It really is, though maybe my 28 years isn't enough life experience. But from what I've seen, even people with several decades behind them kinda just do the best the can. At no point is there a "click" where you know what to do as an adult.

I just realized that when I describe characters' movements and gestures and facial expressions, I tend to model them over and over until I get the right words for them.
