Bio: Emberly was born into royalty, becoming queen at the age of 182 when her father passed. She has been taught to rule practically since birth and doesn't really know how to be anything but a queen. She is a wise and trusted ruler well loved by her kingdom and feared by her enemies. Emberly’s husband was slain in battle and believing him to be her soul mate she chose not to find another. With her large court she rarely finds herself lonely and often spends her free time with her best friend Kalora, a traveling bard. Emberly loves to listen to tales of Kalora's adventures as she can't leave her kingdom to have any herself. She has a sweet tooth, and especially enjoys trying new desserts the palace chef comes up with. She loves to run in both cheetah form and her human form and is extremely fast. Because she was born on the night of a full moon her father used to call her Luna when she was young.

Bio: Novah is quite young as far as shifters go; she is smart and working on becoming one of the village healers. Much knowledge of plants, herbs, and potions is needed to do this and while she’s not perfect Novah is doing a great job. Her mother was a Sea Spirit and her father a Sky Spirit and as a result she is close to both Spirits but more so the Sky. Novah is best friends with the Prince and she hopes to one day be part of the Queen’s royal court, maybe even the personal Healer of the Crown. Because of her job as apprentice healer she also knows a great deal about poisons.

Other: Novah loves to soar through the sky in eagle form and climb high in the trees when human. The term “eagle eye” definitely applies to her as she can easily spot herbs and plants from high in the sky. She thought of becoming a scout for the queen but her mother hated the idea of her being in danger so she decided to use her abilities for healing instead. Because she is still young she lives at home with her mother and father but has a room at the palace in case she is needed there.

Bio: Scarlett is a high school student, who loves art. She spends her free time sketching and painting. She is also co-captain of the cheerleading squad. She is kind hearted and not a fan of school cliques, preferring to hang out with her best friends most of the time. Her parents are lawyers and well off, it was her boat that the kids were partying on.

Other: Scarlett has had a few boyfriends in the past but has never been in love before. She has an adventurous side and loves to have fun.​

She has more than proved her worth, not only showing talent at the basics, but also having a knack for creating beautiful weapons treasured by the guard and finer jewerly that many on the Royal Court enjoy. She can make almost anything with the right amount of focus. Her master will soon retire, leaving the forge to her.

Damian was born into this world with two guard parents, he was the only male born, his other two siblings were females, whome died during the harsh winter. His mother was able to shift into a black panther, while his father was one of the only known within the land who was able to shift into a massive wolf, far larger than any natural wolf. Damian'a fathere trained him mercilessly, forcing his only son to follow in his footsteps. After his father became ill and died, Damian took his place as the largest wolf shifter in the land.


Damian's quiet, and attractive nature is what promoted him to his rank. He is handsome, and quite intelligent. He finds it easier to be alone, than to be with others, as he may harm them without such intentions. He has an edge to him, his crimson eyes holding an alluring gaze, yet a feared one as well. It's smart to remain cautious around Damian.


Other: His aunt(now deceased) was a shaman, she is the one who stained his body with black ink as his rank rose. The ink is symbolism of his authority.

  Dysis has an...interesting personality. A disarray of various things, all transformed into one. Most often, to everyone's displeasure, she is immature. The one that has to make that one joke at the wrong time. Sarcastic, has to combat most things in that manner no matter the situation. And somewhat emotionless, rarely you will ever see Dysis have fits of rage, or misery without a good reason. But, this doesn't mean that she is unable to show fear, because trust me, she can. More antisocial than others, not wanted to get involved with unnecessary social interactions, yet Dysis isn't a loner. Once she has warmed up to one you will be sure to have numerous discussions on diverse topics. All of these make her harder to "Get used to" than most people. Learning how to deal with Dysis is a taxing process, although more than one person has succeeded in this.
  
  
  Now, when called upon, Dysis can somewhat become an opposite of herself. She is exceedingly intellectual. A great joy of her's is to solve problems of assorted degrees and to test her mental ability. Serious, yes it is possible for Dysis to become quite pensive in certain situations. Taking the utmost precaution even when doing the slightest action. A very rare sight is to see her become emotional with not a single justification. It does happen, if one were to see this that is, then you are of the very few.

  Dysis had an interesting childhood. Yet, she never planned to get on the boat in the first place. Let me explain:
  
  
  Dysis had been driving with her younger brother and they had been arguing. It had gotten quite heated when Dysis took her eyes off the road to scream at him some more. But when she turned back, it was a moment too late. The Truck that had somehow gotten into their lane hit them head on. The impact caused Dysis to fall unconscious.
  
  
  Later, awakening in the hospital only to realize that her brother had been killed. And, to worsen the blow, her right hand hand to be amputated. In the months that had followed, Dysis had been simmering in guilt, grief, pain, and various other emotions. Needing to get away from her family, she had left not in the middle of the night, but during the day. As soon as everyone in the house was up and doing whatever it is that they do, Dysis got up and left in front of all of them without uttering a single word. Normally this wouldn't be uncommon as she usually went out during the day. Yet, when she hadn't returned that evening. Her family went ballistic. Dysis, roaming the streets had been out for a few hours before dusk when she was nearly ran over by a car. The car looked expensive, and she didn't want to deal with some spoiled brat that would threaten to sue her for "Almost breaking her daddy's car". Dysis muttered some things under her breath and kept walking until she heard the car door open and footsteps to follow, and before she knew it, there was a hand on her shoulder. Going stiff, she whipped around, glaring at whoever was touching her. My the looks of it, it was a girl around the same age as her, and though she wasn't intoxicated, the scent of it was thick upon her. While she tried not to gag, Dysis though that she was familiar, and she was. It was that co-captain of the cheer leading squad. Bloody lovely.
  
  
  She took a few moments to apologies for her reckless driving and what not, then asked if she wanted to join them. A. Having no where else to go to and B. Not wanting to look like an impolite ass, Dysis agreed and followed her into the vehicle. They drove in silence, thank god for that. She kept her claw (Prosthetic right hand, see next tab) hidden in the pocket of her hoodie, not wanting to relive that conversation once more. Arriving at the docks, she saw a boat with already quite a few people on board. Getting out Dysis regretted every step.

Bio: She can't remember the faces of her parents, but she can remember the face of the old crone that took her in. Known to her only as Grams, this loving figure used whatever mysterious connection she had to get Elizabeth (Nickname is Numi) a job among the Queen's Guards as a scout. Grams has since passed away, but Numi has proven herself just as capable as Grams said she would be. Now a high ranked scout she is seldom used, and spends her time foraging.

Bio: Lila grew up in your typical suburb. There was almost no crime. The police would arrive minuets after you called. When she was little the kids in her neighborhood would play together, and grew up together. They all ended up going to school together. She lived out a picture perfect life, until she turned 13. There was an abandoned house a few streets down, and she snuck out of the house and headed down there with a few other kids from her street. When they got there, they had her go first, to test out the floors, as she was the smallest and lightest of the group. She eventually stepped on a weak floor board, and fell through to the first floor. She hit her head hard as she went down, and was knocked unconscious. The others left her over night, afraid of what their parents would say or do. She woke up in the morning and went back to her house. Her parents found out what had happened, and forbid her to go anywhere without them knowing where she was. She got very very tired of this, and at 15 started drinking, and drinking a lot. Her parents got extremly angry, do she ran away. She had been staying with a friend who took her to the party that ended with her face down in the sand.

Zero was born into a wealthy family known as the Cawthorne family. As soon as he was born, his family deemed him a 'curse' or the 'corrupted child' because of the way he looked. Everyone else in his family was perfect and beautiful in their own ways, but he was a different story. Instead of giving him a proper name, they simply named him Zero as if he were just a thing, and not a person. He was never allowed to go outside, or be seen, and due to this, Zero is very unsociable and has no idea how to interact with others. If it wasn't for his sister, Zero would have been a lost cause.

She was the only one who truly saw through his appearance. Nathalia cared for him and loved him like no other could, and gently guided him to a better life. Although their parents disapproved of Nathalia's behavior around her younger brother, they finally allowed him to leave their home after 10 years of remaining inside the castle walls. Together, Zero and his older sister traveled the lands together, until their return home 3 years later.


Other


Zero is very much blind, like a bat, and relies on echolocation to get around. His hearing comprehension and sight are intensified by 20 compared to a normal human being, making it almost impossible to sneak up on him or escape his hearing range.


Also, when Zero in his bat form, he becomes a bloodthirsty monster. Based off of the actual Vampire Bat, he hungers for the blood of cows and other farm animals. He will often leave in the middle of the night in search of his food so he does not starve.

Name: Kalora Mareneth


Description:


Kalora has deep green eyes when she's in her human form, and has pointed ears similar to an elf. Her build is rather petite, being only 5'3" tall and very slim. But do not let this underestimate her strenght and speed.


She has silvery gray hair, with darker grey stripes running through it. When tied together in a ponytail or braid, as she usually carries her hair, it reaches to her waist. Kalora prefers simple but stylish clothes that give her a lot of freedom in her movement.


Animal (Shifters only):


In her animal form, Kalora's eye color changes to an almost illuminating amber. Her form is that of a small but quite intimidating silvery white wolf.

Position or Job (Shifters): When not really working, Kalora wanders around as a bard. This is also the job she is known for in most circles. Only few people, under which the Queen, know of her true position as Spymaster. This does make sense, as she's basically the Queen's personal spy and very close friend.


Bio: As a child, she was exiled from her tribe for reasons she rather keeps to herself. She has travelled the world as a bard for several years until she accidentally got caught up in a spy network. Here, her talents were noticed, and she quickly worked her way up in their ranks, even making it to the courts Spymaster when she was, compared to a human, 16. Since the difference in age between her and the Queen wasn't all that big, they quickly became friends. Kalora loved telling her stories she picked up as a bard, and she still does love to tell the queen all interesting stories and news she picks up whilst traveling. Of course sometimes she has to bring the Queen less pleasant news from time to time, for example when certain lords are plotting against her in different parts of the kingdom.

Kai is rather tall for a woman, standing at 6'2", and has physical strength to match her imposing stature. Like many of her tribe, she tends to wear rather sparse clothing, mostly made up of animal skins. The only armor she wears is a single, clawed gauntlet.

Kai's above-average stature seems to carry over to her shark form, with a length of roughly 13 feet.

Bio:

Kaimana is not actually native to Whisper, hailing instead from a small island chain nearby known as the Scyllan Islands. These islands have long been home to a variety of dangerous monsters, making much of their area uninhabited and uncharted. The exception is the coasts, where several tribes of shifters make their home away from the monster-infested inland. Due to her animal form, Kai was raised as a fisher from an early age, helping provide food for the tribe with her spear and with her teeth. As she grew older, her physical strength and aggressive nature allowed her to be selected as a forager, one of the few members of the tribe who ventured into the islands interior, bringing back valuable herbs and fresh water, and even hunting the beasts within.

However, about 40 years ago, things began to change on her home island. Attacks on the shifters living there by monsters began to become more frequent, and occurring closer and closer to the coasts. It soon became clear that the native beasts were moving outland, driven possibly driven by a lack of food. Whatever the reason, it was soon decided that remaining on the island was a death sentence for the tribe. Over the course of a month, the island's people uprooted their homes and took to the sea, eventually making landfall in the Whisper Wood. In exchange for pledging loyalty to the kingdom, the Scyllans were allowed to settle in Whisper. Since then, they have mostly integrated into Whisper's population, though they still cling strongly to their traditions, earning them a reputation for their connection to the sea.

Kaimana herself performs essentially the same jobs she did in her native home, fishing the waters of the coast and selling her catch. She's also regularly hired by hunting parties and sometimes ship captains.

Other:

Kaimana favors a large, hooked sword as a weapon, though naturally she's quite adept with a trident or harpoon. Her sword and gauntlet are actually made of a kind of coral native to the Scyllan Islands, which is comparable in strength to steel, while being much lighter.

"My, aren't you inquisitive." | Kael is one of five children born into Elven royalty, being the youngest of three boys. His mother was a Daemon who had illegal relations with the Elven king and was hung by her own people soon after his birth. Despite his illegitimate background, his family loved him as if he were a true Saevrine -on exception of the bitter queen. However, considering he was born out of legal binding, his campaign for the throne was never a sure thing. That being said, he didn't want to wait for a possible rejection and decided to find jobs outside of the castle boundaries, and eventually landed a job at a fishing district. He hunted in the neighboring forests or fished alongside the fishermen for the merchants who weren't able-bodied in exchange for money. But those transactions didn't last long; after the locals found out about his background, he was no longer allowed to work in the area. His second eldest brother, Cyprus, found out about his unemployment and offered him a temporary job as his personal guard. Of course, having known very little about swordsmanship, Kael was a bit skeptic but accepted nonetheless. Years later, he'd mastered the art of combat and was given a full-time position as Head Guardsman under his brother's hire and was offered to sail to Whisper Wood to accompany his brother on a mission to recruit Queen Emberly for a spot on the Royal Council of the Empyrean Nations [RCEN: A council of the 8 allied kingdoms, excluding Whisper Wood]. Before they could reach the shifter kingdom, their ship was attacked by men in pitch black armour and he was the only one who survived; as far as he knows. Now, injured and with warning, Kael is traveling to the castle to speak with the Queen.
