Unuxia, Institute of Magic (UIM) and Niderra, Academy of the Arcane (NAA). The two leading schools for any with magical abilities within the state. They have a long history of rivalry and each year between the first and second semester one school hosts a festival where a series of competitions will be held to determine who is the best of the best.

I think everything looks great! It allows a lot of development for in the story as well!

Ok I'll throw that in. Honestly, I left it out so that we wouldn't have to deal with trying to figure out how old a freshman was lol

Should it be a high school or college?

 

[Viper]

I was thinking more high school like. I doubt powers would take 18-20 years to show up, I feel like puberty and powers would come hand in hand. However, how about you stay a student (a super senior) until the school feels that you have a strong enough handle over your powers?

 

[Teenie]

Love it! Good idea! So then the age range? 15/16 - whenever?

 

[Viper]

Something like that. I am going to have my guy be a 17 year old senior/junior then.

So do you have an idea about what power you are going to have?

Lucky! I can't think of one right now that i would want.


There is a power I like but any RP I use it in dies right away (I think it's cursed) and it doesn't match my character at all. Human voodoo doll. I also like blood control, but it doesn't match a pompous prodigy at all

IKR! But it never works out well so I have given up on using that power at least for my main character. I may give that ability to some side character though.... who knows!

It would be really cool, I think!

Question. I know we said that it was passed down through the bloodline, but is it the same power or just magical capabilities? Like if your mom controls fire, will you control fire as well or could you get something like walking through walls?

 

[Teenie]

I was thinking around the same thing, it would be more relative!

 

[Viper]

Which part are you agreeing with? Is it the same power or no?


I finished my dude and went with the same power thing... kind of. It is basically the two parents combined but i figured that it was close enough to being the same power to be okay. His siblings just took directly after one of the parents.


Question, should we have roommates?

So sorry about that! I was off for a while... I have been lacking inspiration and motivation.


I thought the idea of having them have the same sort of power of their parents would be cool, for sure.


Roommates would also be fun.

I am interested still!


I just have a ton going on right now with exams and what not, so I am very drained.
