Ok I’ve at least finished his past so we can discuss where and when they would have crossed paths. He retired 17 years ago though so it looks like it will be The dad he interacted with…unless we have his dad ask Reggie to help with training, he is the foremost expert on traps and tracking so having him train the son of a Chivalrian would make sense…not only that it could be the financial boost Reggie would need to open his tavern all those years ago as taverns ain’t cheep.
I see where your going with that, but Chivalrians are fairly stubborn when it comes to combat. The eschew magic and most technologies that they don’t see as “honorable” and pretty much poor most of their power into mighty, armored knights. Plus, Osmont and Robert have a... rocky relationship.

I’d prefer if Osmont and Reggie were partners in the monster hunting business, or like members on the same adventuring party. They know of and respect eachother despite their differences. Reggie would probably see Osmont as a strong and skilled blade to have at your back and shield at your front and find him as insufferable and arrogant as any other Chivalrian knight, which makes roberts attitudes pretty odd.

That sounds good as well. And I see no issues with canon material.

*loads stamp of approval into a .50 BMG.*

I'm very much approaching this in a dark souls type of mentality. That idea that every character eventually falls out of the story and faces the end, or the inevitability of that. Sir Robert-Louis will be very much like that, atleast, because while I know this quest is to escape the city and Sir Robert-Louis is more than happy to help, he has no choice but to find and strike down this "god" of madness within the city. As a knight, he cannot simply run away, not when he can do something. Sure, he'll probably die... but so did King Henri-Ames when he led the great charge into the giant host to buy time, so did the old Lords of Chivalria when they fought to the last as their noble kingdom was burnt to ashes by the dragons, so too did the templars of the Order of Dames know when they died leading the vanguard in vanquishing the vampire lord during the last calamity. Every calamity has had the noble knights of Chivalria sacrificing themselves for honor and victory. So, I suppose Sir Robert-Louis, Questing Knight will simply have to fill the shoes of those knights before him alone.

ok finally had the time to finish Tyrs backstory
So Tyr is done unless our dear GM says otherwise.
