Sweet. I was looking to do a ki specialist with an equipment-summoning- or transformation-based Qua Fashia so that works out nicely. Though at the moment, I'm unsure if I want to swing a (probably made of water or ice) weapon around or just throw hands... That's probably a decision I'll sleep on for now.

For full disclosure, my long term plan for this idea is to develop a "storm/hurricane" theme that mixes hydrokinesis with air pressure martial arts shenaniganery since I was inspired by sea dragon king myths. So yeah.

Alrighty, so how are we setting up our first post? Will we simply introduce our characters in the story, like showing how they came to be at the academy or something like that? It's a bit difficult to position myself into the introduction since the first post is entirely about Neb's past. Should I wait for you to make a second post about the academy first?

this is a good question! this is why i was gunna post academy stuff in my first post too! but thought my post was already getting long

either A. peeps can post their own introductory charrie posts similar to mine
or B. I can make another academy post and that should clarify where our charries will be! :>

also just because we'll be starting off in the academy does not mean your character has to be "Academy aged"
the academy generally accepts anyone, so late bloomers can join it too or even younger chars

what do u mean exactly?
"air bubbles" arent something hydrokinetics can do. since thats something like airkinesis right?
but trapping air in bubbles of water to descend underwater? thats totally feasible and isnt qua fashia. thats basically a fundamental technique for wave crashers to learn eventually

yes you can use hydrokinesis to hold in air for that! but its using water to trap air, not controlling air itself

but if its someones hydrokinesis then it should probs be reinforced to a degree, but yes, otherwise it could be popped, then youd be in trouble, since you cant create air
