Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Alex pulls onto the main road and drives toward the school, he huff before taking her hand out if her mouth Gently by taking it into his own. Holding her hand gently "Don't do that, Solana. that's a bad habit." He smiles lightly but it vanishes quickly. "What's up with you?" He says as he approaches the school parking lot.

"If it happens again then I'll let you put them in their place. But for now, let it be." Regan walked into the class and sat down towards the back of the class, frowning a bit when she overhears a couple kids talking about Butch again.

Solana jumps when Alex touches her, her wide eyes turning to look at him. She listens, dropping her hand in her lap as it clenches into a fist.

"He..." She began, looking up at the school. She took a shaky breath and turned to smile at him though it didn't reach her eyes. "I'm fine Alex. Just fine."

Zori grumbles a bit but listens to Regan, following her to class. He hears the students talking about Butch and scowls.

"Seriously, you don't have anything better to talk about?" He asked them, his voice cold and eyes darker than normal. "Find some new topic to talk about in your pathetic lives."

Alex furrows his brow, parking his car. "that's a lie and you know it, now talk to me." He grabs his bag, looking at her.

Regan glanced at the group of kids. They snickered a bit but stopped talking about Butch, changing the subject. She watched Zori and motioned for him to sit next to her. "Are you okay?" she asked softly.

"Alex, we're going to be late to class. I don't want to be late. Just drop it okay?" She asked him, giving him a small frown. Without waiting for a reply she quickly got out the car, grabbing her bag and walking away from the car to the school.

Zori looked at her and slowly nodded his head. "Yeah, I'm fine. It just pisses me off that people have nothing better to talk about than that."

"Yeah, I know what you mean" Regan mumbled. She took out her books and a pen. "I don't like how they're talking about him either."

Alex sighed angrily, he swung his bag over his shoulder and slammed his car door. He locked the car, and walked up toward the school, ignoring a few of the football players who called his name. His dark eyes were hard and not as bright as usual, he was irritated now.

"I don't think he was that bad either. He was an okay guy. A little on the crazy side sure but he was alright." Zori said with a small chuckle.

Despite being halfway across the courtyard to enter the school, Solana could still hear the slamming of his car. She winced but kept walking. Instead of stopping at her locker she walked straight to class, ignoring Zori and Regan and sitting in her seat. She pulled her hair from its ponytail and hid behind it, her shoulder hunched over.

Alex walked into class, he ignored Regan and Zori, before sitting behind Solana. He kept his eyes off her and off their friends. He got a pen out of his bag, taking absent minded notes as the teacher began explaining stuff that will be on an upcoming test.

"He was kind of nice too" Regan said with a smile, remembering how he gave her a ride home and also got her phone back for her. She tried to say hi to Solana and Alex as they passed but they both seemed to be in a bad mood. She turned around to glance at them. "What's wrong with them?" she asked as she turned back around.

Solana stiffens as Alex walks past her but doesn't bother looking up at him. She can feel him sitting behind her and bites her lip. She can't pay attention too much. Her hand never touches the pen that sits on her desk. She simply sits there.

"I have no idea..." Zori said, looking back at his two friends with a frown. Something happened. "I guess we can ask after class..."

(( @FestiFries You ninja'd me with your post xD ))

Alex eventually spaces out ignoring everything and everyone else, before asking to use the restroom. He leaves class and walks to the bathroom.

"Yeah, maybe we'll ask later when they cool down." Regan picked up her pen then started to write the notes that were on the board, actually paying attention.

Solana glances up, watching Alex leave the room. She bites her lip and after a few minutes, asks if she can go as well. She's denied the access and sighs. She'll talk to Alex later. At lunch. Maybe.

Zori nods at Regan. "Yeah because they certainly need it..." He agreed before going to stare out the window.

Alex walks out if the bathroom, rubbing his damp hands on his pants. "Alex!" A shriek made him jump, Rennie stood with a few of her friends. Alex rolls his eyes and keeps walling but Rennie is persistent, she grabs his arm and clings to him. "Alexxx, I missed you yesterday." He sighs, peeling Rennie off of him, and keeps walking. He is down the hall when she grabs him. "Rennie, I seriously don't like you." She looks taken, then draws back her hand and slaps Alex's bad cheek. Anger surges through him, yet he only clenched a fist, and growls. "Stay out of my car, and my life Rennie." he snaps, his cheek burning slightly. "Or you'll regret it." A few gasps from her friends as he walks back into class. His cheek red, and clearly angrier.

Regan tried to stay focused but her mind eventually wondered off into other things. She sighed then put her head down on the desk. She felt like she'd already been in the class for a long time when really it just started not too long ago.

Zori accidentally falls asleep in the class, his head resting on his arms.

Solana looks up at Alex and sees that he's angrier than before. She bites her lip, looking away.

((Works for me.))

Zori walked sluggishly through the halls, yawning as he went. He'd slept in all of the classes they'd had and was still feeling a bit sluggish from having just woken up.

"Wonderful naps... Beautiful naps." He sang to himself.

Solana stood at her locker, staring at her books. She reached out to grab one but found that she couldn't bring herself to touch them. With a sigh, she shut the locker and walked to the cafeteria by herself before plopping down at her usual table.
