Brooke walked silently to a group of people, not having a clue what happened. She stayed hidden, so no one would see her. "What's going on?" She wondered.
Eriana would sense a presense approaching them and stopping. She took a mental note of it but did not react. I dont know whi that is but they hopefully their not an enemy.. She thought.
David stepped towards Eriana, "Why did you take the test? What reason would you have for wanting to command me?" He asked again, this time with a minuscule bit of irritation.
David's head snapped in the direction of the girl who was hiding, noticing that Eriana's attention had broken for a brief second. He aimed his hand at her, his chained scythe flying out of his robe sleeve and flying towards the girl. He was going to bury the scythe into the girl's back and drag her out of hiding.
Eriana sensed his slight irritation and assumed he wasnt going to like her answer. "I didnt have a reason that involves controlling you. One of the members of my faction took the test and died. And all i could think about is that I didnt want my faction to be further hurt than it already is. The obelisk said that if they failed then you'd cause chaos and that meant my faction could be in danger. So I did before I thought and took the test." She replies. Eriana looks in the direction thathis scythe was aimed at. Well hopefully that person can dodge quickly. She thought.
Brooke felt the air bend as the scythe flew towards her body. She leaped out her hiding spot and away from the weapon. She looked coldly at the boy. Maybe these were her enemies after all.
David's chained scythe whipped back into hiding in his robes, his eyes locked onto the stranger. The scythe had caused a rather large mark in the earth from where it struck, obviously looking like it would hurt to have been caught by it. He remained silent and didn't respond to Eriana's explanation. "....."
Eriana never lied unless it was absolutely necessary. She liked the blunt truth. Sensing the wind pick up with her reaction, Eriana concluded that she must be able to control the wind. "Chose to believe me or not but I speak the truth."
Somehow the ice slowly fell away. Probably due to the lack of attention. Night mare stumbled out in her normal form. Shifting to her non dark shadow from, she darted into the Cryo forest where she had felt darkness earlier. She stopped and let her shadows flood the area. Not harming, just scouting and testing the main source had felt, David.
"Call me a boy again, and I will show you true power...." Six chained scythes came out of the back of his robe, each one aimed at Brooke ready to strike. "You are but a child that I will skewer into oblivion..." His expression was calm but his intent was serious. The shadow coming from the one scouting was stopped short from David's own dark aura.
Brooke glared at the boy. " Your petty knives don't scare me. And I am not a child, for I can take a slight insult better than you can take an entire beating." The wind picked up again.
