Fantasy Welcome to the Pantheon (Reboot - Always Accepting!)

Flower petals and the color pink. Those two things go with the general theme of how Liberty makes love. Sweet. Tender. Cute. Sappy. Romantic. Kisses all over. Cuddling and gentleness. Passion. Breathlessness. For Liberty it was an intimate affair. Very intimate. Granted it didn't mean they were married or anything like that, even Liberty wasn't that bad.

((Sleeping: concept of the century))
Nox was just enjoying the quiet solitude of her walk was interrupted by a meddling fire god.

'And there goes my good mood' she rolled her eyes.

"My motives are my own Ilim. We aren't teenagers. If you want to talk at least do it face to face."
"Ha, I'd love too. As soon as I pin-point your location."

(Out of pure curiosity what time-zone are you in?)

But certain actions have their consequences. "This was a mistake" is one of the many thoughts racing through his head as he lays right next to Lyker. He let his stupidity, emotions, and hormones get the better of him. I'm so lonely. He slept with a stranger because he was so lonely. He did it again. I bet if I fall asleep right now, I will awaken to a cold other side of the bed. I will wake up to a beautiful morning sun, only to find Lyker nowhere to be found. That's how it always works. I fall in love with a pretty face. I give myself to them stupidly on the first day. We do it but it means nothing to the other guy. I'm too easy. That's why. Liberty begins crying himself to sleep. Turned away from Lyker he begins sobbing himself to sleep. He cries silently though. He'd never even know. Back in the confederate south if you cried out, they would just hurt you more.

((CST, but I sleep a max of 6 hours every night so most people dont really notice))

"Why don't I just come to you? Just make a shadow."

"I can't, I don't have one. There's a nice plant nearby casting a shadow, though."

(I've got CET, but I sleep a max of 11 hours every night instead.)

((That sounds like heaven. Recently I've been getting nothing more than 4 hours. You must be blessed.))

'Better be a nice plant.'

Taking a second to lock in on Ilim's light, Nox pulled a portal from the plant's shadow and stepped through it. She looked down at the plant in disdain; she just stepped through a fern's shadow. The fern was promptly destroyed.

"Don't you have better things to do than to get on my nerves? I'm busy." She was still dressed in her revealing evening gown.

"Busy. That word is never good when it comes out of your mouth. What are you doing that's so important right now?"

He sneaked a glance at her, just instinctually. That drunken declaration in the bar was coming back full force. Curse his tongue for revealing such things. He hadn't even acknowledged those before now.

(Blessed with summer holidays, I suppose. It's different when school's on. All that studying.)

((I guess so. I get no sleep no mater the time of year so it's meh.))

"I don't need to explain myself to you, and I work on such a cosmic scale that your little brain would struggle to keep up. I will, however, tell you that spying on Jamie is really creepy for a man your age. Also, if you're going to give a human a Flame again, do so with less light. That little Amanda really glows when she stands next to Jamie. Oh and another thing. You just HAD to make your sunshine brat be Jamie's only friend didn't you? Of all the children in the world, you choose her." She crossed her arms in annoyance, this only made her breasts even more obvious.

"I had nothing to do with Amanda and your little darkness-infused thing's friendship!"

Though he WAS quick to try to turn it to his advantage.

"When I met her she barely had any friends at all. In fact, I think she's a lot healthier than those minions you've set him up with."

He glared at her in an attempt to make her focus on his eyes instead of his crotch.

"Those 'minions' as you put it used to be his bullies. They should worship the ground he walks on, because he did save them. If not for his kindness, I would have simply had them destroyed." Nox rolled her eyes and stepped even closer to Ilim, her Amazonian height bringing her breasts eye to eye with Ilim's.

"This is HAL, my beautiful dog. At least in so far one might call him one. It's rather a set of cybernetic- naturally inspired, yet streamlined features, run by probably the closest thing to a technological substitute for bio-organic consciousness. Problem is, the system still needs to Assimilate and then naturalise traditional k9 behavior. Something not even I can understand... I was wondering, would you be open to taking him on. Teaching him all your doggedly ways?" Hitch looked over at HAL who looked over to him "Byork!" He smiled like a proud father would to a new child
Daimon growled in irritation. "I dont babysit walking toasters" He said. "Besides, I dont like you. So why should I even think about agreeing to this? And for the last time, I am not a dog!" He snapped.

"Well well well... I am NOT surprised that you would disregard free will so horribly. Does this Jamie even have a say in whether or not these children should be his slaves?"

Damn, it was starting to hurt.

(Can Daimon come across Luke?)

(Jesus my character has taken a long shower...)

(The water bill is merely through the roof!)

He finally got out of the shower, wrapping the towel around his waist. He stepped out of the bathroom and quickly changed into some underwear and a robe. the robe was purely blue and soft as he finally stepped out of his room. he quickly grabbed a cup and some pre-made tea. it was mostly just his time to relax.

(Sure. Though he's kinda stuck right now)

HAL looked at Daimon, his cybernetic head turning to the side.... then there was a clearly digital impression "Grrrrrr - it's good?" He stepped closer to Daimon, but Hitch put a hand on him, keeping him from actually going within paw reach. "Now now, HAL is not a toaster. He is a dog right?" "Yes, Byork!" Hitch patted his head... "Just a small, innocent little puppy, that needs to learn how to be a survivor. I simply thought, that yes, I do not like you - but if one being on this godforsaken mountain could teach another to survive, It would be you."

(i HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT SO MANY KINDS OF PEOPLE... #BLESSED, BUT LACK OF BABIES IS DISSAPOINT)

"I'm going to go along with the idea that this thing is not just some fancy oven and actually call it a dog. This 'dog' is just being called a dog, right? Why does it need to learn how to survive if it has you with it all the time?" He asked.

Hitch sighed loudly, before rubbing the head of HAL. "Why don't you go to sleep? Just for a bit, hey?" "OKAY! BYORK!" HAL folded himself up and lay on the ground and went to sleep. Hitch sighed again. "I shall rephrase, at the moment he is a basic input output system. While sensory influx is nuanced the system itself can only react to it is a manner that has been predetermined. In this case, by me. I have introduced the capacity for adaptive learning - rather complicated systems of observation and understanding - but the thing is that he will learn, and he will learn well. At the moment, he is a fragment of a personality, with the potential to become one. If he stays with me always, He will become me. I can not have that. I can't die, or be destroyed that easily... but he can. And because of his synthetic form, most won't give him the same life consideration they might something organic. They won't hesitate. Yes, I could make a copy of all of his memories, and just put it in another being... but... I have over the last few days... developed a deep regard for it. It would feel... disingenuous to... care for a copy. Thus, I thought a more volatile, yet clearly socially aware pack animal, which still has some capacity for reasoning, would be the perfect thing to teach him how to survive in a world as lethal as the one we inhabit." Hitch was by now crouched over next to HAL, petting his head while leaning against his umbrella for support.

Daimon listened. So people would kill it without a second thought because he wasnt organic, made sense. Most didnt like what was different. He thought back, he was hunted because he wasnt human. People would call him a beast before they got to know him, and he called this cybernetic form a toaster before he knew anything else. Everything needed a chance to live. Finally he spoke. "Fine. I'll teach it what I know"

Damn, it was starting to hurt.
"I respect free will just fine - be much easier if I didn't - and they aren't his slaves, they simply believe that he can protect them from the dangers of the Dark, which he can. You couldn't possibly understand it, but they are better with Jamie than without. You don't know this, but if Jamie hadn't saved them from themselves, they would have been dead within the year. They get to actually see their 14th years of life now." She reached out and poked Ilim firmly in the chest. She was close enough for him to feel the heat rolling off of his skin.

Something about Ilim seemed off.

'I wonder what's got him so preoccupied. '

Hitch's eyes popped wide open and he fell backwards with a "wait what? .... ow ow." The noise immediately woke up HAL who jumped over and put his head under Hitch's arm, should he want to get up. "I am HELP! BYORK!" Instead of getting up, Hitch sat more comfortably on the ground and petted HAL's head. He looked over at Daimon. "And you won't just eat him after I leave?"
