The female carefully entered the pack and set the food down in the empty food pile, little puppies running up to eat first along woth the elders them the others had eaten the scraps left by the elders.

Once Lucas got home he laid down a bit annoyed with the black and blue wolf for some reason, unsure why. But in reality he was annoyed with himself but too it out on ruby.

Ruby flicked her tail as her father greeted her by her den and bowed lightly with a small giggle upon her lips. Her eyes batted softly a she curled her tail and listened to her father's words As he began to explain her new duties.

Lucas calmed after a while and soon began to drift to sleep slowly.

The female nodded once her father finished and slipped into her cave so she could get some sleep.

By the following morning, Lucas woke him self up and stretched giving off a soft yaw as he arched his back to pop is a bit.

The young female had arose at dawn and was following the border with a flick of her tail. She was on patrol gor the day and liked the idea of being away for a while.

He didn't know why, but decided to head back to the border, but stayed away from the river that sepparated the two lands.

The female flicked her tail a little and headed up the side of the mountain that cut between the borders so each had their own little territory

Lucas soon found a nice spot, and settled near the tree line, looking out for that female again.

The girls blackfur was easy to identify ad she passed through the forest and perked her ears when she smelled the male from the other day.

Lucas set his head down, soon closing his eyes as he began to drift off to sleep once more.
