It felt sort of incredible when all four dogs were tugging on that cloth. Like true teamwork which, to a collie who had never really never been exposed to other canines, was such a foreign concept. It would be a lie if she said it wasn't enjoyable, in a way.
Once the labrador popped free from her concrete prison it seemed like they all got a weight lifted off their shoulders. Turtle yipped and bounced around in circles excitedly. "We did it! Wow!" There was such a prideful glow in the pup's eyes. She pranced a bit, bashing her paws against the remaining rubble with a squeaky howl. "Take that!" She grinned, her stub of a tail wagging furiously.
"Hazel you're so smart." Turtle pranced over to her companion.
"Brains don't mean much if you don't have the means." The collie tipped her head and softly batted the pup with a paw. She seemed to have retreated back into her reserved ways, though her tail was wagging as well.
"You're welcome." She smiled at Kirah and her ears perked up. "And... thank you, too." She turned her head to the wolfdog, smile sinking into something sheepish and honest. "I don't think this would have worked without you." She lied down and licked at her paws. She could only imagine they were all a bit bruised up from the hard ground.
