Leo smiles, though he feels dazed and weak from the process, he holds back tears "oh, you're awake. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. An allergic reaction in one of the vaccines we used for your routine medical check may have caused very short term memory loss. Now, I'll escort you back to your dorm if you don't mind" he offers her his hand.

Mati takes Leo's hands and follows him "well you are very kind, may I ask what your name is so I can thank you."

"Leondhart, oh and how do you feel about teleportation?"

 

[Harbinger]

"Leondhart huh, I partially remember that name and he looks somewhat like you. Do you know him in any way and I'm fine with teleportation."

"Nope never met anyone else with my name" Leo cringes at his and Mati's words "Well, try not to throw up" Leo grabs Mati and instantly warps; standing in Mati's room, Leo quickly moves to the windowsill "sorry about this, my teleportation isn't too accurate, I intended to drop you off outside your room" he hops out the window and hits the ground softly.

Mati walks over to the window " will I see you again Leondhart, I feel like I know you somehow but I can' t my finger on it." Mati tries to search through her memories but is drawing up blanks.

"I only just met you for the first time during that medical check. Oh, and I'm both a student and a teacher here; I'm sure I'll seeya 'round!" Leo calls out as he walks away.

 

[Harbinger]

"Well by then." Mati walked around her room and saw all the dresses she had bought for some reason but she doesn't know why. She took out her phone and found texts sent from her to Leo with things like " I love you Leo" and she finds a photo of her in lingerie sent to Leo. She went to bed and tried to put things together in her mind while she was sleeping.

Leo sat in the schools main hall, his back resting on one of the large stone pillars. He quietly sobs to himself as his body ignites and he falls asleep, wrapping himself in his bat like wings.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati waked up the next morning feeling refreshed. She spent all night thinking about those messages and the picture, she figured out that she was in some sort of relationship with him and she had to find him. She walked the halls and found him sleeping in the hall. " excuse me Leondhart I found some texts on my phone and a picture of me in some lingerie and they were all sent to you. I think we must be in a relationship of sort. Could you explain that to me please?"

 

[OnyxReaper]

"I have no idea what you're talking about" he's already hidden or removed any trace of Mati that he could. "Maybe it's that other Leo you're talking about" he secretly sets his phone to silent, then turns it off.

 

[Harbinger]

"Well It doesn't make any sense because I found this in the dresser of my bed" she pulls out a small photo of her and Leo together "the man in there looks exactly like you and we are awfully close to each other, to close to be more than just friends."

 

[OnyxReaper]

Leo laughs awkwardly "weird huh, I think that was a picture after your first sparring class, it was against me, meaning that guy's definitely me." He says this as he smirks.

 

[Harbinger]

" No, because the first student I sparred with was against another fallen angel. Whatever I'll see you later. Mati walked away and tried to put the pieces together until she found one major clue, the smoke that Leo had emitted. She rethought of the memory where a man was emitting smoke while coming to rescue her. She put all the piece together and turned around towards Leo and ran towards him " Leo, I remember you." She ran back yo him and made out with him and all the memories came back to her. Why were you acting like you didn't know me for the past day?

Leo pushes her against the wall, a single tear in his eye "no, no you do not, you cannot; you cannot remember me, please, don't remember me" he moves his finger back up to her forehead, ready to wipe himself away again.

 

[Harbinger]

" No I do you remember everything, I remember the dance we had under the stars, our first date at the movie theater, you rescuing me from that angel bastard. Even the ring I bought you." Mati digged into Leo's pocket and pulled out the ring with her name on it. She grabbed Leo's head and pulled him in to kiss him. " I love you Leo. Don't you dare try to erase my memory again.

Leo mutters under his breath as he presses his fingers against her forehead "I'm sorry" he wipes her memories again, this time he makes sure to eradicate everything about him. The energy feedback should hopefully knock her out as well.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati finishes kissing Leo but then she blacked out. She wakes up in a confused haze " ow, why the hell does my head hurt and where the hell am I?"

"You're in the main hall of school, now if you'll excuse me" he quickly swipes her phone and deletes everything about him. He gives it back to her and dashes off. He steals the picture of them together from her room as well.

 

[Harbinger]

"Ugh okay, that was odd." Mati walked to her first class and continued with her day. Then a teacher came to her " by order of the headmaster, you are suspended from the school for a month due to skipping classes and being involved with the killing of our hydra. Mati walked back to her room and had packed her things and went to a motel to stay for the next month. "Since I'm suspended, I should go back to work." Mati called her old boss and that night she was back to dancing in the club.

Leo burns the picture in his hands, the last remnant he has of Mati, except for the two precious pistols he has hung by his side. Muttering under his breath as he leaves his room "I love you Mati..." He decides to try and forget about today; heading to the first place he ever met the girl he would've thought of marrying. He orders a scotch and takes a seat at one of the tables; he drinks excessively for a while.

Mati is halfway through her shift when her boss tells her that someone ordered a private dance from her. She takes the man that reeks of whiskey to the VIP room for a private dance. "Hey sweetie, my name is Angel and I'll be your dancer tonight. It is 40 dollars for 5 minutes. She begins the dance and gets lost in the moves.

Leo sits there, downing excessive amounts of scotch, Cerberus notifies Leo that Mati is here, and recently went into a private room with some guy. He tells Cerberus to keep listening in. Leo quickly stumbled off to the toilet and hurls.
