Ryder

Several different emotions took over as the injured athlete listened to Nova's story, feeling worse and worse as she detailed what had happened after he'd left in the ambulance. Ash had been more than upset, she'd ignored all of Ryder's texts and phone calls offering to talk about what had happened and where they would go from here. It was upsetting to know that he'd ruined the only real friendship he had and have his twin not be able to even look him in the eye. Today was turning out to be a spectacularly shitty day.

"Wow...I'm sorry that happened. I don't think anyone thinks of you that way though, you're much too nice for that. You managed to make friends with Alaska, that says a lot." Ryder teased, offering the girl a wide smile, even more impressed with Nova's ability to step in and try to help Ash. He hoped his sister would bring her around more, and their awkward situation wouldn't prevent them from becoming friends. Nova seemed like the kind of girl he needed around. The mere mention of Kanen's name renewed the anger from earlier, but he wouldn't worry about that now. It was going to be impossible to talk his sister out of seeing him, but he'd try his hardest to prevent her from getting hurt by that dirtbag.

"I think Ash is just going through a lot right now...it was entirely out of line for her to say that stuff and I'm sure she'll apologize once this all blows over. She doesn't usually call people she's just met thirsty bitches."

Nova
It was almost odd how nice Ryder was being. He seemed to understanding, when Nova was sure he was going to be defensive of his friend. But alas, here is was... being so ridiculously sweet. “Alaska is a sweetheart,” the brunette shook her head, meeting Ryder’s eyes. This day had been so odd, what with a bloody Ryder and a yelling Ash and a friendly Alaska, she wondered how she didn’t have whiplash yet. “I just-“ A deep breath filled Nova’s lungs and she shrugged her shoulder’s meekly. “It means a lot to me that the siblings of the guys I date like me. Family in general means a lot to me. I think it was just so sudden that it just freaked me out.” And that was the honest truth. Nova hated people disliking her, it wasn’t natural. She did her best to be this kind, sweet individual and it was Ash’s uncalled for outburst that got into her gut.

None the less, Nova and Ryder spent the next hour talking about Marvel, laughing and getting Nova’s mind off of the mess that she had endured. She liked the tanned boy, and saw an actual friendship forming. Ryder was kind, he had good intentions, and best of all he was a binge watcher. It’s like he was made to be Nova’s friend. However, once the movie had ended Nova decided she was sane enough to leave, putting her number into Ryder’s phone and telling him to give her number to Alaska as well. Walking out to her car, the brunette felt so much better, like she could breathe as she got behind the wheel of her truck.

Smile on her face, Nova drove back to her house, planning the binge watching that needed to be done and- no. That couldn’t have been a yellow beanie, sitting against the trunk of a car she had seen many times in the driveway of the West residence. Nova had no clue what he was doing her, but she felt her chest tighten and her eyes well, and the hazel eyed girl couldn’t determine if she was pissed off or if she wanted to cry... or maybe a mix of both. Hopping out of her truck with her backpack on her shoulder, she walked towards Jace slowly, head down. “I don’t know if it’s a good idea that you’re here,” She murmured, shouldering her bag up a bit. This was torture, all she wanted was to hug him and kiss him and tell him that she was sorry for running out on him but damn it if guilt didn’t still coarse through her.

Alaska

"I take it your not a fan of play practice, huh?" She joked, enjoying the fact that it seemed no one had actually stuck around to plan the stupid play Principal Nona was forcing them to do. The play didn't sound like the worst thing ever, but she couldn't just force them to put on a whole production by themselves because of a few incidents.

"I'm sorry for what happened with my brother, he's a total dick sometimes." The brunette scoffed, anger boiling under her cool exterior as she thought about that morning's incident. Punching Kanen in the face was totally over the line, especially since he'd slept with their very intoxicated friend just a day earlier. Alaska was purposely going to bring Kanen around as much as possible just to get under his skin. "And as if that wasn't bad enough, I overheard Ash telling Grace that they slept together on Saturday."

Jace
09db676d523c75c410a0a2f19b5862f3f4fb06edr1-268-180_00.gif

He'd spent the entire day readying himself for this and now he waited on the trunk of his car for Nova to show up, thankful that her parents weren't there. He was sitting just outside the door, with a bouquet of flowers and his guitar on his lap, waiting patiently for her. Every minute that ticked by just made him more nervous, and made him feel like this was a horrible idea. Nova had asked for space, but Jace was clingy and the last thing he wanted to do was give her space. Today was supposed to be The Day. The day he asked her to be his girlfriend, and now everything was an entire mess. Was it even appropriate to ask that now? Probably not... he probably just needed to wait, and make her feel better about the current situation first.

Siblings sucked.

Right when he was thinking about just leaving from fear of what might happen, he saw Nova's truck coming down the road. Heart beating faster, he hopped off the car, flowers in one hand while his other hand laid on the guitar. He was going over the song he planned to play, over and over again, as Nova approached him and spoke. "I know, and I'm sorry. I just... if you want to kick me out after this and never speak to me again, that's fine, I get it. But I at least had to try, Nova." He awkwardly thrust the bouquet of flowers at her, waiting for her to take it before his fingers went to their places on the guitar.

"I, uh... I want to play a song for you. On the first day that we were hanging out, and you complimented my walls because sunflower yellow is your favorite color -- do you remember that? Well, it immediately reminded me of this song, and then... then everything that happened today, it reminded me of this song even more, and..." Jace shook his head. "I'm horrible with words, so I'm just going to play and then you can kick me out or whatever."

And with that, Jace's fingers started to play across the guitar, and the butterflies started to fade. Playing music and singing always managed to calm him down, and he started singing the lyrics to Yellow Shirt by The Icarus Account, for once not stumbling over his words, his fingers first focused on the guitar before they trailed up to Nova. As he hit the "Because when she acts like herself, I swear that she outshines everyone else," a grin came to his face.

Once had had finished, his smile and the confidence he'd felt had faded. "Nova... Nova I really, really like you, and I was going to ask you to be my girlfriend today, but obviously now that's not appropriate but--" Jace stopped, looking at her face, taking in every inch of it as he waited to hear what she would say.

Nova
Already Nova was nervous. Men didn’t fight for her. Ever. Sometimes they fought over her and that... well it never ended well, for anyone. So the fact that Jace was here, perfectly perched ontop of his car with a guitar and flowers, well... it didn’t feel real. He was so nervous, and not the normal Jace nervous but it was somewhat adorable and endearing and why was he so adorable? Taking the flowers and placing her nose near the pedals, Nova watched as her beanie boy’s shoulders relaxed once he was playing. They always did. Music was like a drug to Jace, something she couldn’t ever envision him being without. And his voice... it was smooth and almost sultry and wonderful and everything about this was wonderful it made her want to cry.

As the song came to an end, Nova held her breath. Jace was stammering, almost too fast for the brunette to grasp what he was saying but one thing she heard perfectly. Was he serious? After everything that had happened today, he still wanted her? Her eyes widened, a small smile growing into a beaming one. She didn’t know Jace to be a joker, but if this boy wanted her after everything then who was she to deny him. Although she didn’t say anything, she couldn’t. Frozen in this state of dreamlike numbness, all Nova could think to do was run forward into Jace’s arms, burying her face into his neck and looping his arms around him. One hand fisted the back of the blonde’s shirt, the other filing into his hair as she nodded a little. “Yes,” Nova finally murmured as she placed a kiss onto Jace’s neck. “Yes yes yes yes yes.”

Kanen chuckled, shaking his head as he walked closer, coming to lean up against her car. "Yeah, that's just going to be a big old cluster-fuck. I'll be surprised if it lasts longer than a week." Kanen didn't plan on even showing up to the stupid practices, what would Nona do? Hand him a suspension? And expulsion? It's not like Westbrook was the only school within driving distance. Kanen would be more than happy to transfer to an alternative school.

"You're brother is kinda a pussy. Worse, he's fucking stupid. Don't go start a fucking fight if you don't know how to fight. Like Jesus Christ." Kanen muttered, rubbing the back of his neck with his right hand.

He froze when Alaska mentioned that Ryder and Ash had slept together. That didn't seem right. Ash didn't really seem like that kind of person, and Kanen was sure he had heard something about Her and Ryan going to the party together. Ash may have been a bitch earlier, but Kanen didn't honestly believe she was cruel enough to just play with a guy's feelings. Besides, Ryder? Really? You don't get the nickname Minuteman unless you're some sort of player. Ash definitely didn't seem like the type to go chasing players.

"Was she fucking drunk or something?" Kanen asked, pushing himself off of her car so he could face Alaska directly.

Sawyer
In the end she had actually went and gotten cast as a dude. Sawyer was kind of surprised that they'd actually done it honestly and now she got to play Sonny. The best part about this whole thing was that Grace was Marty and someone had taken the liberty to add a kiss to the script. Sawyer didn't know how Grace would feel about this particular situation, pretty nervous if she had a guess, but Sawyer found herself excited. In fact, she was pretty sure she hadn't been this excited for a role since The Crucible in like eighth grade.

Sawyer's whole weekend was spent trying to perfect her semi-convincing man voice. She was pretty sure it was good, her dad had even said so. Oliver had been a bit surprised when Sawyer came home telling him about Principal Nona's punishment and the developments after it. But he was happy if his daughter was happy with it. Sawyer had even swung by the hospital Friday night to tell Ryan about all of it. The doctors had told her he could hear her so she'd been doing this whole updating him thing regularly. He probably wouldn't be too thrilled about the whole Ash fiasco but she told him anyway.

When Monday rolled around and the school day slipped by in a blur like usual, Sawyer was left sitting in the auditorium for practice a little too early. She couldn't help it if she was excited to start working. Her previous grievances about the play sucking had been completely shed from her conscious and replaced with drive. There was no way this play was going to suck because it had to be good. They had to make as much money as they could for Ryan and the others. This was going to be the best damn rendition of Grease ever produced.

Grace
tumblr_p0v54yUHm61vfcelso1_500.gif
Grace finally drove to school, today. Thanks to June & herself telling their parents that a car was essential. She smiled as she drove, she missed her jeep. Her smile quickly faded when someone came out of no-where, she slammed on the breaks and sighed heavily, it’s okay. It’s the first day driving again, almost running over someone was bound to happen. “Sorry.” She apologized to June.

She tapped the steering wheel nervously, she was casted as Sawyer’s love interest. Which isn’t a bad thing! It’s just.. in front of all those people. She took a breath at the thought of it.

The rest of the day went by uneventful, she was early to practice, sitting in one of the seats doodling in her notebook, putting it away, and grabbing something else out of her bag when she saw Sawyer enter. She printed out a sample flyer, just to see what everyone thought about it. She sketched it herself. But no-one knew that.

“Hey.” Grace greeted her with a smile, holding the flyer out to her. “Check it out.” Grace didn’t show anyone what she drew, but she thought this should be an exception, considering their circumstances. And to be fair.. Grace wasn’t telling her she made it so.

What? It wasn’t a lie! She just didn’t ask. Though, she hoped she wouldn’t.

Sawyer
Sawyer was busy going over the script and not so subtly talking to herself when Grace walked in. Her lines faded on her lips as Grace handed her a flyer. Sawyer smiled at her as she took it and gave it and appraising once over. It looked pretty cool to Sawyer, unique design and all. Though, Sawyer was pretty sure she thought everything Grace did was awesome so she wasn't the most unbiased of judges.

"Looks sick, babe." She handed the flyer back to Grace, "You're like good at everything, Miss Flyer Consierge." Sawyer turned fully to Grace with a grin, "What else are you good at that I don't know about, huh?" She cocked her head to the side and raised an eyebrow.

"I feel like I'm entitled to know all your secret talents."

This last week had flown by in a beautiful flurry with Jace's head above the clouds after Nova had said yes. They had been officially together for one week, and now they would get to work on the music together for the play. This was heavenly. The only bad part was Ash being Sandy, the lead, and meaning that the two new lovebirds had to hangout with her almost daily. After everything that had happened, Jace still hadn't spoken to his sister, despite her attempts to right things. Every time she looked at him, all he could see was how he'd almost lost Nova because of Ash getting all uptight about something.

Either way, he was excited. So he walked into the auditorium, with his guitar and a bag of music sheets for the play. Jace had never been in charge of anything, especially not music for a production, and he didn't intend to mess this up. So he made his way up the stage, awkwardly scooting past Sawyer who honestly kind of scared him, and move to some kind of spot to set his stuff down while he waited for Nova and... Stu. He wasn't particularly happy about the freshman who'd peed on his petunias assisting them, but hey, whatever. Nothing could really bring Jace down from this high.

Mason
8YvB.gif

Mason hadn't tried out, but apparently a lack of guys meant that they were casting whoever they could find. Which meant that they had cast Mason as some dude who was apparently Danny's best friend, and a lover to another character who was to be played by Alaska. Now, he wasn't upset about the whole kissing a hot girl thing, but he wasn't sure where he stood with June. And he was worried that this might throw a wrench in whatever was going on between him, but whatever. There was no getting out of it now, and Alester needed him to do this, even if Mason wasn't happy about it.

Luckily, through healing and roleplay magic, Mason was off his crutches and pretty much just had a on his lower leg. Yes, he was still limping pretty badly and couldn't walk for long distances without being in a lot of pain, but it was something. Mason had also been attending physical therapy, all in hopes that by some kind of magic, he could get back on the football team and keep himself safe from losing his position as captain. Plus, he couldn't dance with a crutch.

So Mason had now walked in and taken a seat in the front, waiting for whatever it was they'd want him to do.

The entire week had been long and mainly involved Ash diving around any questions and refusing to talk to anybody except for Grace. Which meant that she had yet to discuss with Ryder what had happened... which wouldn't have been a problem, and she would've kept hiding from him forever, if he hadn't been cast as Danny. Sadly, excuses of "Sorry, busy with the play" or pretending to check a fake watch, saying she was late to something, and then diving into the girls' bathroom wouldn't save her from awkward conversation here. But hey, one way or another, Ash was going to have to face the music.

She just hoped that Ryder wouldn't be too angry. Ash couldn't handle much more yelling this week, and she still hadn't gone to seen Ryan in the hospital. Just the idea still made her sick, and she felt as if she needed to get over what happened with Ryder first. Ugh. If that was even possible... maybe she should just become a nun and never deal with guys again. That was starting to feel like the best idea ever, and Ash considered as she made her way into the auditorium.

Ash replaced her worry with a bright, but somewhat strained, smile as she entered the auditorium and headed towards the front where everyone seemed to be gathering.

Drake

He was there for moral support.

Drake had no interest in actually participating in the play, but figured extra hands could always be used, so he'd shown up. Plus, Alaska was going to be in the play, and she was going to have to kiss Mason, so he figured she could use all the morale support she could get. So basically, he was there as a potential extra, and also as Alaska's fan base. He would be cheering her on no matter what she did throughout this entire production -- it was just how he rolled.

Despite the deep depression the poor kid felt (which had been going for at least three weeks at this point), Drake had managed to shower and change his clothes before classes today after spending the whole weekend hiding in his bed, per usual. Still, the weeks of hibernation and lack of food, socialization, and outside had started to weigh on him, and it was easy to see the bags under his eyes, and how he was starting to look a little gaunt. Just a little.

Of course, he was planning on hiding all of that away for everyone. But he also knew that Alester was here, directing. Drake knew eventually they'd have to talk, but he really didn't want to. Not until he got out of his trench that he'd dug for himself.

Glad you like it.” She said taking the flyer back with a smile, she chuckled from the praise. She raised her eyebrows in surprise, when Sawyer asked what other talents she had, she didn’t know what to say until Sawyer said she was entitled to know.

She eyed everyone as they began to walk in, before they were in earshot’s range she replied to Sawyer. “You’re more than welcome to try and uncover those secrets.” Teasingly smiling at the girl.

Before looking away and towards everyone else. “I think we’re still missing a few people, but glad to know everyone cared enough to show up today.” She spoke cheerily.

Rory Quinn

He was assigned to play Leo who was in a relationship with Cha-Cha played by a girl named Raven. He had seen her walking the school halls several times but he hasn't interacted with her at all. Hopefully, this play would allow him to have some new friends since all he had at this point was his girlfriend, Angelina. Rory walked in the busy auditorium watching as the students chattered away with each other. Something he hoped he would able to do with ease once production started.

Nova
Monday came and went easy, the rest of the week and into the weekend occupied by Jace. The brunette had had him over while her parents were out of town, and was thrilled that he had finally met Kelbi. The big white dog had seemed to take a liking to Jace, coming up and sitting beside him, letting her head lean on his thigh whenever the boy entered the door. She didn’t dare lick her owner’s boy, but the dog sure did love him. More than anything, Nova was just thrilled that she finally knew exactly where she stood with the blonde (which usually wasn’t standing, but napping on him while he played guitar).

The next Monday morning came, and still Nova’s smile hadn’t left her lips. She was wearing high waisted black jeans, holes in the knees of course, with one of Jace’s t-shirts on, tied up so that a bit of her stomach showed. Worn brown Doc Martens surrounded her feet, her hair in a side braid falling over one shoulder. It would’ve been impossible to bring Nova’s mood down right now, and for that, she had Jace to thank.

Walking into the auditorium, the brunette instantly searched for a yellow beanie and found him on the stage. A breath of relief left her lips as she made her way to the stage, dropping her stuff next to his and moving to stand beside him, letting her arms fall around his shoulders as she leaned down to peck a kiss to his cheek. “Hi handsome,” the sweet girl grinned, burying her nose in his hair. She had grown way too obsessed with how her boy smelled, hence the reason she was always stealing his clothes and wanting him to cuddle her close. Nova was very aware of Ash sitting near the couple, but chose to just focus on her boy instead, unsure of where she stood with her boyfriend’s sister.

So a whole week had passed without anything special. Tuesday had been hard since Mason and Alester had been daydrinking the whole day. Mason was also high as fuck but Alester didn't smoke. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday had been fine. He had been getting back to life somehow but still hadn't talked to Drake. He probably would pass it and move on, Drake wasn't interested in him.\

Just before time Alester entered and stood on the podium, looking at Grace "So the cast is very impressive" he started, followed by his dramatic cough. He had gotten Mason to play some character in the play. At first Alester didn't really knew what Grease was about, but he had read some scripts online. "... I printed some scripts online, what about we and the actors start practicing the lines and decided if there needs to be changed something while the musicians try out some music and if someone can dance try to figure out some choreography? Everyone who had nothing to do can paint the decor" Another cough "Kanen" Another cough "...I think that is the best way to start"

June
She was nervous for Grace as she almost crashed in the morning. June decided then and there David will be the one to pick her up, despite how much she hated him. Monday was normal with her taking pictures and talking about the play. She had to talk to Georgia for a bit, but she found it was pretty normal. Yeah, that summed up the day. Normal.

Although, she was pretty excited to start to rehearsing for the play. As of the moment she walked into the doors, she would be Frenchy. But, she hadn’t gotten a clue how to dance and sing and she has a solo. She walked in and saw others were suprisingly here too. Despite them all being ‘bad’ children, they had all come together for this. She looked around for Raven at first before seeing Mason was here.

She made her way over and gently smiled. “Hey. Did you get a role?” She asked gently and then she glanced at his leg. “Oh, no crutches! Congrats.” She gently patted his shoulder with a small smile still on her face. “I was assigned Frenchy. Which is a horrible idea because all I know how to do is take pictures.”

She walked into the room, placing flowers by the desk, “I should’ve known not to get flowers.” She said to herself, pulling up a chair to sit next to the bed. “I don’t know, some people think that you can hear all this stuff so..” she shrugged. Looking around the room. “Nice place you got here helmet.” She winced at the nickname. Was he even wearing a helmet that night?

She shook off the thought. “So, we’re doing a play.. or a musical or whatever you call it.” She twiddled her thumbs, “I was casted as this bitchy chick.” She chuckled softly, though nothing was funny. “Surprise, right?” Shaking her head. “I’m supposed to be at rehearsal soon, but i just needed to..” she trailed off, taking a breath.

“Alright, listen.” She took a few long seconds before speaking, she wasn’t sure what to say. “I’m sorry.” It was a start, but it didn’t make up for anything. “It’s my fault.” She hated that her voice was the only thing filling the silence besides the heart monitor in the background. “I’m sorry that..” that my junkie mother hit you with her car, getting you hospitalized, and almost killing you...It’s safe to say she didn’t finish the rest of her sentence. “I’m just..sorry.” It was her third time saying it, and somehow she felt worse.

“That’s uh.. all i had to say.” She stood up from the chair. Getting ready to leave she walked towards the door, giving him a last look. “Whenever you can, do me a favor and wake up.” She smiled gently at Ryan. “I need my partner back.”

After that, she made her way back to the school, taking a taxi. She arrived late, that was clear enough. Raven usually would’ve made a much more attention-grabbing entrance, but she wasn’t really feeling it today. She saw June, but engaged in a conversation with Mason, she narrowed eyes at him. Before taking a seat away from everyone else, she was ready for whatever today’s disaster held.

Rory Quinn

In an attempt to start practicing for the play Rory went searching for his co-star. He peeled through the large crowed looking around the room for a girl with jet-black hair. Hopefully the two would get along and have enough chemistry to almost fool the audience. It was crucial for the play to be the best and nothing less which worried him a lot. From the description of his character he wasn't much of an important one but rather a simple antagonist which was far from his actual personality. But that was the point of acting Rory supposed though he could tell it would be a bit challenge to act mean. He finally spotted her siting in one of the seat across from him and walked towards her. While walking he couldn't help but think about his girlfriend. She didn't seem like one the jealous types and so the play should go smoothly without any drama threatening their relationship.

"Hey", he said before took a seat next to her. "I'm Rory and I'll be playing Leo. Nice to meet you". Rory smiled extending his hand.

When he introduced himself she understood. “Raven.” Was all she said, turning her attention elsewhere. “I’m sure you know who i play already, considering your here talking to me.” She was being harsh, to say the least. He probably didn’t deserve it. She sighed heavily.

Eying his hand, and shook it. “Mmhm.” She nodded. “Nice to meet you too.” She didn’t sound interested, but she didn’t want to come off as a total bitch.

He shook her hand and then proceeded to try and get to know her. "Have you acted before? I did at my old school but it was usually a play by Shakespeare". The whole musical was new to him as his uptight boarding school would never allow such a thing to step foot on its theaters. Rory had been so used to the ways of his private school he worried that he would be unable to perform the way the director him to.

He glanced up at June, smiling as she approached him. Mason patted the seat next to him, gesturing for her to sit down. "Yeah, they needed another dude. I did not audition. Just came to school and Alester told me I'm gonna be Kenji or something. I don't know. I gotta sing a song about a car at some point, which is not cool." Mason admitted. For all his confidence and bravado, he was not pleased with the idea of having to sing or act. "Plus Rizzo is played by Alaska, so like, I gotta kiss her and stuff." It probably wouldn't be that big of a deal, except that is ex-bestie, Kanen, was now apparently dating her.

He didn't want to put his lips anywhere near where Kanen's had been.

"And yeah, luckily got them to take the big cast off. Still got a bit of a brace." Mason explained, and pulled up the pant leg of his jean. The brace went over his knee, and almost down to his ankle. "I can kinda run and walk now, just gotta do it in short bursts." He explained and pulled his pant leg back down.

"Anyway, what about you? I bet you're Sandy, right?"

Neck Tie was looking around for his new musical buddies when he spotted all kinds of activity on the stage. Thankfully Jace’s yellow beanie stuck out like a sore thumb, and he and Nova were already among the people who had already gathered there to work on the play.

Yes, the two were kissing and cuddling again, but it never crossed Neck Tie’s mind that he could be third wheeling. Jace and Nova had been so kind to him to let him work on the music with them. If they didn’t want him there they would have said so, right? Right?

Hell, it wasn’t like he had much of a choice. It was either this or some stupid singing and acting. Neck Tie could sing, pretty well too actually. But he’d not done enough acting to know if he was any good at it. The tree. . . that didn’t count. It wasn’t like he fell on purpose. The kid who played the shepherd of Bethlehem wasn’t supposed to lean against him as if he was an actual tree.

Plus, he hadn’t really found the time to worry about this silly musical thing. Neck Tie had mostly been busy catching up on work and was just starting to get the rhythm of things. Last week he also went to find Mason at the football pitch but didn’t find him there, otherwise he would have had an even busier week slaving around as a waterboy.

Jace had brought his guitar and all his musical gear and looked like a real professional. Neck Tie had brought a bag of sour gummy worms. So yes, he came prepared. ‘Hey, Jace. Hey, Nova.’ He waved to his musical buddies, smiling. ‘I’m sorry I’m late.’

Alaska

The petite girl tensed as she watched the anger that flashed over Kanen’s face at the mention of her brother. While she was still mad at him, she didn’t necessrily want him dead. She’d forgotten Kanen and Ash had been friends before this morning, it was thanks to the blonde girl that he wasn’t sitting in prison right now.

“I...well uh I don’t know. She was drunk on Saturday but I don’t know when it happened. I haven’t confronted either of them about it.” Alaska admitted, frowning as she realized just how fucked up the situation truly was. There were so many dumb things Ryder had done, but she didn’t think he would sleep with a drunk girl. Then again she hadn’t thought he would punch a guy she’d kissed.

She bit her lip smiling for a moment as Mason got the name of his own character wrong. “I really can’t imagine you singing. I mean, I can’t imagine myself singing either, but it’ll be a fun thing to do.” She said hopefully until he mentioned the kiss. She would be lying if she said it didn’t bother her. But, Alaska seemed pretty nice and she heard she kissed Kanen. Maybe it’ll be okay. “It’s all pretend. No one should get hard feelings over a play.”

She looked down at his leg and smiled wide at the somewhat good news. “That’s wonderful! Just in time for you to be a smooth singer and dancer.” She teased before laughing again at his comment. “Ah, no Sandy. Ash is gonna be her. She’s also gonna teach me how to sing and dance. But I’m Frenchy. The bubbly girl that’s also a ditz.” She shrugged her shoulders nervously as she did she glanced over and saw Raven talking to someone. She frowned briefly before looking back at Mason. “Do you wanna look at the lines together?” She asked, trying slightly to distract herself from staring at Raven.

She only half-listened as he spoke. Watching Mason & June, what were they even talking about? She turned her attention back towards Rory, “Uh, no.” She told him, “At least your old school was fancy enough to have a theater.” She shrugged. When Raven was 14, before her grandmother got sick. She made her transfer schools, she said ‘that there was better kids there.’ Raven loved her grandmother, but she couldn’t of been more wrong.

It seemed like almost every week there was a blow up of drama. She wasn’t complaining, this place was entertaining. But it was nice to have a whole week without anything drastic happening. “I never really had the chance to ‘act.’ I mean, i could’ve joined theatre. But i didn’t see the point to it.” She shrugged.

“But who knows, maybe I’ll like it.” She furrowed her brows at the boy, she wasn’t paying enough attention, and instead of giving him a whole background about it.. she should’ve just left it at a ‘no’

Kanen's face grew hard when Alaska admitted Ash had been drunk, or atleast she thought so. The muscles in his back tensed, from his shoulders moving down his spine like a wave. His jaw tightened, hands falling to his sides in closed fists. There were lines you just don't cross, and if Ash was Drunk, and Ryder took her to bed anyways, Ryder would have a lot more to worry about than just a broken nose.

There were some things even Kanen, as bad as he was, wouldn't tolerate. Regardless of where his friendship was with Ash, this was something Kanen wasn't going to let just slide.

His anger boiled over into rage, though Kanen's body was stiff. "Your brother..." Kanen started, spitting down into the dirt, "...I'm going to put him in the fucking ground." He finished as he started walking away. Kanen was angry when he had hit Mason on the football field, but that paled in comparison to this. This was rage with direction. Purpose. Kanen wasn't worried about consequences. This would be prison yard justice.

He didn't even say goodbye as he walked back to his car, slipping into the drivers seat and tearing off down the road, a pair of dark sunglasses hiding eyes like storm clouds.
