In shadow from, nightmare herself approaches David. She allows her shadows to surround her and she smiled, even though you can't see her face. She looked at David curiously. @Tetro
David's scythes went into the earth, moving beneath the ground rapidly. Five scythes burst from below the ground up at the girl, each one aiming to hook themselves into her. David didn't mind Nightmare getting close to him, since she wasn't really doing anything. He wasn't even remotely phased by what she said, "Pitiful words of spite... Pathetic...." He shook his head in disappointment.
Brooke's image blew away, having the scythes attach to nothing but air. She materialized behind him. " You are not the only one with power." The wind howled, instantly turned to tornado weather. Trees bent, and bits of grass flew from the ground.
Brooke bent the air so that the woman won't get blown away. She once again focuses all her energy at the boy, not feeling drained at all. @Tetro@Libra259
David, without looking, had a scythe readied right behind him. The moment Brooke appeared behind him it was already heading straight into her faster than the blink of an eye. He was rooted, the wind not affecting him due to his darkness keeping him in place. He simply stood his ground.
The scythe passed through Brooke, not even slightly affecting her. " Could you try a little harder? I'd hate to make you feel inferior." She looked at him. The wind picked up. The trees make sharp popping sounds as their roots came out of the grounds. Why couldn't she use her full power? Because she didn't want to kill everyone around her, like she's done so many times before when she lost control.
David's scythe immediately erupted in flames, the chain spinning around rapidly and literally burning Brooke to death. Yes the chain wasn't going to hurt her since she could change into air, but he could burn the air with his fire. David turned to look at Brooke, the swirling fire chain keeping her from escaping by any means due to it's suction. "....Your words, they are better used on beings with feelings." His expression was calm as ever. He kept at it, the air around him and Brooke burning hotter and hotter. David's darkness formed an air tight barrier around them both that even cut them off from the ground before Brooke had any chance to react to the fire chain or his words.
Brooke flinched as the fire burned. It was hot. " Keep burning me, i don't mind." The wind died off. She glared at him. " Just know, you'll never live to see the day, even if I die before you."
David was about to nuke the entirety of the inside of the barrier, which would incinerate literally everything within. Before he could though, an enchantment stopped him. He blinked, realizing that without Eriana's command he wasn't allowed to actually kill anyone. David phased through the barrier, but kept the fire spinning within like an eternal prison for Brooke. He looked at Eriana, "....Let me kill her." He spoke plainly.
Brooke watched as the dark and fire almost enclosed around her, then paused. " You have aaaaaallll the time in the world." She sighed and rolled her eyes. She did NOT like waiting to die. It wasn't fun. @Tetro@Libra259
David's chains and scythes went back into his robes, and the fire, along with the darkness, went away as well. "You are a merciful person.... I like that..." David expressed himself for the first time to Eriana. He stood beside her and simply waited, not having anything to do. "...."
Brooke silently breathes in a breath of fresh air. She glares at the boy once again. " I still don't like or trust you." She looks at the girl, " Yeah, fine."
Eriana shot the snow into the sky and it rained down on them. The snowflakes dances in the slight breeze and swirled around her hand. What to do...? What to do?...
"Such a short sighted being you are.... A shame it is you that I am to obey..." He replied without missing a beat. David knew exactly what her deal was, but he had to go about things her way anyways.
