Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

"I'm happy about it almost being over." Solana said, taking joy in Alex holding her hand. "Then I can go home or something... I just want to get out of school."

"I'm letting her speak! Never, ever, ever!" Zori responded.

Alex nodded, "do you want to go to your house after schook then the party?" He asks, pulling out of the parking spot and heading toward school.

"Oh yes, that would be wonderful." Solana said with a nod. "I need to get changed for it and try to come up with some excuse why I won't be home."

"Aww that sucks. I really wanted to hear your secrets." Regan looks up at him and gives him the puppy dog eyes, hoping he would fall for it.

Alex nodded, "you want me to pick you up around five? Cause I'm probably gonna go to my place and change also." He smiles lightly, as they they near school.

Zori blushed, looking away from her before mumbling a no. He heard the bell and smiled, letting a struggling Nami go who fell to the floor with a yelp.

"Look at that, we have to go to class now. Let's go Regan." Zori said, literally throwing the girl over his shoulder and rushing out of the cafeteria.

"That would be nice. Thanks Alex." Solana said, smiling at him.

Alex nodded, parking his car and getting out. He threw his bag over his shoulder, and he locked the car. The sun danced over his coal black hair, giving it a brown tint, and kissed at his skin. He takes her hand in his gently, intertwining their fingers.

Regan squeaked in surprise when Zori threw her over his shoulder. "What was that all about?" she asked, putting herself down once they were out the cafeteria. She chuckled softly as she straightened out her clothes.

Solana held his hand tightly and leaned a bit closer to him, sending him a small smile. She bit her lip, loving the way the sunlight looked on him. A small blush came to her face and she looked down, resting her cheek on his shoulder.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it." Zori said, sending her a small smile as they walked. He thought to himself for a second before blinking as an idea popped into his head. "Hey, what are you dong tonight?"

Regan dropped it then shrugged. "I dunno. Probably just gonna go home and watch tv. Then eat, watch some more tv then fall asleep." Regan looked at Zori with a sheepish grin.

"WELL THEN!" Zori shouted. "Looks like you have different plans. There's a party. I'm taking you and Syo with me. No arguing. You're going."

"Wait, w-what?" Regan stuttered, looking at Zori surprised. "I might not even be able to go. My parents are pissed. And...who's even throwing this party anyway?"

Alex walked into school, holding Solana's hand tightly. Kassidy looked over and smiles politely. "Hey, you guys!!" She calls, walking away from Rennie and a few of her other friends to talk to Alex and solana. "Are you guys coming tonight?" She looks to Solana, then Alex. Alex nods, "yeah, we'll be there around Five." Kassidy smiles, "that's great!"

Rennie glares at Solana, before looking back to her friends. Kassidy looks over and rolls her pretty eyes, "Don't let her get to you, She's all bark, no bite." Kassidy smiles, giggling softly. "Kassidy!" Rennie barks, Kassidy smiles again, "see you guys tonight!" She waves and returns to Rennie, and the small group walks off to class.

"This girl named Kassidy. She's one of the cheerleaders." Zori said, looking at Regan. HE gave her a small smile. "Trust me- It won't be bad for you. Kassidy's a really nice girl and she wouldn't mind you two coming. Your parents however... We can just sneak you out." He said, smiling at her.

Solana walks in with Alex and immediately notices Rennie. She frowns a bit, and turns away from the girl before looking at Kassidy. "Thanks for letting me come." She said softly. She nodded her head. "I won't. Bye!" She called before glancing up at Alex. "She's sweet."

Regan raised her eyebrows then started to walk towards their next class slowly. "I didn't know you were the rebellious type, Zori" she teased. "My dad's working late tonight but my mom gets off earlier on Fridays."

Alex and her walk toward class, "she is, and she isn't a hoe like Rennie. She is still Virgin from what I hear." He shrugs, taking a drink from his soda that he took to go from the cafe. He approached class and Alex stopped just outside clas, "Solana, do you mind if I do something, really quick?"

"We could always knock her out or something." Zori said with a small shrug and grin to show he was teasing. "But we'll find a way. There has to be something we can do to get you out to go to this party."

Solana made a small noise, nodding her head at Alex. She hadn't expected him to stop suddenly and ran into him. "Oh um, yeah sure." She said, giving him a confused look.

Alex strokes Solana's cheek, before tilting her head up and kissing her. His lips were velvet soft, and tasted like Coke. He's cheeks grew hot as he kissed her deeply, passionately, making it last before pulling away gently. He looked at her lips and bit his lower lip, before looking into her eyes with passion.

Solana looked up at him, smiling softly when he stroked her cheek. Her eyes widened in surprise when he kissed her and she squeaked in surprise. It took a few more seconds but she returned the kiss, letting her arms wrap around his neck as she pulled him close, her eyes closing. She looked up at him when he pulled away, her cheeks a dark red as she bit her lip.

"That actually doesn't sound too bad" Regan mumbled as she looked down at her feet. "I'm just joking" she added quickly. "You know what, I have a better idea. I don't have to go to the party. There problem solved" Regan said happily, throwing her arms up. "Just take Syo with you."

Zori raised an eyebrow. "...You don't want to go to the party with us? It'll be fun... I won't ditch you or anything at the party. I promise. Unless you want me to leave you like if you find some guy and I'm just getting in the way or something." Zori said with a shrug, laughing a bit though not too much. "...On second thought- I wouldn't leave your side. Even if there was a guy."

"It's not that I don't wanna go with you guys it's just most of the people there I wouldn't know except you and Syo." Regan sighed and gave in. "Fine, I'll go." She smiled then looked at Zori. "Why not? If you found a girl and I was getting in the way, maybe I would leave" she shrugged.

Alex smiled, "let's get to class." He said softly, before taking her hand and walking into class. Rennie was sitting with her yappy friends, and Alex sat down , beckoning Solana to sit beside him.

"Yes!" Zori cheered. "You'll have fun, I promise! You met a lot of the athletes today! They won't keep you ostracized!" He thought about it for a few seconds before shrugging. "Who says I'm still looking? Maybe I already found what I wanted." He replied, sending her a grin before humming to himself.

Solana slowly nodded her head, following behind Alex in somewhat of a daze. She walked into the class and disregarded Rennie and her friends. She sat down next to Alex, her hold on his hand tightening just a little bit.

Alex smiled, kissing her hand. The second bell rang, and Alex got out his binder and a pen. He watched the teacher chat with a student about them just watching a movie today for geography. The movie being the book of life, since they are studying cultures of other places and religions.
