Poppy laying on the couch. "Oh god yes she does. Always having Edward or that wolf save her. I mean come on why can't she just grow up. I mean she is a woman. Women are strong we can save our selfs if need be. I felt offend by the way she was."

Eli chuckles and nods, "Exactly. She acts like women did when I was still human?" He sighs, shaking his head, "It's stupid, really."

Poppy looking up at Eli, "What was the time like when you were human? Not the women I don't care about that." She asks

Eli tilts his head from side to side, trying to figure out how to word it, "Well.. I was born in 1811. James Madison was president, the flag only had 15 stars, we didn't have cars or planes, or anything like that.. It was all carriages and buggies, there was no electricity so everything was done by the sun, or by candle light." He shrugs a bit, "I mean, it was incredibly different, but as the years go by most things actually seem to blend together."

Poppy listened to him. "Wow to actually be from that time. But I am not going to dwell on that. That is the past and we are in the present. Eli do you happen to have a girlfriend or you just go through the girls?" She had to giggle at her her self.

 

[Zotohxan]

Eli chuckles and shakes his head, "I don't have a girlfriend, I haven't had one since I was sixteen. I've been with girls, but that's all."

 

[H8becomesyou]

Poppy smiles, "I was just asking is all Eli. Though 16 for you was a long time ago. Anyways enough about that. I won't be nosey." She gets up, "Would like something to drink? I am going to get me some tea." She asks Eli.

 

[Zotohxan]

Eli shrugs, "Tea sounds good. Thanks." He says happily. He'd never met a human girl who didn't question him for hours upon hours about his past, so this was quite new to him.. But, again, he appreciates how open she was about all of this.


He then stands and smiles as he stands and walks after Poppy toward the kitchen, "Anything I can help with?"

Poppy smiles, "Why yes you can Eli. Would you mind getting the glasses. There are in the very top. And I don't really want to have to climb to get them." She laughs. As she gets the tea out of the fridge. And cuts some lemon for the tea. She couldn't sit and ask questions all the time. That would get to him. So best to believe what he says.


((Oh it is ok. Really I understand how that can happen. Happens to me as well. So all good ))

Eli smiles and nods as he walks to the cupboard and easily reaches the glasses. He sets them on the counter then leans up against the opposite one, "And I don't mind you asking questions, you know.. You can ask anything you like."

"Thank you Eli." Pouring the tea into the glasses and putting lemon on the side of the glass. Smiling to Eli. "I know Eli. But I feel it is easier to believe you. I don't like to ask endless questions. It gets old fast at least for me it does." Handing him his glass. "I am just glad you were honest with me Eli." Kissing his cheek.

 

[Zotohxan]

Eli nods, "Right. Well, I appreciate it, then." He says gently, leaning in and kissing her forehead. He then takes the glass and takes a sip, a soft smile on his face, "This is delicious, by the way."

Poppy's smile widen on her face. "Oh I am so glad you like it. I am a master at making tea." She laughs some."See it is getting better. But you can't get it out of me how I make it. It is a special." She winks at him.

Eli chuckles a bit, "Oh, I bet you are. And I'm sure I could figure out how to get your secret if I wanted to." He winks as well, a smirk playing on his lips as he sets down his glass and walks to her, his head held high until his body is practically right against hers. He looks down at her and smiles, bending down slightly, "Wouldn't you like me to at least try?" He asks in a teasing tone, the smirk never leaving his lips as he leans forward and kisses her cheek.

Poppy smiles more. As she softly giggles. Looking up at him "If you think you can find out then give it a shot Eli." She teases him back. Her breath catches in her throat. What was he planning on doing to find out? He was a charmer a real good one .

Eli grins mischievously before leaning down and putting his lips on Poppy's. He didn't hold her, nor cage her in. He didn't want her to feel trapped nor like she was being forced to do anything. But he legitimately liked her, and he just couldn't stop himself from showing her.

Poppy was a little shocked at first that his lips were on hers. But she softly closes her eyes. As she softly kisses Eli back. She couldn't help but like him. He made her laugh and really happy. This is going to make her time much better. She Had Eli to be around.

Eli smiles softly against Poppy's lips, gently moving his hands to rest on her hips as he tilts his head to the side and deepens the kiss a bit.

Poppy brings her hands to rest on Eli shoulders. His lips were very soft. Poppy was enjoying the kiss very much. She hoped that they would get to kiss more. She doesn't push Eli away. Even though her thoughts were all over. With everything that he told her. She was just going to let it go. Eli was who he was. She was just glad that she met him.

Eli pulls back from the kiss with a soft smile on his face. "Poppy... Was that okay?" He asks, reaching up and tucking a bit of hair behind her ear. "Was it okay.. To kiss you?"

Smiling as she looks up at Eli. "Yes Eli it was ok that you kissed. I enjoyed it very much." Her hands not moving from his shoulders. "I hope that it was ok that I kissed you back Eli?" She asks him.

Eli grins happily as he nods, "More than okay." He says honestly, leaning down and kissing her again.

Poppy smiles on his lips. As she kisses him back softly. Cuddling to Eli as the kissed. She enjoyed being close to him.

Eli wraps his arms around Poppy's waist, pulling her a bit closer as he deepens the kiss a bit, a smile still upon his own lips.

Poppy giggles, she can't keep her smile off her face. She never thought she would be kissing a guy she just met. Let alone a vampire. But she liked him for who is. Holding tighter to Eli.
