We have Chemistry

Honey spared a moment of her work time to look at Tadashi. She could see his muscles moving though his shirt, and it kind of made her want to stare just a second longer. But as soon as she realized she was staring, she turned back to her work with a flushed face.

Tadashi frowned as he looked at the frame for his project. It was too small to fit together properly. He sighed as he scrapped yet another piece of sheet metal.


He looked over to Honey.


"I hope your project is turning out better than mine.", already carrying out another sheet of metal.

Honey looked at him and nodded. "If all is well, I might finish the paralysis serum and make a chem ball of that too." She said.

Tadashi looked wearily at his blueprint. He was missing something, something that held the entire thing together.


Then he got an idea.


"Say, you wouldn't happen to be able to make that paralysis serum into a gas would you?"

Honey smiled and nodded. "I might be able to, why?" She asked him.

 

[Sungwonc01]

"Oh no reason. Just it may have something to do with your birthday gift." He smiled teasingly.


He looked over his plans. He might be able to finish before Christmas after all.

Honey raised an eyebrow. "Alright." She said with a smile.

Tadashi took out a hammer and started hammering. After a while, he turned to look at Honey. He stared at her for a few seconds when he remembered what he was doing a few moments too late.


"Fffffffff-Gah that really Hurts..." Tadashi sputtered after he had hit his own thumb with a hammer. He could already hear Baymax activating from his office.

Honey looked over as she heard sounds of pain and anguish. She rushed over to Tadahi, looking at him. "You ok?" She asked.

"Mmmmhhhhmmmm, yeah I'm okay I just got..." ,Tadashi looked Honey Lemon in the eyes, "Distracted by somebody. I mean not somebody but something."


Tadashi reeeeally hoped he hadn't cracked a nail. It would only serve to complicate his life even more.

Honey looked up at him, cracking a small smile before she looked at his thumb, gingerly. She sighed, seeing that it was swelled and puffy. "You need to be more careful." She said to him, flicking his forehead softly before seeing Baymax enter the room.

Tadashi let out a small, amused smile.


"I suppose we both could a bit more safe."


He let out a sigh as Baymax clambered out of his office.


"Alright big guy, scan me and let's get this over with."


"My scan indicates you have slight bruising and swelling on your left thumb. Your hormonal levels are unusually high, you may be experiencing what many call lov-"


"Okay then Baymax I am satisfied with my care and you can ummmm go recharge."


Tadashi was very red in both of his cheeks.

Tadashi let out a small, amused smile.


"I suppose we both could be a bit more safe."


He let out a sigh as Baymax clambered out of his office.


"Alright big guy, scan me and let's get this over with."

Honey blushed at Baymax's diagnosis. She coughed lightly, pulling one of her strands of hair behind her ear. "Well then. Need any help with your thumb?" She asked calmly, looking at him.

"Eheheh robots these days eh? Got a few kinks to work out. But yeah I'm fine really."


Tadashi's cheeks were still red from Baymax's diagnosis. He would have to fix his scanner, it was picking up false readings. Tadashi couldn't be in love, could he?

Honey smiled a little bit, pinching his cheek. "You are such a silly boy." She said, taking his hand and looking at his thumb. 'It should be fine." She said softly.

Tadashi smiled and rolled his eyes.


"Well you aren't the most serious minded person either."


Tadashi's thumb was intact, albeit a little bruised and swollen but nothing to yell about.


"Well then, I guess its back to work."

Honey smiled, looking at him with a smile. She punched his arm playfully, relishing in the feeling of his skin in hers as she turned back to her station.

"Oooofff." Tadashi winced playfully.


He turned to the frame of his project. He resumed hammering it without being distracted by Honey Lemon.

Honey smiled as she continued her work

Tadashi took a step back to admire his work.

He still had to add the thrusters that would allow it to fly and he still had to add the artificial intelligence, but the basic layout was complete.


He put the robot behind his back and shuffled to his office. He had intended for it to be a christmas gift and had to keep it hidden from Honey Lemon.

Honey could hear shuffling and after a bit she turned around, only to find Tadashi gone. She shrugged and went back to her work, carefully putting things together.

Tadashi almost dropped the robot onto the table. It was surprisingly heavy for its size and caused a bit of a thud. Tadashi was ready to get started on the inside of the robot, but first!


It had to have a cool name.


Tadashi spent a good few minutes just thinking and staring at the frame.

Honey finally finished the serum and she jumped for joy, taking a picture before filling a syringe with it. She smiled and looked for someone to test it on, or something.

"Anne Droid, I'll call it- I mean her Anne Droid."


Tadashi smiled as he took out the pink spray paint, blissfully unaware of Honey Lemon's search for test subjects.
