Zachary is the corporal since he's been in the military for a bit. And Magdalena is a private straight from basic training, private being the lowest rank in the army.

Haha, the Lt is going to have to earn her spot in the platoon regardless; she isn't special in Rico's eyes unless she proves herself capable, which she slightly has. @SimplyCarnage


It's alright @PlaguedWithInsanity , can't expect people to just remember the rank structure by heart starting off haha, it takes a really long time to get most of the lingo down as well.

As of right now, she was doing push-ups and getting a lot of dirt thrown at her from multiple NCO's, along with the rest of the privates. Rico just ordered them to all get up and run after Pvt Maclin; who is carrying the simulatedly wounded Pvt Ecciles. Your Corporal was either throwing dirt at the Joe's and telling them to do push-ups, or not. Completely your choice on that. Rico doesn't take kindly to 'Joe huggers' however, and he would probably lose some respect for him.


 

Well, you could start out with them on a second bus with others that haven't made there first posts yet so y'all can get your set-up. If they were both on the bus, then they were most defiantly in on that push-up party and light dusting. Of course, up to you of course, and how our SFC and LT will handle it. (^.^)

I thought about making a second bus, but that would kind of ruin the shock value at this point; and there's just simply not enough NCO's to be at 100 places at once haha. I'm just going to Bunny the characters until they feel like posting; shouldn't be all that confusing if re-caps are given when needed.

NCO stands for Non commissioned officer; and those ranks range from corporal - Sergeant Major of the Army.


Joe means a soldier that doesn't hold a leadership rank. ranging from private - Specialist.

A good page to familiarize yourself with the rank structure of the U.S.Army if you feel so inclined. Army vernacular can be a bit confusing, but it does make a lot of sense once you get used to it.

That's true to an extent, but it really depends on how you pull that off. Reading his Bio would state he's more of a Joe hugger, but that's completely fine. He could stand there and monitor the Joe's to make sure nobody actually gets hurt during the exorcise however, that actually makes sense.

This also makes me think, I can't wait to meet this mystery Chief Warrant Officer, I am assuming he'll be a CW5, but I may be incorrect in assuming. Still will be interesting to see a technical specialist take command of a front line special assignment platoon.

Unfortunately, nobody will ever meet him directly; and he'll never go out on patrol. He will always be FOB (forward operating post) hopping, collecting missions to telegram the Pl and Platoon sergeant. The unit needs an outside influence for them to be legit haha.

I'm sorry, that must be incredibly hard on him. You missed quite a bit of action from the privates leaving the bus, but they are all in the tent now; minus the NCO's who are standing outside, having to listen to a bleeding heart Lt.
