Fantasy Virterde Chronicles: Gifted Ones

Gabriel heard a humming coming from the back alley, for once his head began to ring as if his head are split open. Gabriel have a slight flashback, it was in open field and Gabriel saw a young long hair girl with a blurry face stand next to him, "Gabriel.." the voice of the girl matches to the humming sound. Gabriel quickly flew over to the top of back alley and found a girl kneeled, the girl was covered in dirt. "...Maria?... is that the girl?" Gabriel went closer to the girl and found out that there was an injured cat. "...It's rare to see such a humble heart in this messed up world..." as he about to touched the girl, another flashback coming. The long haired girl spoke to him once more but she was offering her hand this time, "Gabriel... remember.. ..." Gabriel couldn't get to the end of her talked. What's with these sudden flashback? oh dear Creator I don't know how to react, maybe this is your answer, the answer I've been waiting for. Alas, Gabriel took a deep breath before approaching the girl once more.

"Oh dear holy creator blessed her for she had a humble heart, a rare nomad like her should be blessed, In the name of Creator I bless you," Gabriel's whole body emits light that it glows over the back alley, the young girl soon trapped in a sphere of light, there were ancient form of writing circulating the sphere. "MAKARIOS!" Gabriel's voice echoed over the back alley and soon the light dissapeared as well as the light sphere around the young girl, "Young ones, you've shown me a kind heart and I, Gabriel Geneviel, will protect you even we don't form a contract." Gabriel was touched by the young girl's action, he never seen anyone was kind enough to care a more lowly being than themselves, he decided to protect the girl from any behatedness even if she isn't a medium.

Conner was still searching for a song when he heard some humming. It was nothing he'd listen to regularly, but it seemed to fit what he wanted. He needed to find this person and find out what that song was. Most people couldn't hear him, but asking was still a good first try.
(@EternalMusic , and seriously guys, and gals, stop liking the posts. I woke up this morning with 13 alerts, and only 4 of them actually to do with rps that I'm in.)

(Sorry no can do, but we can try to settle down ^^)

Aria took a look around her and noticed a boy flying about she wasn't sure who he was and what he was ding but to her he looked like a lost puppy. Deciding to strike up a conversation with this strange being, Aria skipped over and smiled brightly at the boy. HEr silver hair bouncing around her as she made her way to him.

"Hello there~!"

Jumping back at the bit that she talked to him first, Conner quickly settles down, both in the mental and physical term, and sets both his feet firmly-ish on the ground. "Hello. Um.. I heard I think it was you humming something and I need some music to listen to so I was just wondering, could you tell me the name of the song you were humming?"

Aria watched as the boy placed his two feet on the ground and ask her about the song she was humming before.

"Oh~! I was singing "You have a Partner in Me" from one of the Disnerd movies."

(Sorry copyright issues so whenever I say Disnerd just know I mean Disney ^^)

"Isn't that the one from that movie about toys?" Conner asked, giving her a strange look. But still looking it up, thank goodness spirits still get internet access, and it seemed to fit what he was looking for. "I think you meant, 'You got a friend in me'."

(I changed the name due to copyright issues ^^)

Aria shook her head and smiled, "Nope that was the song I was singing."

She ran her fingers through her long hair and looked at the boy. Wait... Is he a beloved? She didn't say anything but only stared at the boy with the dark hair.

Rien stood rigid and silent at he corner of the room, unsure of what exactly to do. The usual premise of contracts he had made before didn't quite exactly prepare him for such a scenario. Yes, there had been countless times where he had to persuade the mortal into becoming his host but has long since come to the terms that tricking them was far easier than explanations. It seemed as though they preferred sweet words and prolonged kisses instead of the reality and solid facts of the decision they were making. He moved to the almost equally decrepit kitchen and raised an inquisitive eye brow as he watched the girl prepare some coffee. If she was intending to have made some for the behated as well then it would have to got to waste. All it could provide for him now was the feeling of scalding liquid dropping like sand in his nonexistent stomach.

Cyan stopped in his tracks as he heard a familiar voice call out to him. He whirled around and saw nothing at first until a grocery bag seemed to hover just a few inches above him. He blinked a few times in confusion when all of a sudden he came face to face with the esper from before! Cyan awkwardly stumbled back a few steps, barely managing to keep himself from tripping on his on two feet. He had thought he had lost the stranger back in the commotion of the fire! "I-I...t-thank you" Cyan stuttered, hesitantly reaching out and taking the bag. "H-home!" He suddenly exclaimed, his brain finally managing to catch up with his reactions. 'Home?! What does he mean by-! I can't. No I have to...but he did save me! But but but...'. Cyan opened his mouth but it just seemed to freeze in place as his thoughts continued to contradict themselves over and over again.

As Bella poured herself a cup of coffee she could feel the behated watching her. She drank a whole cup and poured another and then looked at the behated "so, what's your name?" She asked with an attitude like she wasnt afraid. For the first time she really wasn't. Normally the behateds scared her so bad, but tonight she was ready, she wasn't scared of dying. She wanted to end this life . She looked at him waiting for his reply, staring at him. The alcohol had basically all faded off by now and could understand everything a lot better. She realized the behated was the only reason she was still alive and began to wonder why he helped at all.

@Cyan

The pause was confusing at first, Alan didn't expect Cyan to overheat like this. He thought about restarting him with a slap across the face but tossed the idea when he got a better one. Alan slowly wrapped his arms around Cyan's neck. "I saved your life and brought you groceries, the least you could do is let me stay with you for awhile." He smiles, dragging a finger over Cyan's lips. "Or you could give me a kiss." He slowly closes the gap between them his face slowly tilting as he nears. With his lips almost touching Cyan's, he closes his eyes and whispers. "Just kid-ding." Alan swirls around Cyan till he's hanging on his back. "Come on, enough fun." He holds tightly, putting his lips right next to Cyan's ear and whispers. "Take me home." Alan nuzzles Cyan's neck almost as if he were resting on a pillow and closes his eyes.

Lorin placed his glasses neatly over his nose, as he let out a large yawn. He had been working all night on his new book, and now he would have to do what his editor had told him. "Go out and get some air!" as he had almost passed out while they were discussing his new work. Lorin drank his last cup of coffee to wake up, ruffling through his dark hair as he put the black cardigan over his t-shirt, and looked over to his own collection of books, grabbing a pair of the books he had borrowed from the local library as he went on his way towards the street. "I don't get why he could not deliver these himself... I already told him I was busy working..." Lorin thought as he let out another sigh combined with a yawn, as he exited his apartment building and walked out into the street that were packed of people.

"I should get something to eat... I'm actually getting a bit hungry... Maybe I could grab a bag of candy in the local store? Or would my editor allow me to have candy for breakfast? Nah, I'll get it anyway," Lorin thought as he could almost hear the sound of his stomach rumbling as it blended in with the rest of the town, as he made his way down into the library. Quickly delivering what he was there to deliver, he went outside again and began making his way to the local store, as his hunger was increasing by the second.

"Hm, whatever. Thank you." And almost with out hesitation, he flew off. But barely a foot off the ground, he got to thinking. He hadn't collected any belovedness in a while, the higher ups wouldn't be liking that. And here seemed a nice enough girl that he could form a contract with. So, once more floating back down to earth, he says "Hey, you want to make a contract with the beloved that is standing in front of you?" He was never good at using words to make thing sound good.

Ava grinned as she counted the money, all together it was $500 enough to buy herself that sweet laptop she'd always wanted. She floated content before spying a really cute guy walking to the store. She followed behind bored and looking for a good time. Plus he wouldn't notice her, she yawned.

A chill was sent down Lorin's spine, as he looked behind himself, but saw no one that he recognized or bothered to look behind long enough either. Was I just imagining things? Maybe no sleep is starting to affect my brain more than I thought... Maybe I'll take a nap when I get back home. Lorin thought to himself as he shrugged and continued on his way towards the store, hoping to find some sweet candy to bring with to eat, and for the sake of not being scolded later, some actual healthy breakfast. He had already lost count of how many times his editor had yelled at him for not eating healthy enough, but if he didn't starve or feel starved, then that shouldn't be a problem should it? I should go to the Shrine later, I have hit a writer's block after all... Maybe that'll help me get rid of it. It's such a bother having to go all the way over there though... Lorin thought as he walked in the store, greeting the shop owner with a quick wave before looking for candy.

"Lorin, are you really eating candy instead of a proper meal? Isn't it a bit late for you to only start eating now?" The shop owner asked as Lorin looked over to see a familiar face, it was an acquaintance of his brother, he never paid good enough attention to recall this man's name though.

"I'm old enough to take care of myself, and if I want to eat candy. I'll eat candy," Lorin answered him, grabbing a few packages of pocky and some bags of konpeito before he eventually grabbed a water bottle and a salad. "You know... You already look thin, and now you eat candy for breakfast... Lorin, are you sure you are capable of taking care of yourself?" The man asked him a bit concerned about Lorin's health as he made his way over to the checkout. "I'm alive right? That should provide enough evidence that I am capable," Lorin answered, before paying for his food and putting a strawberry flavored pocky in his mouth and walking aimlessly around in the street, wondering where he should go next.

She almost died again when he turned around. Di-Did he see her, no she was probably just a bit paroinde, human couldn't see her, which was quite boring. Her mouth water at the candy, this dude was right up her alley. She frowned at the shop keeper, if a man wanted to eat candy let him be, and he wasn't too thin Ava huffed and followed the man out back to the street. She stared at the pocky and smiled well he didn't see her so having just one wouldn't be bad. She took a pocky stick and begin to eat it still wondering where this guy will go next. "Lorin huh, that's a pretty girly name."

Aria watched as the boy nearly flew away but then returned. I wonder if he forgot something... ...Wait!? I contract with me~!? Aria looked at him with a surprise face. She had never been asked so she had a couple of questions.

"What are the strings if I say yes?"

"No strings. I'm a bit insulted that you think that there would be some. What do I look like? A behated?" he said jokingly. Well, at least she was cautious. "Now, what do you want. I don't kill people however, or get you with your 'true love', get you immense wealth, or make you the ruler of anything." Conner continued, ticking the points off on his fingers.

Lorin was still wandering around aimlessly in the street as he was about to grab another pocky, as he had finished his own before he saw another hand already going for his box, stealthily sneaking a pocky out of the box. He turned to see a girl with pink and blue hair and a pair of emerald eyes, as he examined her with his own deep purple eyes. "You shouldn't steal other's breakfast. People might get mad," Lorin commented as he let her take her pocky, before he grabbed one of his own and took it in his mouth. "I'll let it go this time, since I am too tired to make a scene out it," Lorin added t his previous comment and looked around, before turning to her when he heard her comment on his name. "I was given that name, it's not as if I can do anything about the matter. Thanks for an honest opinion, I had yet to hear my name was girly," Lorin answered to her, completely unfazed by it, as he continued on his way, debating if he should go to the shrine, far up in the north, or not. What a strange person... I also don't like people who take my candy, it's mine after all... now I got one less to eat... Lorin thought, pouting a little bit to himself before continuing his aimless walk.

She blinks before following him. "I can't believe you can see me..that's a first. And you're name is very girly but it suits you." She floated next to him and grinned," you're really hot." Ava still couldn't believe he could see her..wait what if he's a human she should make a contract with. Ava deiced to follow him just to make sure, cause she needed belovedness but she really didn't know if this guy was good or not. "I'm Ava!" If he was good she needed to be on his good side to make a contract..and he seemed like he need friends, poor guy. She takes another pocky and laughs.

Can see her? Is that something so extraordinary? Ah... I guess I have been exceptional at ignoring a lot of people lately... Where did she hear my name anyway? Maybe she was in the store with me... I honestly can't remember... Lorin thought to himself, and turned around to only be met by the same girl, but this time her feet were no longer planted on the ground, but floating freely in the air. Lorin seemed as unfazed by this on the outside, as he only let out a sigh. This must be those... what are they called... those magical people... I recall my brother talking about one once, but... Nah I honestly cannot remember at all... Lorin thought to himself as she continued to follow him. "How long are you going to follow me for anyway?" He asked her, looking up to her as he noticed that no one else was seemingly seeing her, and gave him a couple of strange glances as they passed him.

This must be why the shopkeeper talked to me so freely, he probably didn't know that she was there. How strange... I thought everyone could see these magical flying persons... Oh well. It has nothing to do with me anyway. Lorin shrugged as he heard Ava's comment about his looks and slightly blushed, and turned away from her. His social skills had dropped gravely after he had begun writing books, and now he even received a compliment... what was he suppose to say or do at that point? "Yeah sure. Nice to meet you and all that," Lorin said as he continued to hide his blush from her sight.

"As long as I want to, I'm really bored and you seem like a guy who could use a friend like me." She giggles and twirls in the air besides him. "You still don't seem to care that only you can see me..why..most other humans would be weird-ed out and questioning by now." He was a strange one but he blushed pretty and she liked begin around him already, he seemed to calm her down.

Do I look that lonely? Well my brother has told me several times to go outside and get a life, but this wasn't exactly what he meant was it? It would be interesting to see his reaction if I brought back an "imaginary" friend, but that's too much trouble. Lorin thought as he watched Ava do a quick twirl in the air, still walking a bit aimlessly, as he ate another pocky. "I'm not here for your entertainment. If you need entertainment, then go and watch television or read a book. That can provide far more entertainment than I can," He insisted, as he enjoyed his own company over anyone else's, but some people were just too persistent, and would not understand the hints he was forcefully sending their ways, those pushy people could really get on his nerves.

"I am not most humans, why should I bother to think up a hundred questions when you can probably barely answer five of them. I've never understood why people want to trouble themselves that much," Lorin said with a small sigh as he decided on going to the shrine, maybe she would find that boring and leave him alone. There was just a feeling that was hanging in him that the longer he stayed with her, the more he would be involved in her world. He had already managed to mostly keep to himself, except his brother and a few of his work associates, but otherwise his social circle was small, and he liked it that way. I won't force her to go, I'll just hope she gets tired of me or think I'm boring and leaves. It shouldn't take too much time as I have heard I am quite the boring person.

She pouted. "No way watching you is much more fun!" She laughs and piggy backs on him. He couldn't feel her weight but she was having fun. "That's no way to look at life Lorin, asking questions is really fun even if you don't get all the answers..and why would you want to know all the answers. Knowing everything is fun at all." She clings to him and wonders where else he was going. "You have a pretty blush!" It was much better then any other human she had seen.

What is she a child? Oh well... It's not as if I am going to force her to bother someone else... She might as well just tag along as she has no one else to bother, not as she knows of anyway. Lorin thought to himself as she had already taking a somewhat liking to him, clinging on his back and flying around him without a care in the world. "It's just too much work for me, I would rather not have to think up all those questions. I'm guessing that if there's something you want me to know, you'll tell me about it before I ask. Otherwise it's not important enough, but you are a bit right. Knowing everything has to be quite boring," Lorin admitted, as he continued to walk towards the shrine, as Ava yet again threw a compliment his way.

His cheeks lit up in an even brighter pink color as this time she was commenting on his blush, which he had hoped he managed to hide from earlier. He threw his hand in his pockets and lowered his head, staring down at his black sneakers, as he began walking even faster, hopefully hiding it better this time, as he made his way all over to the Shrine, only staring as his feet in the process.

They arrived at the shrine and as Lorin had suspected, there was no one there. It was a quiet and peaceful place where the Sakura trees were allowed to bloom freely, and it was a perfect place to get some peace and quiet. Hopefully this would help him get over his writer's block as he had been stuck the past couple of days, but he was more interested in finding a way to get the flying Ava to leave him alone, as he couldn't possibly nap while she was still there. "S- Stop complimenting me... It's not as if it's that amazing..." He stuttered shyly, still not entirely sure how to react to the compliments she kept throwing his way.

She thinks about what he says and smiles, he was pretty right but she wasn't ever going to admit that. Ava like how he blushes and wonders if she can make him blush more. "I guess I can tell you but I don't see how you would know I'd tell." She pokes her tongue out at him and get off his back as they get to the shrine. "Wow it's beautiful here." She spins around as cherry blossom fall on her face. "You're pretty amazing Lorin..I mean what other human can see me then you, and you give off a nice warmth." This time she blushes small but noticeable.
