Realistic or Modern Washington High School: Student Chronicles

Regan laughed again then shook her head. "No, not really. Just wanted to see your reaction." She continued to look then stopped on a tv series. "How about American Horror Story then?"

Zori nodded. "Yeah, I can get with that one. The show is so weird." He said with a smile.

"That's why I like it." Regan chose the movie then put the remote down as it started to play. "You've seen it before?"

Zori shook his head. "Not all of it. I've seen about two episodes of the first season and then after that I never really got the chance to." He said.

"Okay we'll be watching this for a while unless you get tired of it and want to change it." Regan sat back and relaxed as they watched the show.

Zori made a small noise, nodding as he leaned into the couch, a soft sigh leaving his lips. "I'm all down for it."

(Don't worry, I'm just posting this 'cause I'm bored, lol, you don't have to read it. I'm not doing a time skip yet either)

After Syo had left Zori's car and waved goodbye to the both of them, she turned and headed

towards her house. She'd walked home this route so many times, she swore she could do it

with her eyes closed.

It was still kind of light out despite the time, so she had no problems navigating her way

there - that, and her house wasn't that hard to miss. Her mum had always hated it, saying it

looked too run down, that it needed a fixing up, but Syo didn't think she agreed. Sure, it did

kind of look run down, but she was fairly certain that was why she liked it so much.

It was part house, and part corner shop, all owned by her dad. In an attempt to make it look

more appealing and make it stand out, he'd painted a giant rainbow across the front of the

building - Syo remembered the day clearly, with her not being allowed to help out since he

didn't trust an 8 year old with a ladder, nor paint, so she just sat cross legged on the floor

drinking coke and watching him do it. Seven years later and it was still there, albeit the

paint had run slightly, and it was kinda worn out. He'd painted the window shutters bright

blue, too, but he'd managed to maintain them, so they looked less worn. The roof tiles were

cracked and uneven, and the pipe that ran up the front of the building was bent, splashes of

blue paint staining it here and there, and looking up at it, she knew her mum was right - it WAS

run down - but she was convinced it worked more in it's favour.

Regan watched many episodes of American Horror Story with Zori and halfway through the season she started to feel sleepy, slowly drifting off into a light sleep.

Alex fluttered his eyelids as she played with his hair, he sighed in a relaxed manner, his cheeks flushed lightly. He loves when someone played with his hair, it has always been amazing to him since his mother used to play with his hair as a young child, whenever they were cuddling or when he was sick.

Solana glanced at him, a small smile on her face. She was happy he hadn't pulled away from her touch. She continued playing in his hair as she continued to read, growing more tired with every minute.

Zori glanced over at Regan and a soft smile came to his face. He never would have thought that he'd be friends with someone who was so different, yet just like him. He'd never branched out from his clique of athletes yet here he was- talking to a girl who was classified as a loner. He was upset with himself that he hadn't done it any quicker.

Alex sighed heavily, before wrapping his arms around her waist, resting his head on her lower stomach. He kept his eyes shut as he began to drift to sleep

Regan's eyes fluttered open a couple times as she tried desperately not to fall asleep. She finally gave in and let herself get comfortable before she fell asleep.

Solana stiffened in surprise when his arms wrapped around her waist. She bit her lip, glancing down at him but couldn't bring herself to move away. She turned the TV off and even dog-eared her book, placing it on her nightstand. She went back to looking at Alex, running her fingers through his hair as she hummed softly.

Zori grinned, chuckling in amusement as he watched Regan try to stay awake. He knew he probably should have taken her home but he couldn't bring himself to force her. Instead he stood, walking over and grabbing one of the many blankets there were down in the basement. He placed it over her, ruffling her hair softly. "Sleep now Regan..." He whispered before sitting back down to watch the rest of the season.

Alex began to drift into a heavy slumber.

He could feel the chill of the wind against his skin, the lights flashing blue and white. a man stood with the barrel of a gun pointed at him.. he seemed angry at Alex, and then Alex noticed Solana in his grip by her hair, and a red pointer on the man's chest.

Alex then heard it, the bang as a lead bullet carved through his chest, the burn of blood pouring over his organs due to internal bleeding. He gasped for breath, then another bang and the man released Solana. He could feel her running her fingers through his hair, as his world began to darken, she was crying, aND saying something but Alex couldn't hear her, as everything finally went dark.

Alex's eyelids flutter as he dreams

Solana sighed, resting against her wall as she closed her eyes. She glanced down at Alex a small frown coming to her face. His peaceful look... It didn't look peaceful anymore. He looked a bit... Troubled?

"It's okay Alex..." She said softly. Her hand caressed his cheek. "Everything's alright."

Regan mumbled something inaudible when she felt the blanket fall on top of her. Something about how she couldn't stay over for the night. Despite her failed protests, she curled up into a ball on the couch, hugging the blanket around her body.

"I'll take you home early in the morning Regan." Zori said, knowing she probably wasn't even awake to listen to him. "I will take the blame here. No problem." He said before going upstairs to change. He came back down after saying goodnight to his parents before getting back on his couch. He wrapped himself up in his blanket and before long was asleep himself.

Throughout the night Regan constantly twisted and turned, trying to find a comfortable position but found it hard to do so since couches weren't that comfortable anyway.

Zori slept peacefully, having grown accustomed to the couches though he still woke up around 2 in the morning. He always woke up then to get a small snack before sleeping for another two hours until it was time to go work out. He noticed Regan's tossing and turning and sighed. Standing up, he picked the girl up in his arms and gently walked her over to his room, placing her down on the bed and covering her in the blanket before leaving the room to get a snack.

Regan was half awake when Zori brought her upstairs. She smiled slightly with her eyes closed when she felt the bed then mumbled a quiet thank you. It was much more comfortable than the couch and soon she was able to sleep peacefully.

Alex could hear her now, his world was bright as he stood alone in a golden meadow. Then he saw her, the sun dancing over Her brown curly hair, and kissing her skin.

Alex approached her slowly, his heart racing. She looked peaceful, and glad to see him. She slung her arms around him, and he swayed slightly, embracing her tightly. She spoke sweet and smooth like honey, words of comfort.

Zori glanced down at her when he carried her. His mind thought of her as he grabbed his usual snack of chocolate pudding. Grabbing a spoon he made his way back to his room, closing the door behind him. He plopped down onto the floor, eating his pudding and after a few minutes fell asleep, his back leaning on the bed.

Solana smiled as his face turned peaceful once again. She tugged at his hair lightly before running it through as she closed her eyes. She maneuvered herself so that she could lay down and still play with his hair. After a few more minutes she began to doze off.

Alex slept soundly, gently clinging to Solana.

(Time skip? You guys can do a time skip, I'm going to bed!! Goodnight!)
