Roaming The Universe and Stars
June
She had stayed up-to-date on her blog and honestly felt accomplished because of it. Taking photos and writing all of her feelings and thoughts became a remedy in itself. Of course, this relaxed state of mind and heart shattered as soon as Grace opened her door. She was doing her homework and was shocked at the request. "Um... I..." Then she left. This party that everyone had talked about at school and Twitter. She was invited to. A small part of her was filled with thrill, but the other part was filled with dread. Quickly, forfeiting her homework, she got ready.
In the car, June was staring out the window, wondering where the hell they were going. She nervously pulled on her small brown belt that went around her white dress with birds on it. It wasn't the best outfit of all time. But, she considered it was pretty nice out of everything else. "I've made friends... The teachers are very nice." She admitted quietly. She didn't really make an effort to try to put herself out there. She felt like she was too late to do so. And when June was about to ask Grace why she even invited her, she saw the house and dread poured over her quickly. She's never seen such a house before. She always knew they existed, but never would she walk on that same floor. "Oh my god I'm to poor for this." She mumbled under her breath. She slowly got out of the car and followed Grace closely. "I can't believe you're friends are this rich..." She whispered before seeing her said friends as they entered.
She looked over and felt startled to see Ash and Kanen in person. There was always this divide between the people and their names for her. Therefore, they almost felt otherworldly for her. So, seeing them now made her stare a little to long. Luckily though, Grace had pulled her gaze away to her friends. Swayer seemed nice and introduced herself. June went for a sheepish smile to the both of them. "Ah, nice to meet you. I'm June—" She already introduced you, you idiot. "You both look very nice." She saw instantly that Swayer cared more about Grace. Instantly she understood, but didn't say anything. Only nodding to Ryan. "Hi, I think I've seen you somewhere. Maybe we have a class together?" They in fact had no classes together and she knew that. But, had no clue how to carry a conversation without school forcing its way in. She had to will herself to be involved in the group even as she grew nervous with the amount of alcoholic beverages and loud music that almost started to give her a headache.
