I adore it, too! But, I'm going to go ahead and say what most fans of it dread: I severely disliked Homura. I did right off the bat, and the end did nothing to help that. On the other hand, I disliked Madoka for a bit, afraid she was going to be the cliched, I-am-the-all-powerful-and-most-important heroine. It's why, when she actually turned out to be relatable and realistic in her uncertainty, I grew an intense liking for her character. Of course, I liked Sayaka and Kyoko the most. Mainly Sayaka, because she was flawed in that she wanted to do good, but the way she went about it was pretty much self-destructive. I ramble a lot, lol.
