"I know, but I can't seem to forget it. I have nightmares about that and the incident I did 300 years ago. I keep seeing those people on the ground and the blood pooled at my feet and on my hands. Plus when I dated you I had a new hpein life and I decided to not leave the school."

He shows a significantly more solemn expression; then remains utterly silent. Concern and worry dance across his face as he looks at Mati.

 

[Harbinger]

"I'm just going to drop it, it's in the past and I can't change that." Mati wen tdown stairs and grabbed a quick drink of liquor and laid back down with Leo. "Sorry I told you that, you shouldn't have to worry about it." Mati just closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep.

 

[OnyxReaper]

Leo nods "sure" he unexpectedly pulls her close, quickly falling asleep with her in his arms. His wings expand and curl over Mati, like something akin to a shield.

Mati slept but then she started to have the nightmare again. She had the whole scene re-running in her head. She heard the screams of the men when she ripped out their wings and the blood pooling around her. She started to talk in her sleep and her heartbeat increased. She then jolted awake a few minutes later but fell asleep again.

Meanwhile, Kahn lays down on the couch, trying not to barf.

Leo's wings formed a casing around Mati, his tail arching overheard; though he himself was undisturbed by the occurrences; he acts purely from his subconscious and instinct; throughout his slumber he remains like this.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati wakes up and still sees Leo's wings around her, she moves some of them and gets up. She puts some clothes on and writes a note " Went outside to clear my head."Mati went outside and stared out to the bright red sky for who knows how long. " I have to find a way clear my mind of this before I go insane" She thought to herself.

Leo barely stirs in his sleep, but wakes up when he subconsciously reaches for Mati and grabs thin air "Fuuu" Leo sits up; easily scanning the room in the dark. He quickly gets out of bed "Cerberus, Danté; can you see if Mati's okay"

 

[Harbinger]

Mati had grabbed one of Leo's custom guns and stood in the yard. She pressed the trigger once and a loud bang rang through the house as she took a shot at a small practice target on a small post.

Hearing the gunshots resonating through the shrill night air, along with Cerberus' calls. Leo walks off to where Mati is.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati thought taking a shot at the target would help her clear her mind but it didn't do a thing. She points the gun at leg and takes a shot through it and can hear the cracking sound of her bone. " Finally, I feel much better. I got those thoughts out of my head for now." Mati collapses to the grass and sees the blood pool around her and for some reason she feels like everything is all normal.

Leo watches that entire scene, his eyes glaze over a little and he speaks with a monotone voice "Dafuq, why?, pointless" he picks up Mati as he calls a few combat medics that died in Afghanistan to come fix up the wound, along with a psychiatrist among other things.

Mati looked up at Leo and was starting to not act her normal self " why di you stop me, The voices were starting to go away."

 

[OnyxReaper]

"Take a guess" he isn't even looking at her as the many doctors, medics and mental professionals arrive.

 

[Harbinger]

"I can't take it any more, I can't stop seeing the images in my head. The only way I feel sane is when I kill somebody or see blood. I just wanted to end those noises and finally be in peace."

Leo grabs a knife and rams it into his shoulder as the medics begin to patch her up "happy now!?!"

 

[Harbinger]

" No Leo, It's different, I can't explain it. I'll try to make it easier to understand, every day I feel like putting a gun up to my head and pulling the trigger or when I got stabbed with that knife, I was going to let it kill me but I passed out from the pain. I've tried everything to get rid of the noises but nothing worked. I've reached my end!

Leo grimaces, tears streaming down his cheeks "I can have them wiped, I can wipe those two memories that plague you"

 

[Harbinger]

" I would be grateful if you could do that. I would finally be able to sleep at night and have some peace and quiet. I'm sorry for the trouble I put you through."

 

[OnyxReaper]

"Okay let's start then" Leo gently presses his index finger onto Mati's forehead "do you, Matsuadai Ashikagi; fallen angel. Accept Leondhart Grale, Daemon, rights to your memory?"

 

[Harbinger]

"I do accept"

 

[OnyxReaper]

Leo, now with tears streaming down his face, his voice seems dry. He begins to speak rapidly "probably should've mentioned, I wouldn't be crying if it was that simple. Since I'm heavily linked to the kidnapping event... I have to wipe each and every memory if me from your mind... Not giving you a chance to argue. BOOM!" A massive surge of energy blasts through Mati's mind, first the memory of her killing the angels flashes before her eyes, then it fades. The same for the kidnapping, the Daemon who blasted through the door that time no longer has a face, no distinguishable features except for the purple flames that dance around him. Then it starts, each and every memory of Leo flashes, then fades.

Mati has a confused look on her face when she sees Leo. She sits up in a flash " who are you and why am I here, I'm supposed to be back at my dorm. I have class tomorrow."
