these violent delights have violent ends.
Ryder
Several different emotions took over as the injured athlete listened to Nova's story, feeling worse and worse as she detailed what had happened after he'd left in the ambulance. Ash had been more than upset, she'd ignored all of Ryder's texts and phone calls offering to talk about what had happened and where they would go from here. It was upsetting to know that he'd ruined the only real friendship he had and have his twin not be able to even look him in the eye. Today was turning out to be a spectacularly shitty day.
"Wow...I'm sorry that happened. I don't think anyone thinks of you that way though, you're much too nice for that. You managed to make friends with Alaska, that says a lot." Ryder teased, offering the girl a wide smile, even more impressed with Nova's ability to step in and try to help Ash. He hoped his sister would bring her around more, and their awkward situation wouldn't prevent them from becoming friends. Nova seemed like the kind of girl he needed around. The mere mention of Kanen's name renewed the anger from earlier, but he wouldn't worry about that now. It was going to be impossible to talk his sister out of seeing him, but he'd try his hardest to prevent her from getting hurt by that dirtbag.
"I think Ash is just going through a lot right now...it was entirely out of line for her to say that stuff and I'm sure she'll apologize once this all blows over. She doesn't usually call people she's just met thirsty bitches."
