Vampire x Human c:

"I enjoy you, too. It is strange, I have not felt this..." He bit his lip as he tried to think about how to describe it, "I do not know what it is I am feeling, but I feel... Good. I have not felt like this in a very long time. You have quite an effect on me, I must admit." He smiles, his teeth showing, a happy smile and his eyes crinkled at the corners, a genuine smile. Silas let his grin fade naturally as he looked at his fingers, then back up at Elias. "If anything I would say that I..." He trailed off. What? What was he going to say? That he wished he were more like him? That he wished that he had met him sooner? Or what? That he loved him? "I would say that I find your company to be a wonderful thing, and pardon me to say this, I think you are... Marvellous." He grins again, now not afraid to show his teeth more often. Elias would not be afraid of the two sharper teeth now, would he?

Elias' eyes widened, and a small blush appeared on his cheeks. A light pink to match the pallor of his face(though Silas was paler than he was). Elias then, at those words, smiled softly and peered down at his hands. The hotness in his cheeks did not fade, nor did they make him feel comfortable. He didn't even want to work anymore.. He just wanted to talk to Silas and be with Silas. Silas' company gave him such a firm grasp on the reality of the world. People suffer. Both of them might have been suffering on the inside. Elias was. And yet, he knew they were pulling each other out of their misery. "M-Marvelous?" He was cut from his thoughts, and Elias grinned, not bothered at all by Silas' fangs. "How kind of you to say, Silas.. Thank you. Though I can't see I believe you. I think you are the marvelous one. You're very fascinating.." He whispered softly. A healthy youthful blush appeared on his cheeks, and he grinned cutely, sweetly.

"Quite the contrary, I believe that you yourself are fascinating, and I am not, but this could go back and forth very easily, could it not? I suppose the best thing to do for now would be to agree to disagree?" He chuckled, sipping at his wine once again, emptying his glass finally. He looked at Elias, had he finished eating? Perhaps now he could... Could what? What would Elias be interested in that he had to offer. He supposed he could show him the artwork in the small gallery that he had, but he didn't truly know if he enjoyed to look at the works of others. Perhaps he could take him to see a show in the theatre? It was not far from his house. Oh but no, he couldn't. The storm outside was kicking up a fuss and it would be much too unbearably cold to even leave the home. So then maybe, he could simply show him around the home? He did not know which Elias would most enjoy. He looks at him and raises his eyebrows, a small smile still playing at his lips as he opens his mouth to ask. "If you are finished eating, I wonder, could there be any way I could entertain you. I could show you the house and tell you things about the rooms if that is what you wanted, I have some spectacular rooms. But yet if you would like to simply be alone, or just sit and talk in the study, or any room of your choice it does not matter to me, then we could do that." He smiles again, his eye showing kindness. Elias truly did bring out the best in him.

It very well could go back and forth. Elias had a hard time finding himself fascinating or contain any type of beauty at all. He knew he was a good man. He knew that he had tried to do good for the world, but other than that part, no. He was not beautiful. He was not peculiar. He felt he was normal. But Silas, Silas was so pretty and unique.. Elias was caught in a daze while staring at him, though quickly dismissed his thoughts and grinned. "U-Um.. I'd love for you to show me around the house and tell me things about the rooms. E-Especially if I'm going to be living here from now on. I-I don't want to get lost." He stuttered, before scratching the side of his head. "By the way, are there any downstairs rooms that could be my work room? If not, th-that's fine, I just don't want any sickness carried upstairs." He murmured timidly, his eyes migrating back down to his twitching fingers. That kindness in Silas' eyes.. It was so pretty. Prettier than any poem he had ever read. It was beautiful. Elias felt hotness still gathering at his cheeks, and he cleared his throat nervously. "I-I'm sorry if I asked too much, Silas." It was very taxing, being a doctor.

"You are not asking too much, do not be so silly, I have plenty of spare rooms, honestly." He laughs and stands from the table, again gesturing for Elias to follow him. He walks from the dining room happily. "I have a room for you downstairs, so do not worry about that." He walks with Elias and points out a room with a closed door, walking to it and opening it. It was empty, clean, but empty. "It is not much, but it will be enough space for what you need, will it not?" He laughs a little and looks around the room, then back at Elias. He walks out of the room and leaves him to stay in there if he wants to, leaning against the wall beside the doorway. He wanted to make sure that Elias had everything he wanted, everything he needed to stay here happily.

It might have been small or "not much", but it was bigger than his older one. His eyes widened in pleasure, and walked round the walls, measuring the spaces with his eyes. He smiled sweetly, imagining all of his things lodged into the room. After observing it, he walked to Silas, smiling happily. "Wow, that room is perfect. It's close to the front door as well. Thank you.. Thank you." He dipped his head, the utmost sign of respect and admiration, and peered up at his blue, vibrant eyes. His eyes were so full of color.. Elias often felt that he had no color in his eyes-- it was all sucked away. He was surprised his eyes were not red from all the blood he saw on a daily basis. He watched Silas and peered down at his shoes. "Thank you for-- for everything you have done. This room is so much better than my old one. It is more than enough."

Silas smiles, standing up straight now and no longer leaning against the wall. "I am glad you like the room. As soon as the storm clears I expect you will want your things to be moved here? Any assistance I can provide will be no trouble at all." He grins at him happily before jerking his head for him to follow, and leading him into the room across the hall. He pushes open the doors and reveals the gallery. Two small sofas were in the middle of it, and all over the walls were paintings and pictures of people and landscapes that had had collected over the years. "I find that paintings are really quite... Splendid, I suppose. There is something wonderful about them, about having an image stopped in time forever on a canvas. But even more so, the fact that someone could paint something so beautiful." He walks over to a specific painting of a lady and he looks up at it, running his fingers along the dried paint. He was not one of those look but don't touch kinds of people, that was for sure.
