Carter smiled and pursed her lips. She looked between the two girls and then pointed at Melody. "I like her" She grinned holding up the dress again. "I guess you wouldn't get it blondey, all they guys throwing themselves at you. I don't plan to go with anyone, but I do plan to leave with someone." She still wanted to find the dress she had come here searching for. "Not too into the whole serious relationship thing" Okay, that was kind of a lie. She just wanted to find her person, and they hadn't shown up yet, or they happened to into someone else. "I'm Carter by the way, its nice to meet you Melody." She looked around the store, seeing her dress hanging on a manikin. "There it is! That's the dress I came here for" As she ran across the room to grab it off the hanger. "Who's coming with me to tell me how amazing I look?" She looked bak over at the girls, even though she had come to avoid the crowds, they were already here and she could use a second or third opinion.

~ Phoenix Wilson ~

Phoenix made the drive fun, every single time he drove someone in his car it was a karaoke party and then some, rocking out to the best songs of every era even though his personal favorite were the 80s, there was something about all that big hair that enamored the red haired boy. He shot a text to Raelynn, telling Grace and June all about this awesome girl he gave a make ovee to just cause he spilled a unicorn frap on her, “Get in loser we’re going shopping.” He practically carried Raelynn to the car and shoved her in. He crusaded and fought for parking at the mall, it was his speciality of course with minimal curses and rude gestures used. “Let’s go girl.” He was like some strange tour guide but he spent so much time in the mall as a young teen so he knew the best places to go, the discounts you could get, and most of long time mall employees knew exactly who he was. “I have no idea what you got in mind Grace but it ought to be...” His baby blue eyes were strangely intense as he studied her body and figure, his eye for fashion was like Gianni Versace, “It’s got to be green, almost emerald but I think a pale mint green would work to as long as you have the shoes for it.” He was grinning, helping people pick out clothes was his life, “Now you..” Phoenix turned and looked at June, he contemplated for a long minute, “something long sleeve with a little bit of lace...what color though.” His face was serious then went bright, “Red... a bold red, like a deep wine...” He was already diving into the store and the racks, up to his elbows in gowns and dresses. “Raelynn... what color for you... Purple probably.”

~ Hajar Giles ~

Hajar liked the nights in the city, she always wish the days could be just like the nights with people going out clubbing or dancing, finding fun things to do in the worst looking places. She was weaving in and out of traffic with ease, laughing like the wicked witch of the west when drivers honked and beeped at her. She made quick time getting over to the stadium but she didn’t go in, she decided she would just wait on Ryan to come out so she parked next to Michelle and waited on him, for the game to end. It was nice tonight so she let her mind and her day dreams run free, thinking about her childhood memories deep in east end where the worst looking shopkeepers were some of the nicest and the posh looking executives treated you like trash just cause you came form East End. Would she do it all over again? Even though it meant knowing she was sold as a baby and used as a slave for almost her whole life. She smiled, hell yeah she’d do it again. “Wanna race loser?” Her text to Ryan was simple but it was a challenge no one could resist, especially Ryan Maxwellso she bided her time and waited, leaning down across the handles of her motorbike as she waited for his tall figure to come out of the doors.

“Come on... come on.. you’re a big kid now, you can do it.” Shiloh was sitting on his bed, staring at his phone, staring at Eli’s contact information with big nervous blue eyes. He was having a bad night, a bad mental health day so he decided that a friend could help with that but getting over the anxiety of calling someone was pretty damn hard. Finally, he decided on a text, “Hey Eli... it’s Shiloh, what’re you up to? I was wondering if you’d like to come over to the park with me and Dolly” He pressed sent then panicked, “Oh uh Dolly is my dog, not a person...” He gave Dolly a pat and sighed, staring at phone as he waited anxiously for a text back.

Sawyer
After a very successful hockey game, Sawyer was carted back to the house in her father's pickup truck. Oliver was silent for a while but she could tell by the way he was tapping his hand on the wheel that he was itching to tell her something. She could probably guess what it was but she asked him anyway.

"What is it?" She raised and eyebrow inquisitivly. Her father turned his head and smiled at her for a brief moment.

"I saw your little point you did at Grace." His smiled warmed, "You know I used to do something like that at your mother at my baseball games before every bat." His eyes flashed as if remembering those moments in his past and they clouded over a bit. Sawyer frowned at him and reached out to pat his shoulder. Oliver just reached over and grabbed it, sucking in a breath through his nose.

"I wish you could've known her." He glanced over at her, "It's funny, you look almost exactly like her but you remind me of me when I was younger. Like a perfect mix of the both of us." He sighed, and released Sawyer's hand as he turned into their driveway.

This wasn't the first time Oliver had reminisced to his daughter about her mother but every time it left her feeling a little sad. Now, as a freshly showered Sawyer she plopped down onto her bed she tried to think of something she could do to get her mind off of it. Dress shopping. Sawyer remembered Grace extending a probably not very expecting invitation but she felt like being with her girlfriend at the moment. Dress shopping it was.

Sawyer pulled up to the mall a few minutes later, parking her car next to the most ridiculously gay looking car she'd ever seen in her life, which she assumed was Phoenix's. She awkwardly walked around the mall for a but until she spotted the girl she was looking for through a store window. A grin formed on her face at the sight of Grace and she sauntered up next to her and the rest of the group gathered around them. Phoenix looked very invested in plunging through dress racks and Sawyer laughed at him a little, shoving her hands in her pockets and glancing around feeling a bit out of place.

"Well, isn't this place just....adorable or whatever."

"I can do purple!" She was actually excited for shopping, she had never been excited to shop before. This was the happiest she had been since moving. "Thank you so much for inviting me Kerry, its so great to meet all of you guys" She looked at the two girls they had just picked up, was she actually, smiling. She then saw another blonde walking towards them. She was already out of her comfort zone surrounded by all new people. Adding another one started to cause her to shut down, she started staring at the rack and slowly looking through them. How was she supposed to handle homecoming if she couldn't handle this.

Grace
tumblr_inline_p1oan1r6wQ1rifr4k_540.gif
Grace was fairly quiet in the car, agreeing with the color green for a dress, she didn't really agree.. but. Once they got there She wasn't feeling really upbeat at moment due to her interaction with her mother earlier, Giving a small wave to Ash, as they entered. Her mood was brightened by Sawyer showing up, she raised her eyebrows in surprise, but gave her weak smile to Sawyer in greeting. Watching as Phoenix seemed to be in his natural habitat. "Nice to meet you too." She said to Rae. Might've been sort of odd for her to go shopping with a bunch of strangers. Why not be friendly?

"Right, so let's get looking for dresses.. Yay." She tried to be enthusiastic, Grace thought it was pretty convincing. Looking through the racks. Quickly finding a dress and going into one of the changing rooms to try it on.

June
June already felt like this could be a bad idea. She said nothing about hearing Grace and her mother fighting. She wasn’t sure how they operated before she came here, so she assumed not butting her head into it was the best call. She liked Phoenix he was all over the place, but knew how to have a good time. Also, she loved singing in the car whenever and whoever.

Once there, she wondered if Raven will actually show up. She was nervous trying on dresses in front of her honestly. She started to wonder if she looked okay. But, being with others did help a little. She even met a new person named Raelynn, therefore she would know nothing about the blogs so that was neat.

She followed with the group, staring at the dresses and unconsciously looking at the sale sign. Then she saw how many girls were together shopping and made her heart flutter a bit. She was included once more. Just over the fact they all needed to look great for one night. She liked it. She looked at the red dresses, as per Phoenix’s recommendation, then looked over as Sawyer came. Good, at least Sawyer can make her feel better. She watched them look then her eyes drifted back to the rack trying to look for a red dress while also grabbing the price tag on them.

Raven

Raven sat in the passenger seat. "So.. you're gonna buy a dress?" Nancy asked curiously, Raven looked at her like she was crazy. "Are you kidding?!" She shook her head. "No, i'm not gonna waste money on homecoming. Besides i'm working on something anyway." Nancy furrowed her brows. "So.. if you're not buying a dress why are you going?" She asked.

"Someone asked me to." Raven told her, she wasn't going to turn down an invite. Getting out of the car, she spoke. "Thank you. Have fun at the park." She waved to her Grandmother and Nancy.

Raven wandered around the mall for a little while, before catching sight of a dress store. She walked eying all the girls apparently that were there, Hmph. New girls and old. Raven approached them. "Cheerleaders." She acknowledged them, "Non-cheerleaders." She grinned and clapped her hands together. "Let's get undressed and dressed shall we?" Catching the eye of a certain red-head and throwing her a wink.

Alaska

original.gif

While usually she would have refused to even think about putting on a dress, Alaska was high off her win and Drake's incredibly sweet homecoming proposal, so she put up less of a fight than usual when her best friend dragged her into the dress shop. Though she kept on her usual smirk, she was a little nervous to be around so many girls she didn't know. Girls tended to not like her, she either intimidated them or they looked down on her for her unlady-like behavior. The only girl friend she had was Nova, who hadn't been able to make it. Perhaps she could've considered Ash a friend, but things were still a little weird between them lately, so she kept a hand firmly on Drake's as they entered the shop, refusing to let him ditch her in such unfamiliar territory.

"I don't even know my size or what looks good on me..." She whined, suddenly anxious about the daunting task at hand. Alaska didn't know how to be pretty. If she wasn't in hockey gear she was in ripped jeans, her idea of dressing up was a leather mini skirt which inevitably ended up with liquor stains on it. This was something she was supposed to be doing with her mom and her girl friends, but she hadn't seen her mother in a week and she barely had friends, let alone close female friends.

It was a small relief to see Sawyer and Carter, at least she knew two somewhat friendly people, though she couldn't imagine her teammate in a dress. The dress Carter picked out caught her eye, it was pretty and she imagined it would look stunning against her red hair. "I think that'll look amazing," The brunette offered, giving her a smile before turning her attention to the endless racks of dresses. She had no idea where to begin and she regretted letting Drake talk her into this. Stupid best friend with his cute homecoming plans.

Ryan smiled, Raven had finally come to terms with the fact that Ryan didn't blame her for what had happened to him. "Good. Now about this Scoop." He said pulling out his pen. He wrote everything down, taking note of everything and everyone. He didn't know how he had seperated from Raven, but he did know that he felt his phone go off. He had opened it and smiled. Hajar had texted him. She wanted to race. Oh this was going to be fun. The game was over anyway so no one would mind if he dipped out. He slowly made his way out of the rink. He saw Hajar parked next to him. "What's up girl." He said as he climbed on his bike. "You wanna race. Alright, but Michelle isn't one to lose when it comes racing... Where are we racing to?" He said putting the helmet on his head.

Neck Tie

DnEQw7v.gif

Neck Tie started trailing after Mason without knowing where they were going. He didn’t dare ask, though, for fear of incurring the older boy’s wrath, so he just kept his mouth shut and followed humbly along the sidewalk.

As hopeless a dancer as he was, Neck Tie actually had some experience in a costume. But although he enjoyed nagging and cuddling and frightening people in his wolf skin, it was always hot and sweaty and sticky and itchy inside which wasn’t something he would wish on his worst enemies, not even on Mason. Still, he did owe it to the older boy after losing that bet on the football pitch. If being a baked potato for a week would get his name out of Mason’s black book, he’d gladly do it. Probably.

Suddenly, as they were making a turn in the street, Neck Tie was struck with a brilliant idea, which brightened him like a light bulb. 'Mason! What if I sold the pies in a costume!?’ he said, enthused, ‘That would be like. . . great marketing, right? Cor, we could make a lot of money! We could set up like a stand!’ He was sure Mason was going to love his idea.

Melody stood between the girls feeling awkward at the comment Carter made. As always Melody had to lighten the situation. "We are shopping for homecoming. This is supposed to a fun and chill day so we can look our best. By the way I'll go with you Carter!", she shouted before she spotted a pink latex dress and ripped it off the hanger. It was skin tight and would hardly hide anything she might not want anyone to see which meant she would probably have to start going to the gym more. Since moving away from her parents she barley had time to cook herself and decent meal and was eating out every day for a week. "Ash you need a dress too. What are looking for?"

"Boys don't throw themselves at me." She mumbled, mostly to herself, and furrowed her eyebrows as she looked back at the rows of dresses, gently touching a pink one that... was definitely not her size. Carter's words bothered Ash more than she would like to admit, but she didn't have long to dwell before Carter found a dress, and so did Melody. Well that had happened quickly. "I'm just going to look by myself for a bit. You two have fun trying the dresses on." She told Melody, smiling at her friend.

Ash then turned and started down the aisles, looking for dresses that would fit, and look good, and then just growing overwhelmed at the large amount of dresses. Dress shopping was something that Ash both loved, and hated. She loved to look at dresses and encourage other people to wear them but herself... not so much. Some little voice inside of her always told her that no matter what, she'd never look good in any of the dresses she chose, so this whole ordeal just kind of... sucked. So she pretty much just stood by the dresses, awkwardly flipping through them, unsure of what to do.

Her attention was briefly stolen by first Grace walking in, and she waved back at her best friend before returning her attention awkwardly to the dresses... until Raven came bursting in. Ash rolled her eyes at Raven's words, not bothering to even look in her direction.

At first, Mason was truly ready to tell Stu that his idea was stupid. But then... well, he realized that he could truly embarrass Stu, get rid of the pies that he'd agreed to sell, and make money all while sitting down. Now if that wasn't just the best get rich scheme you've ever heard, while, I don't know what is. At least, that's what Mason thought. Although, they would need a really good costume, and maybe Mason could just sell the pies by slice... yeah, no, that wouldn't work.

"Good thinking, kid. So, Drake's got some old Halloween costumes that you could use. But like, I don't know if you want to be a cat or a ninja." Mason wasn't sure the costumes would even fit. Drake was kind of a small guy, and a lot of his costumes were from a couple years ago. Still... well, a ninja in a crop top would be good.

Alright, so they needed a table, the pies, maybe some lemonade, a stupid costume, and a stupid story as to why they needed money. "Hey, how good are you at acting like you're dying of a really bad disease?" Mason asked. Hey, people were more willing to give money to dying kids than anyone else... right?

Her grip was iron tight and when Drake tried to remove his hand from Alaska's, he realized that he couldn't. So Drake would either have to deal with a deep numbing pain in his hand forever, or chew his arm off like a coyote, but... well, he wasn't about that chewing human flesh life. Which was a though he never thought he would thought, but here he was, thoughting it and-- .... wait, what was he doing in a dress shop with Alaska? Right! Helping her pick out a dress for the Homecoming this Friday. Right, of course.

"So what color are you thinking? Personally I love pink but I don't think pink is your color because like it's girly and stuff and you're not very girly. You're like a tomboy girly. So maybe like purple? Do you like purple? It's all royal like kings and queens and you could pretend to be royalty. Or red! Then if you bathed in the blood of your enemies, no one would know!" Drake finished off his long, very rushed rant of colors to Alaska with a huge grin on his face.

It was then that he realized he had no idea what he was doing, and neither did Alaska, and that they would need the help of a real girl to find something for her.

The girl was near her house, pulling out her keys, when her phone decided to slip out of the girl's jeans jacket and tumble down. Groaning, Eli put the key on the ground and leaned over to pick it up, only to see that there was a text message from an unknown number. She, curiously, opened it, only to find that Shiloh wrote to her. She read it quietly, lightly giggling at the mention that Dolly is not a person.

She wanted to go to the dress thing, but at the same time, she loved dogs. But maybe she could have her cake and eat it, too? She took to replying Shiloh, leaning against her door as she did. The girl could feel Chicka's impatient scratching on the door, which made her laugh out gently

"Hey, Shiloh. Sure, I can go out with you. When you wanna meet up? :>"

Neck Tie

DnEQw7v.gif

Neck Tie thought it was a great idea, but it could be better. ‘We should like make our own pie costume!’ It made no sense for a cat or a ninja to be selling pies, but him in a pie costume? That was genius. ‘Let’s do it, Mason. Can we? It’ll be awesome.’ Now Neck Tie was getting really excited. Probably a lot more than he should have been, given that this was supposed to be his punishment. . .

But as they went further down the sidewalk, Neck Tie was visibly struggling to keep up with the older boy, and out of the blue he felt a tiredness washed over him and a sharp pang in his heart. The boy lagged behind, feeling his chest tighten, while his breathing turned heavy. After his last visit to the hospital, his doctors had warned him to go easy on physical exertion at least for a couple of months. He wasn’t even allowed to play football (erm… soccer), or anything like that. He also hadn’t walked such a long distance, since his Dad usually picked him up from school, and Mason's apartment was proving quite far from the school.

All the previous excitement about their pie project went out from Neck Tie like a snuffed candle. His face suddenly paled, his soft eyes drooped, and he stooped down, clasping his knees to stay upright. ‘Mason. . . Mason, wait.’ He covered a cough with his hand, and his failing eyes became irritated and watery, like he was having an allergic reaction of sorts. ‘We need to stop. I’m not. . . I’m not feeling too good.’ He hoped whatever was happening to him wasn’t going to send him packing back to hospital. Just the thought of him lying on a hospital bed again terrified him.

She tried on the first dress she had picked out and I Likecame out to show Melody. “I like it, but I’m not sure it’s the dress.” She have a quick twirl but went back in the room to try on her second dress, the one she had come here for.

"Of course we can." Mason promised him, although he was kind of annoyed that Stu was getting so excited for a punishment. And as far as he was concerned, a homemade costume was going to look even worse than one of Drake's old Halloween costumes. But whatever -- if the kid wanted to make a pie costume out of whatever Mason had laying around the apartment, then he could go ahead and do so.

And then, the kid looked like he was dying and for a moment, Mason hadn't noticed that the little chatterbox wasn't still following him until he heard Stu asking about stopping for a moment. Mason frowned, turning around to look at him, and then the annoyance in his eyes quickly shifted to worry. "Dude, are you okay? Do you need me to like call the hospital or something?" Oh no, Mason was not about to let some kid die on his watch. What if they blamed him?

"Here, sit down." Mason said and looked around for some kind of bench or something, but there was nothing except for the cold grass. Well, that was better than standing all hunched over. "Is it asthma? Do you have asthma?"

Mason sat him on the grass. The ailing boy groaned and moaned for a while, clutching his stomach, then at the grass beside him. Then he took a few deep breaths, and looked up at the older boy. ‘Well, did I do well?’ he said grinning at Mason. If that wasn’t going to convince the crowd to buy all the pies, he didn’t know what would.

The girl, having sent the text to Shiloh, got into her house, where immidiately her dog decided to start climbing up to her to get pets and smooches. The girl didn't have that much time, so she just picked Chicka up and let her lick her cheeks, before she put her back down, rushing in to get something to eat.

After a couple of minutes, she ran back out with a quickly prepared meat-cheese-mayonaise sandvich, and again locked the door behind her, hurrying to the pier. Once there, she got on the ferry and arrived in the mainland finally, making her way to Grove Street, where she was supposted to meet up with Drake

He was not amused, but at the same time, well, a little smile did twitch on Mason's face. A small one. "Yeah, I think we'll be good." He said, and smacked Stu lightly in the back of the head. In a don't-ever-scare-me-like-that-again kind of way, although Mason would never openly admit that he actually cared about the well being of anyone.

"C'mon. Let's go make you into a pie." Mason shook his head and headed down the street a short distance until they arrived at his apartment. His original plan had been to leave Stu downstairs and get the stuff but now, well, here they were. "So I've got a neighbor who just wanted me to sell pies, right? Like, she's just this old lady trying to make money and she used to help me out with Drake and stuff a lot when we were little, so I agreed." He explained as he unlocked the door to his apartment.

"If you see a woman and she tries to talk to you, look the other way, say nothing, and follow me." Yeah, that woman was his mother, and the last thing he needed was her scaring Neck Tie. Luckily, as he pushed the door open, there was no mother passed out in the living room, and Mason let out a sigh of relief.

Mason led Stu into the apartment which was far from looking like a place for two teenagers to live. There were beer bottles on the ground that Mason just nudged out of the way with his Converse, dishes were piled up on the counters, the couch was stained with who knows what, and the entire place looked like a hazard. Mason didn't spend much time worrying about Stu's opinions -- but this was the reason he didn't typically let people come over.

He led the way through the filth, quietly walking past a closed bedroom door, and then opening the door to the boys' room and walking in. It was small -- way too small for Mason and Drake, with their twin beds squished on either side, and a single dresser. There wasn't room for much else. "Okay, so what are you thinking? Duct tape and balloons?"

Nova
tumblr_n0oozsw2Gd1rie27io5_250.gif

Nervous was an understatement. Not even nervous, just ridiculously anxious. The last time Nova had attended any sort of mass get together of slightly drunken or stoned high school students she had been abruptly pulled away by a boyfriend who was even more intoxicated than the lot of minors combined. From there she had ended up in a parking lot, in a dress that was too tight, in heels that were making her feet bleed with a man telling her that she was an idiot while simultaneously trying to vomit his brains out... anyway.

The dress shop wasn't exactly hard to find as Nova strolled down the street, her brown Doc Martens clicking against the heel of the foot in front of it as she took a deep breath. Dress shopping wasn't going to be all bad, this was something that the brunette was fairly certain of. She knew the needed something short (not too sort) and nothing tight fitting. The last thing she needed was to feel like she was shoved into a tube sock all night. The color of said dress was still a mystery but that didn't matter much to her right now, as long as she didn't look too pale. Of course, the hazel eyed girl was doing all of this thinking while just standing outside, tapping her rings together and taking deep breaths. There were too many women in the shop... women she didn't know and women she didn't care to socialize with. Nova's socialization was limited to Drake, Alaska, Ryder and of course, Jace.... speaking of...

Heading into the dress shop, probably won't be on my phone much. Wish me luck, I'll be over later xoxo

With that, the petite girl shoved her phone into her back pocket and pushed through the glass door, looking around at the array of colors, styles and the gaggle of giggling girls surrounding the rows.

Hajar beamed a little when she saw him come out the doors and step through the crowd towards her. "Hmm..." She was contemplating their destination as he fired up Michelle, "I don't like losing either." She gave him a hard look then busted out in laughter. "There's a pretty bomb ass lookout outside of town on the East ride, last one there can buy the drinks afterwards." It was a ruse, she had picked up a six pack that was safely tucked in the backpack on her shoulders. "Prettiest person get the head start." It's not that far of a drive into town for me, plus June mentioned something about all the girls dress shopping.. I didn't know if you were a part of the dress gang." He shot the text her way then laid out in bed, closing his eyes as the stress dripped away from the knot in his stomach.

"The blood of my enemies? I guess I wouldn't mind it as long as it's a darker color?" Alaska laughed, glad that her best friend knew her well enough to know that pink was entirely out of the option. As much as her mother had tried, the tomboy was either spilling something on her clothes or tearing them with how active she was. Sometimes Alaska wished she could be a normal girl like Nova or Ash, maybe boys would actually like her if she was, but growing up with her brother's she'd never had a chance at being girly, there were too many sports to be played and mud to be flung.

She tried to avoid the other girls as she began looking through the plethora of dresses, wrinkling up her nose at all the bright colors and ruffles, none of these were even close to her taste. None of these would look good on her, and she knew she'd be forced into a pair of uncomfortable heels that she'd have to wobble around in all night. Honestly, if Drake wasn't so sweet she would kill him for making her do this.

A familiar brunette walked through the door just as Alaska was about to give up on dress shopping all together, relief flooding her as she realized all hope might not be lost. "Nova! I'm so glad you're here." She greeted, so relieved she found herself wrapping her arms around the girl in a hug. With her two best friends (okay, only friends) by her side, dress shopping might be manageable. Nova was so pretty, dress shopping for her would be easy.

When she yelled out Nova's name, Drake spun around so fast he almost kept going in a full circle. "Oh thank goodness, a real girl." He said breathlessly and did a little bounce of excitement, the worry washing away from his face in favor of a huge smile instead. Finally, maybe him and Alaska would stand a chance of finding a good dress for her. "Can you help us with Alaska? And we can help you find something?" He asked, and did an awkward finger gun thing at her.

Finally, the trio of power was back together, and ready to rule the world. They would find the best dresses for the Homecoming, and then they would go and dance like the amazing people they were, late into the night. And Drake didn't know if Alaska was still torn up about Kanen, but he would do his best to make her forget. No matter what it took, Alaska and Nova would have the best night ever, no matter what he'd have to do to make sure that happened. Even if he had to punch.

"Alright, alright. Come on." Drake bounced his way back over to the dress racks and plunged in, looking through and pulling random dresses off the racks. "What about this?" He asked, pulling out a bright orange, short, puffy dress that as soon as he asked, he realized was a horrible idea and shoved it back.

June
June looked around as even more people appeared. She glanced over at Grace thinking to herself, I thought this was only going to be three maybe four people. It probably was at one point. Raven did come which she was happy about, but she didn’t really know what her tastes in dresses were like. She was flirty so she might go all the way, but she did have a date so what was the point.

She compliments you once about your singing and you can’t stop thinking about her. She thought to herself. She bit her lip and grabbed some red dresses looking at the tag before shyly walking past the groups of people. At first she was going to talk to Raven, then something in her told her not to. Therefore, she looked to Grace. However, she didn’t want to interrupt them.

Her eyes fell on Ash. Someone she knew, but surprisingly never talked to. They were like birds in the same tree, but in different nests. Well, maybe she would could help. She shyly walked up to her and waved. “Hey, Ash.” She held the dresses close to her as she looked at what Ash had. “Do you think you could help me? I... I’m not really sure what works or not so I need someone else’s opinion. Would you mind?”

She'd just been flipping through dresses, lightly biting her lip as she quickly decided no to basically every dress she touched. With Ryder suspended, Ash wasn't even sure she wanted to go to Homecoming. Because you know what was worse than going without a date? Having a date, and then not being able to go with them because they flipped a dude on a table. Right. Ash was trying not to think about it and how slightly mad she was at Ryder, and instead focus on he dance. She had to go, after all.

June's voice caught her attention and she was a bit surprised that June was asking her for help. At first, Ash didn't say anything, and then her shock was replaced by a bright smile as she stepped back from the over-packed rack of dresses. "Of course! I'd love to help you, umm... come on, let's go over by the dressing room and look through those." Wow, that was a lot of red but, well, June looked like the kind of girl who could definitely pull off red.

"So you like red?" She asked, teasingly, as they made their way over to the dressing room area. "And like, what are you looking for, dress-wise? Like, what makes you comfortable?" Because she had quite a few dresses, and Ash was a little worried that June had no clue what she was looking for. Well, it was kind of obvious.
