned his face away from skyler, his eyes fell shut as he fell asleep in moments.

Skyler was very silent in hope of helping him relax as she had begun to look around and she fell asleep soon after with her tail curled around them both

Vera's concentration was broken when a faint howl reached her ears, causing her to jerk and miss her target. "Spirits curse it!" she snapped stomping a paw in the water. Giving up, she waded out of the nearly freezing water, not about to spend another moment standing in it lest her paws freeze and fall off. Shaking herself thoroughly, she padded over and nudged the snoring elder.


"Grandfather?" she called, getting no response. "Grandfather!" she barked louder, causing the old wolf to snort and jerk awake. "I just heard a howl, someone knows we're here" she explained before he could scold her for waking him.


Sage 'hmned' at the news. "I was wondering when they would notice us, I've been smelling them for a while now" he stated, grunting a bit as he rose into a sitting position. "Well, we'd best let them know we came her bearing no ill will" he mused, swiping his tongue around his muzzle. Clearing his throat, he tilted his head back and voiced a loud-yet slightly rusty-howl. That done, he looked over at Vera. "Did you mange to catch anything?" he asked, letting her know he had not forgotten her fishing lesson.


Vera groaned, "Not yet grandfather" she admitted, flattening her ears when he frowned at her.
