Jace lightening up was the best thing that could've happened tonight, and if that was all she had gotten out of attending the bonfire tonight, she would've been thrilled. But this, being cuddled up under the blonde's arm, head on his shoulder, warmth of both the fire and him, this was wonderful. She felt safe and happy, and although she was still slightly cold, she was warm enough to be content. She hoped eventually she would get to talk to Ash about her brother a little more, maybe when she wasn't surrounded by people, but for now, she was perfectly fine staying right where she was. "You seem to have quite the extensive skill set don't you?" Nova joked as she smiled up at Jace, turning her head just enough so that she wouldn't have to remove it from his shoulder. The brunette also made it a point to move closer to the blonde, making sure his arm didn't fall from her shoulders. She was too warm and too comfortable for that to happen. "Talented and diverse musician, pro beanie wearer, excellent heat source," Of course she was half joking, she really did think highly of Jace, and to prove her point she gave him a gentle nudge. "There has to be a con to you, right? Besides that I may never see the day that you and I binge watch a Netflix series on your huge couch which, truly, breaks my heart." The brunette feigned a pout and sighed, thinking about the scenario. She could be in her black cloth shorts, one of Jace's t-shirt draping over her... it would be pretty adorable. But for now, they were here, at a bonfire where she hardly knew anyone, which was semi-beginning to weigh on her. She knew very well that her blondie didn't have many close friends, and that was somewhat reassuring... although his sister appeared to be quite the social butterfly.
