@CloudyBlueDay Basically, they're expected to finish up the business first and be as efficient as they can. After that, they can take the rest of the day to do whatever they want- visit, chill, etc. People whose families are farther away can take a few days leave to travel, in a group if possible (more for security than anything else). People with spouses and kids usually just bring 'em up to the compound to raise.

Probably about two months. The journey isn't too arduous, so they can make it with relative frequency in the milder weather, but the winter makes it hard.
