Solana could feel herself stop breathing when he turned to look at her. She stared back, biting her lip. A few seconds later she turned away, blushing brightly as she quickly got out the car.


"You just missed them being idiots is all." Zori answered Regan with a shrug and lazy grin.

Alex snorted softly, getting out of the car. "Brat." He teases as he wraps his arm around her, squeezing her Gently.

"I am not a brat..." Solana mumbled, smiling at the feel of his arm around her. She let out a small giggle when he squeezed her and she buried her face into his side, hiding the smile on her face.

He walks with her up to the Cafe, rubbing her shoulder gently. "Get whatever you want." He says as he slips his hand down to grip around her waist.

"All I want is a small chocolate pastry and an iced tea. I have a fruit bowl in my bag that I made before we left." She said with a nod, sending Alex a smile as she leaned closer to him, enjoying the warmth he gave her.

He nodded, evaluating their choices. He decided on a famous hamburger sold by the cafe, and a Coke, before ordering a chocolate pastry, with an iced team. He sat in a booth with her, taking her hand in his, and rubbing it gently.

Solana let him order, looking around before following him into the booth. She blushed, looking down at their hands before looking back up at him. "And what do you think you're doing now?" She asked, her voice soft.

"Aww" Regan pouted slightly but then it was quickly replaced with a smile. "What did they do?" She wished she could've seen them act like idiots.

"Well Lapis over there decided it'd be funny to mix up a whole bunch of drinks and test it out on his burger hence why he's over there by the garbage." Zori started, pointing at the wrenching boy.


"Those two idiots had some kind of literal thumb war. We Think Marcus sprained his thumb. Nami over here has already had two guys argue over her. The usual idiocy."

Alex smiles, "holding your hand." He says without blushing. He looks toward the window smiling gently.

Solana smiles gently at him, looking back down at their hands. She lets her thumb rub across his palms, a contented sigh leaving her lips.

Alex smiles gently, their food comes and Alex let's go of her hand so he can firmly hold his burger while he Takes a bite.

Nani smiles, drinking her iced tea before taking a small bite of her pastry. She made a small noise of enjoyment at the taste. "This is good..."

Alex nodded, "I really like this place, it's small, comfortable, and cheap." He smiles, taking a sip of his coke.

Solana smiled. "It is small and comfortable... I could see myself spending hours just reading in here." She said, looking around. "So calm and peaceful in here."

Regan looked at everyone as Zori pointed them out and laughed to herself. "Ah so all the funny stuff happens while I'm gone. That's not fair."

Zori snickered at her a smile on his face. "Don't worry, you're not missing out. They do something stupid all the time. There's plenty of other chances." He said with a laugh.

"Okay then. So what stupid things do you do then?" Regan teased, nudging Zori's arm lightly. "If your friends do something stupid then you do too, right?"

Alex nodded, taking another bite of his burger. After awhile he finishes his burger, and sigh. "You ready to go back to school?" He asks as he wipes his mouth with a napkin.

Zori looked t her and snorted. "Me?"


"He was forced to tell his secrets." Nami chimed in, causing Zori to blush. "Shut it Nami!"


Solana looks up at him and nods, sending him a smile. "I'm ready."

 

[FestiFries]

"Ooh what kind of secrets?" Regan asks, suddenly interested even more. She glances back at Nami then Zori, waiting for someone to say something.

He nods, he payed for the food and walked to the front, he opened the door for Solana and smiles Politely. Taking out his keys.

"Well we were talking about y-"


"You stop right there woman! I'll have none of this!" Zori exclaimed, having jumped over and slapped his hand over Nami's mouth. She squeaked and Zori began to drag her away from the group slowly.


"Thank you Alex." Solana says softly, letting her hand reach up and caress his cheek as she walked passed him.

Alex smiles and takes her hand in his. He walks to the car with her, unlocking it. He gets into the car and starts it, "The day is almost over, thank god." He smiles

Regan held her sides as she broke into hysterical laughter. "You should have let the girl speak" she said, still laughing her head off at the way Zori had reacted.
