"Here, have a mass of tentacles from a dimension incomprehensible to the feline mind." Pandemon conjured a plate of tentacles for the good doctor to eat

He put his hands up as he eyed Pandemon weirdly

Yamato bowed in respect as his new master entered the chamber. Konahrik was a foul and disgusting fiend that in another life would have no doubt been slain by his hand. Yet try as he might, the cop turned criminal could no sooner break his bond with the old man any more than he could fly. Yamato gritted his teeth in frustration, even as he reset his visage to neutral when he stood tall and at attention. Konahrik had his very soul. For now.

But one day, he will break free.

The Dragonborn stepped forward. "There is an important task I need you to partake. There in lies an old Knight, the sole man responsible for...well, you know. He is out there, looking for me. He believes that he has some "mission" to destroy me. I will admit, I do not know where he is currently heading, but I believe he is here in the wasteland. Him, and an old acquaintance. Goret."

Yamato took this information in, putting his helmet on to conceal his features. He nodded in respect as he opened a portal to where the knight was located. As Konahrik commanded, he would obey.

Meanwhile in the wasteland sticking out like a sore thumb was a castle that was based on the one from the dark crystal, here's what it looked like

"Ohohohohohohohoho!" A little green alien cackled maniacally from the throne room. "I Should've begun plotting to use the so called dark multiverse in my schemes the moment the so called evil Kevin fell." He said with a psychotic smirk on his face "no matter, those insignificant little bugs ends are at hand! They and their entire planet will be reduced to nothing but DUUUUUUSSSSST!" Zork declared with maniacal laughter following him

"Beep?" A robotic drone asked

"yes i'm really gonna do it this time! Countless schemes thwarted by a brat with mommy issues!"

"Beep"

"What do you mean i'm crazy If I think this is gonna work? It has to!"

"You know, you're really trying my patience right now. is everything set up just how I ordered it?"

"Finally! Something good happens in this conversation! Now communicate this information to my allies!" Zork commanded the robotic drone who obeyed and floated to konahrik and yamato​

"I warn you, Yamato." Konahrik said. "There are....beasts...creatures that are not within my control. Nightmares from other realities, many of them that will kill on sight. The search for the Knight will be treacherous..." The portal forms right next to them. "...but that is what you were made for."

Yamato nods and walks through, fully prepared to deal with said nightmarish creatures. They probably had nothing against the Chimera and if they were anything less that magical he would rip them apart. Summoning his Beast Legion, who was dressed in foreboding dark armor much like his master, Yamato jumped on and tore down the road, starting his search for the elusive knight.

As he began his search, memories of his past life began to appear, giving him powerful headaches. Yamato grunted in pain, forcing the throbbing down so he could just barely scrape up enough attention to move forwards. Was what the dragon priest said true? What cosmic horror awaited him here? As his head cleared Yamato tossed some pills into his mouth to keep himself from passing out.

"beep" the little probe droid said as it called the rest of the villains to inform them of zorks progress with his fortress of doom

Zork was sitting inside a hover chair as he watched his mechanical minions finish up "soon frank, soon." The alien mad scientist giggled "so do I A: kidnap his little henchman Kevin? B:send robots after him when he arrives? Or C:take an administrator hostage?" Zork summoned over to him a device he built that could trap you inside a dungeons and dragons campaign, specifically the tomb of horrors

Madame misery meanwhile entered the room konahrik was in after Yamato left "so it finally begins." The wicked witch said with a smug smile appearing on her face, although no one could see it under the mask

Lara sat in her home office, sifting through her mail. Her feet were propped up on the desk while she leaned back in her chair. Sprinkled amongst the letters were job offers—Egypt (again...), Guatemala, China—all things she would consider, though not immediately. A long huff was cut off by an oddity amidst the chaff: a scroll, written on parchment. Now the Tomb Raider’s interest was piqued.

Unfurling the scroll, Lara could quickly tell something was unusual. The handwriting was careful and practiced, as though someone was learning to write with Latin script. She was quick to notice the spelling errors and promises to pay her 50,000... gold? “Well, this is clearly a prank,” she chuckled, betting the sender’s full ‘name’ was Joe Mama.

One more thing caught her eye before she could discard the letter: a scratched-out word. She flipped the parchment and stared at the back through the intense light of a lamp. “... One of the largest desserts in... your... world,” Lara muttered. “Now you have my business, ‘Joe’.”

The Jeep’s engine roared as Lara gunned it through the desert, kicking up clouds of dust behind her. She kept watch for structures, but didn’t slow down. There was much ground to cover.

As it turns out, dragon worship was most common in Asia. She'd likely have to look for the remains of a Chinese or Indian complex, but the desert sands may complicate that...

Suddenly, the Jeep was engulfed in a flash of light. Lara shielded her eyes, then peeked between her fingers to see she was in an entirely different spot. "Lovely..." she sighed in dismay, glancing around to find any familiar landmarks again. She couldn't begin to tell where she was now, as there even seemed to be other biomes in the distance.

HUNK observed the interrogation silently. It seemed this knight was a man of few words, as well. That fact pleased the usually quiet operative, who often found himself amongst blabbermouths and comedians. "Idiot," he snarled at the dead animatronic before maintaining his pace at the knight's side. The whole time, he kept his SPAS-12 at the ready.

Storm carefully considered the four sectors on the screen. The wide-open lake area, the colder environment... This was perfect to weave a mighty snowstorm. "I shall head for the Alaskan lake," she declared.

Aeon squinted at the icon of the tomb. "Tombs tend to be littered with old traps to kill invaders. You'll want my help on that one," she asserted before lowering her tone to a more breathy, sultry one. "Finish your drone scans. I'll be waiting."

Lucia was concerned by the reports of entities at a public shopping mall. "I cannot let something run rampant where other humans are, and a lot of them, at that," she reasoned. "I will exterminate whatever is causing trouble there."

Finally, Leo pointed with his thumb towards the dense forest. "This forest... There would be poor sight radius and much close-quarter fighting. I believe I could excel here. Allow me to investigate this area." He paused for a moment, glancing at Kain's replacement. "I worked closely with Kain, good sir. Will you join me at some point? I have some information that may be of use in the future, likely after this crisis."

"we're going to the forest too!" Said frank.

"Oh boy! We can go camping! We can sing campfire songs! Tell ghost stories! Make s'mores! Eat marshmallows! We can look at the stars." Said Kevin.

"Doubt it." Said frank

"Aww you're no fun." Said Kevin "imma go prepare camping supplies anyway. Can somebody help me?" The boy asked

Stephen observed the map intently and was deep in his mind, thinking of the possibilities of how his fight might turn out and which might give the most challenge to the others. He wanted a place and an opponent where he could help, one where they used wits rather than raw power, so his instincts told him to go to the forest.

Then he heard Leo's question and nodded, "Yes, I will be going to the dense forest as well and I'm looking forward to that as well, our powersets aren't much different but I possess much more mastery and skill over my abilities than Kain, and not to mention extensive medical knowledge. So I'm a medic and mage in one, hah. And call me Stephen, some people call me Doc or Doctor, i won't mind"

He then turns his attention to Cugai, "I will be going to the dense forest"

After saying hello, he stopped bowing.

"Woah so you're like kain but cooler?" Frank asked rhetorically

"I'd see if Fireteam Mavrick and Talim's going to join us this time, but they'll come around. Well, then it seems I know who we can assign to watch over your missions." Cugai said. "Vector, you'll watch over the Willamette Mall."

"Gotcha." Vector said.

"Marina, you'll watch over the Alaskan Lake." Cugai said.

"O-Oh! Um...I mean, ok." Marina said.

"Ah'll take care of the forest dwellers, boss." Pepperjack said, walking over to CiMos.

"Hold up, Pepperjack." Fugai said. "You're arm..."

"Ah told ya, it'll grow back." Pepperjack said.

Cugai and Fugai slowly back away from Pepperjack. The two then walk over to their spot while the other administrators take their spots, three portals opening. Cugai and Fugai open a portal, letting lose one of their drones.

"Remember agents." Cugai said. "If you do not find our guy, rendezvous to a middle point of the assumed trail to find the Knight. Good luck!"

Goonfire​

The desert winds blew as the two walked across the sandy terrain. The Knight held the rabbits head in his hand like a lantern, the lights in it's eyes flickering as it sways back and forth. The Knight said nothing to his new ally, but figured that words didn't matter. All that mattered was finding Konahrik and finishing this nightmare. The journey that the two of them had stopped at their first destination: A tomb. At least, what looked like one. It looked mostly like an underground passage, covered in sand. Strangely, it looked like it was right next to a large body of water that didn't look like it belonged. The flashing seemed to keep alight when pointed near the area, so the Knight proceeded.

Konahrik walked between the two, looking up to Smaug. "You can do as you please. I am off to find the company of others." Without another word, he opens a portal and closes it behind himself, leaving the band behind.

Konahrik reappeared in a different area, this time he makes his presents in front two dragons.

Madame misery retreats to her fortress of doom to prepare for intruders and to obtain konahriks crystal

Kevin returns with camping supplies and walks through the dense forest portal with frank who accompanies him

Smaug first looked at the portal Yamato entered, but he wasn’t sure he would fit. He eventally goes to Madame Misery’s fortress of doom to spend some time.

The Knight was too familiar with something like this, a dead land with no hope in sight. Each portion of the desert and it's amalgamed biomes told of the horrors that lived within, or perhaps, held the tales of hellish nightmares that were too conjoined to tell apart.

The only option they had was to keep going. The mission had to be fulfilled, even if one of Konahrik's was out there....​

Madame misery declared In her throne room in the fortress of doom, which was located somewhere between the dense forest and unknown tomb unlike zorks castle, which was located somewhere between the Alaskan forest and dense forest, anyone going to her fortress would also notice that it seemed like eternal night had fallen on the place.

Smaug is currently on the roof of Madame Misery’s fortress of doom, watching the scenery from afar.
”Now if you don’t mind… I shall search for what I desire.. Gold…”
Smaug said in his usual deep and resonant tone. Then, Smaug spreads his wings, and with a powerful flap, takes flight, heading towards the sandy desert.
”Now, I shall begin my search for treasure in this land, and those who dare face me will die.. for I am fire, I am death…”
