Jamie turned from the window he was staring out of as he heard a crash and sting of curses from the kitchen. Looks like his father had once again managed to walk into the marble topped island of the kitchen. Jamie stood and walked out of his room into the kitchen.


"You ok dad?" He asked as he walked to the freezer for an ice pack, already knowing the answer.


"The hell I am! How does this thing always manage to be in my way. I'm gonna lose a toe, one of these days!" Harold was sitting in the chair looking torn between cradling his foot, and cradling his coffee.


"Here dad. This will help." He Shadenchanted the ice pack before he passed it over.


"Thanks, J. Ahh, that's good." Harold placed the ice pack and groaned in appreciation.


"Hey son, you know the next time that frenchie lady, Lune, is gonna stop by?" He asked off handedly, as if it wasn't important.


"She kinda just stops by whenever she feels like it, dad." Jamie said wistfully.


"Hopefully she'll come by soon." Harold said with equal levels of wist.


"You have no idea." Jamie mumbled to himself as he walked back into his room shutting the door. Might as well get started on his homework.

Liberty had been strolling through the corridors of Olympus feeling mighty proud of his prayer answering when he overheard part of the conversation of Virian and Lyker. He didn't know who it was them but felt sympathy for Virian. Rejected. Ouch. I know the feeling.

Akuma conjured a large scythe from nowhere. It was the only way he could interact with the physical realm at the moment, and the cat would just get a new head if Akuma cut it off by accident. Probably. He carefully ran the scythe's point behind the cat's ears.
