Humming happily to himself Bernard crests the tree-line of the Phantomhive Estate, looking to the hill he doesn't see Orchid or Valek "Must of gotten tired" he thought and proceeded to the front porch passing by Ollie and Jason who were reading their books, he tapped his materials case exclaiming "Good haul today, I'm off to process these goods." As he entered the manor the sound of a bell could be heard throughout followed by a slight rumbling from below "Looks like Clyde's got another one" he said excitedly "Pleases let it be harvestable." Quickly dumping off his supplies in his workshop, Bernard grabs what looks like a set of blades and tougher looking containers and heads towards the basement with a jump to his step. Clydes summoning bell is similar to a dinner bell for Bernard.

Valek took Orchid on his back and ran through the snow back toward the house. When they got back he rushed her upstairs to her room. He laid her down on her bed so she could fix her leg. He grabbed everything she would need, he put his hand on his back where the tree branch had been when he took his hand away it was covered in blood. He could feel himself growing weak he needed to heal himself. He went into his room and grabbed a small bottle full of black liquid. It was one of the potions he had left over from the witch who summoned him when he first came to this world, it would accelerate his bodies healing but it only worked on demons. As he walked back into her room with it he felt the room spin and the he hit the floor and passed out. FireMaiden FireMaiden

she saw Valek go flying past her so she went up to orchids room to see orchid injured, her mothers instinct kicking in she examined it "you really hurt it this time huh kiddo" she lightly teased as she dressed and bandaged the wound then set off to retreive her own caulron and potion book then she set out to find bernard, finding him quickly due to her near sprint "bernard, I need your help with a healing potion, orchid hurt her ankle" she explained urgency in her tone

As soon as they entered the mansion, she heard the familiar bell from the basement. Clyde was summoning again, which meant there could be some unforeseen drama at any point. Anyway, she wasn't focused on her own injury, but on Valek's. He had explained to her in the past that whole in the human world, he had to eat, drink, sleep in order to survive. He could also get hurt, and her ankle was nothing more than a cut. A somewhat nasty one, but a fun non the less. As soon as she got her bed, she began to remove the makeshift splint that Valek had made for her, before Ollie came in as Valek left, dressing her wound. She quietly thanked Ollie before she left, happy with her now bandaged foot. She sat there for a few moments alone, before Valek returned. She was going to ask him if he was okay, but...he collapsed. Immdeiatly she was on her feet, rushing to his side. "Valek you absolute idiot!" She fussed, before checking his head. He hasn't hit it to hard, and since he had probably gone to get that potion stuff, so he would be healing. Orchid just couldn't leave him on the floor though, so she began to move him. Linking her arms up under his shoulders, she slowly pulled him over to the edge of her bed, setting him up against her bed. She then put one of his arms around her shoulder, straining a hit as she lifted him up quickly, falling backwards so he was on the bed. After that, she stood up, climbing back up onto her bed to pull him up, and managed to move him around so he'd be more comfortable. Afterwards, she sighed, taking a seat on the edge of her bed.

As he was walking towards the basement examining his harvesting blades Bernard is stopped by Ollie "Bernard, I need your help with a healing potion, orchid hurt her ankle". "Oh that girl just doesn't know how to play with caution" he said with slight concern in his voice "Alright Ollie calm down I'll go grab my medical supplies and check on her first it will take a few minutes to make a potion anyway." Returning to his workstation he puts away his blades and picks up a red and white bag taking a few extra seconds to make sure he's not missing anything Bernard jogs to Orchids' room. Knocking 3 times he enters the room and stands beside Orchids bed "Well my little winter flower, it seems you got yourself into some trouble" he places his bag on the end of the bed and moves to examine her ankle slightly twisting and squeezing it "Well its not broken" looking up toward Orchid he smiles "You're going to be fine sweetheart". he dips a hand into his bag a pulls out small vial with a bright blue liquid in it "This should help with the pain." Spotting Valek for the first time Bernard sees the stain of blood on his clothes "Oh well that just won't do" after examining the wound he pulls out some kind of leaf and pops it into his mouth, after a few moments of chewing he takes the wad and stuffs it into Valeks wound. After dressing that wound Bernard pulls out another small vial with a clear liquid in it, this vial has a needle on one end, "Alright big man time to wake up" he says as he stabs the syringe into Valeks neck.

Clyde sat upon a regal-looking chair facing the circle in the center of his study, one hand upon his forehead in an attempt to rub away stress. Removing that hand from his head, he waved it dismissively, the bell slowly beginning to move back and forth again, tolling with a siren's wail meant to draw unsuspecting creatures to their doom, or should they prove more sentient than not, a passing inconvenience. "I suppose an incantation isn't necessary today. The realms are closer together than usual." He stated, motioning for Willow to come to his side, which the nimble fairy did in a heartbeat. Clearing the room in an instant, she sat on his shoulder in a lounging fashion, leaning against his head and neck with outstretched legs the length of his shoulder, an arm extended upwards as she stretched. "Feeling drained, dearest? If you desire stamina, you need but to ask it." She whispered into Clyde's ear, Clyde responding with an almost playful scoff. "We've been together a long time, and I've told you a million times. You needn't worry about me." He said, his tone being assertive, with the slightest hint of something more to it. "That said, we need a cage of some kind. We can keep our catch in the circle for a millennia, but it isn't any use in there. Come." Clyde said as he stood from his chair and moved to leave the room. He and Willow both knew that whatever was drawn into that circle couldn't escape it, especially not without an incantation.

Raising his hand to the door, though not to a handle, the wood glowed brightly for but a moment before dimming and swinging wide open. The door itself didn't actually seem to have any sort of implement intended to open it by standard means at all, instead relying upon a ward meant to react to a specific outpour of magic. Stepping through the door, it quietly swung to close itself behind him, willow having adjusted herself to sitting cross-legged, holding onto the fabric of his coat for extra stability. Making his way through the seemingly labyrinthine structure of the basement, Clyde found himself heading up a flight of stairs, emerging from an unassuming door along a stretch of hall upon the first floor. Willow perked up some as she heard what seemed to be a confusing mess of sounds coming from upstairs. "Our quarry lies upstairs it would appear." She quipped at the manner in which Clyde was searching. He didn't reply, merely walking towards the main hall such that he could head to the second floor. Reaching the way up, he in fact went up, drawing closer and closer to the scene playing out in Orchid's room.

"Oh well that just won't do" "Valek you absolute idiot!" Clyde heard Bernard claim, and Orchid chastise, himself reaching the door and standing in the open doorway, his size nearly encompassing the entire thing. From his position he could see Ollie, Bernard, the lady Orchid, and someone lying on the bed bleeding beside Orchid. Upon closer inspection, that someone turned out to be a something. The demon Valek. Resisting the urge to draw his sword and begone with the mongrel, who seemed to be receiving some kind of medical attention from Bernard, he took a step into the room. "And what happened here? I'm not to assume you've finally decided to put down that hellspawn, am I?" He asked, Willow slapping his shoulder and looking towards him. "Don't be so rude, dear!" She exclaimed in her most stern voice, which wasn't all that stern.

-Edit: corrected that Valek was on the bed rather than the floor-

"Bernard, I'm fine," Orchid told him, "It's just a cut." She didn't like the fact everyone was crowding in her room. It was a little too much, not much room to breathe. Orchid didn't like it. She could only watch as Bernard stuck something to Valek, and then..."No! Don't do that, he'll wake up on his own! The person who summoned him here had potion that would help heal him, but it needs time to work," she stated as Bernard stuck a syringe in Valek's neck. Nobody seemed to know how to give him time, and everyone treated her like a child. She wasn't, she most certainly wasn't a child. But, she only sighed. "I'm going to have to wash my bed sheets," She mumbled, growing around to the other side where nobody was saying so she could have a little space. She could take her eyes off Valek though, Orchid was worried about him, she hated seeing him get hurt. All because of that stupid witch he was here, but...maybe she was thankful for that. With out that vile woman, she would know him. With a small sigh, she relaxed a little, wondering if whatever Bernard gave him would wake him up. Humans and demons were very different after all. Her eyes didn't leave him, until another voice joined the fray. Clyde. Now, she didn't have a problem with Clyde, in fact she admired him for his skill, and she found Willow to be adorable. But he had a problem with Valek. "No! I would never do such a horrid thing," Orchid told him, "We were outside sleding and we sorta hit a tree. He got hurt keeping me from getting injured worse than just a cut on my ankle."

Abby sighed as she leaned against one of the trees outside the estate, flipping through her notebook. Each page contained various diagrams and notes revolving around rituals that she's performed. Some had stars on the pages while others had large scribbles and a mention of a rework on a different page. The notebook wasn't necessary, given she had a mostly decent memory. However, she tended to memorize the failed rituals, so the notes mentioning reworks were necessary for when she checked. "Maybe I should work on more winter-related things." She huffed out loud, only for that huff to be returned with a snort. "Nothing you did, Jinx. Just ritual things revolving around snow." The word 'snow' came off her tongue in distaste. Of all the seasons, winter was Abby's least favorite.

The jet black stallion snorted again and nudged the tip of her notebook, forcing her to look at him. "I know you LOVE the snow, Jinx, but I don't. Go play, okay? And then I'll think about taking you into town." For a moment, the horse listened to her. He started of by trotting away from her with his head close to the ground and nose barely touching the snow. Once he raised his head, that trot turned into a wild gallop, filled with jumping and kicking as he circled the area. Even while wet, the feathers that just about covered his hooves still looked beautiful when he ran, and Abby took a moment away from her notes to appreciate that. When he noticed her watching, he trotted over to her with his head held high and his ears straight up. "Alright, Mr. Fancy Hooves, my notes can wait. But if we're going into town, you have to wear your tack." In response, the horse lied down on the ground and rolled in the snow, as if throwing a tantrum.

Abby rolled her eyes and knelt down beside the stallion, gently scratching his side as he lay there, huffing. "You're a horse, not a baby. Now, you know those aren't my rules. You have to wear at least a harness and a lead to go into town. I know you hate being 'leashed', but those are the rules." Jinx lifted his head as if he were listening to her, but ended up grabbing her notebook and standing while shaking the snow out of his coat. "Hey! Jinx! ¡Déjalo! Drop it!" The stallion shook his head from side to side and trotted in a circle as Abby chased after him, screaming for him to drop the notebook and eventually tripping over her own feet. Before long, he took off running, and Abby didn't have the energy to follow him very far. "You're in big trouble once I find you, you understand!" Her final shout was pointless. She knew he couldn't have gone far, but by the time she could've found him, he would've already ditched the notebook somewhere. For now, all she could do was wait until he returned to her so she could convince him to show her where he ditched notebook.

Pushing herself up from the ground, Abby sighed and brushed the snow off of herself and head back towards the rear door of the estate. Upon entering, she quickly removed her boots and tossed them aside onto the absorbent rug she had bought the previous winter. Of course, it rarely saw much use, but it was nice to have. "Hey, I'm heading out later to run errands. Now is a great time to make lists!" She called out loud enough for everyone to hear, though in her gut, a part of her felt like no one really heard her at all. With a loud, agitated groan, Abby made her way up the stairs and wandered the hallway until she found everyone gathered in Orchid's room. As she pushed past Clyde, she examined the room, noticing Valek bleeding out on the bed as well as Orchid moving to another side of the room. "What happened here?" Abby spoke in a stern voice, taking in the amount of blood. "I can take care of the sheets later if you'd like, once everyone's okay. For now, I'd like an explanation and the room cleared!"

Valek was having a horrible nightmare while he was out cold he dreamed of when he first came to this world of the witch who summoned him. He saw the witch she was yelling at him saying that he had broken his vow she kept saying it over and over so he tried to run. He wandered for what seemed like years everything covered in darkness the words of the witch echoing over and over. Then he heard another voice calling to him faintly at first then louder. He saw a light and thought it was the end. "Died to a tree what a way to go" he thought to himself. As he walked into the light it wasn't what he thought he found himself in Orchid old home watching her nurse him back to health. He saw every memory he had of his time with Orchid come flooding back. They last memory he saw was of them making their deal he vowed to serve her till his end. "I have to get back to her, she needs me and i need her." He sprung upright and looked around seeing everyone there looking at him. He looked at Clyde "Don't worry your not getting rid of me that easy old man." Then he looked at Orchid. He grabbed her and hugged her. "I made a promise to not let any harm come to you even the little things but i could not fufill that today and for that i am sorry." Ollie had made some tea for the two of them to help them relax, pouring the fresh tea into cups and bringing it to them, knocking gently on the door "may I come in?" she called softly waiting for a reply

"Thank you very much sir!" She walked out of the house. Smiling again, she walked in the opposite direction that Otis had directed her to. "This one's got the town under his thumb. This should be interesting," she muttered to herself.

She walked for a while before finding what she recognized to be Phantomhive Manor. She knew that if anyone knew where Bernard was, they would. She made her way up to the door and knocked hard enough to be heard throughout the house.

Ollie heard the door and set the tea down on the nearest shelf then hurried downstairs and through the hall to the main entrance, she opened the door and happily greeted the woman "hello, Im Ollie Phantomhive, How may I help you?" Ollie asked the woman kindly secretly flicking her wand causing all witch items to become invisable to her eyes as she did with all human visitors to maintain their secret

Another person stepped into her room Abbey this time. Who proceeded to tell everyone to get out, which was, well, "An angel," Orchid muttered, relieved, though nobody seemed to listen. At least, right away. Anyway, her attention quickly went back to Valek, as he seemed to be having a nightmare...she didn't like that, it wasn't fair. Why did he have to get hurt? Why was everyone making a huge deal out of it? Why could they all just leave? Her room was supposed to be her space, not theirs, her's. Nobody woul-something warm pulled her in for a hug, jolting her put of her thoughts. "Valek!" She chirped, almost instantly hugging him back. "Geez, you're such a dumbbutt! A little cut like this isn't the end of the world, you got hurt way worse than I did." Looking past him to everyone in her room still, just in time to see Ollie step out again, she kinda smiled, "You all can leave now...and Abbey, I'd love to go with you, but would you mind waiting just a little bit? I should probably change." Orchid was still hugging Valek.

Valek let go of Orchid and looked at her. "Orchid there's something i need to say and it will be hard but the witch that summonded me stiuck me in this body so that i could not kill her but now. i have to leave you for a little bit i realize that this human body is not going to be able to protect you it limits my magical abilities and is too easly wounded i must go and try to reclaime my power." He stood up and walked into his room and packed a bag with food, water and everything needed to perform the ritual. "i would stay but performing this ritual here is too dangerous and i cannot put you at risk if another demon were to slip through i am afraid i could not protect you." FireMaiden FireMaiden

Hungrily awaiting Clydes reponse Bernard hears Ollie call for him "Bernard, Someones here for you!" putting a hand on Clydes shoulder "We'll talk later" he said in disappointment and heads towards the front entrance. "Thank you Ollie" he said reaching the foyer and slipping Cheezers into a pocket, he looks towards the woman who stands outside "Bernard Trevisan at your service, now what can I do for you madame?"

Ollie stepped away from the door and went back about her buisness , humming to herself quietly as she walked away.

Laurel was surprised on how smoothly everything was going, but the hard part was yet to come. She smiled at the man in front of her. "Hello, yes. My name is Ashe Willows." She pulled out a fake detective's ID. "I am from the police department. I am here to search your house of clues as to why one of your... friends has died. I do not suspect you, I am simply looking for letters or messages from them for any clues as to why they did it. If you would come with me?"

“If this person truly was one of my friends then why can’t you tell me? Wouldn’t I be able to assist you more if I know what happened?” As Bernard is saying this he steps out of the manor and closes the door behind him. “I’ll try to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability detective, but I don’t know how much help I can be.”
