[Harbinger]

Mati woke up an hour later in the medical wing with a brace around her leg. She could see the doctor and what looked like sev and Aria standing off in the distance. The doctor approached her "We have prepared the surgery room for you in about two hours. The surgery will take between 5 or 5 hours and we will have the bone back in place. We still have no idea what caused your bone to break off and puncture your lung, thank god you're angel. If you were a human you would only have between 20 and 30 minutes. After the surgery is done, you will be kept under watch for a few days and then you are free but you will be wearing a bandage around you chest for about 2 days to make sure everything is stays in place to heal. Have a good day.


Mati was relieved when she heard this." Thank you guys for coming to see me. If you see leo later can you tell him to come and see me. That would be awsome if you could."

Aria would relieved to hear Mati would be okay after the surgery. "I still need to find Leo, if I do, I'll tell him. But I want to stay here until it's time for your surgery."

One of the nurses starts asking that I leave since I am a boy, "Well I guess I have to leave, hope that the Surgery will be a success!" He says those last words as he's rushed out the door. Now what? He goes up to his dorm and lies on the bed.

"Thanks for staying Aria, I want to talk about why you were really gone for the past two weeks. No one just disappears for two weeks without telling anyone. You should tell me the real reason, don't let the other angels control you. It is good to talk about it, you can trust me." Mati motioned Aria to sit down.

Aria sat biting her lip, thinking about how to answer, "Well... Mati... The angels wanted a meeting. To talk about... My behavior, I guess. I was almost able to go home that day, but let's just say a little Hyperion came, and twisted the story of what happened here, and somehow got me more in trouble. But I handled him... He's in Retraining now..." Knowing what a horrible thing Retraining was, she did feel kind of bad, but Aria knew Hyperion deserved it. "So I finally got to come back once all that got figured out."

 

[Harbinger]

"That's good to hear Aria. Now we can have at least normal life at this school for the time being. I know this may sound a little personal but have you seen anyone that looks kinda of interested in you, like around the school or something. I'm sorry if I'm getting to personal but I've seen some of the guys looking at you when we came home from that shopping trip." Mati's face turned a little red when she said that.

Aria smiled, feeling the mood lightened, "Well, I actually don't know...! I haven't seen anyone, but, I can sometimes be a little oblivious of that, so I don't know! But if you insist then... Well, do you really think so?" She grinned, "And speaking of relationships, how are you and Leo doing?"

 

[Harbinger]

"Me and Leo are doing just great. It's been going good for the past month. We went out for our first date last night and it was amazing. I wore that dress and necklace we got when we were shopping." Mati felt happier that she was getting to know Aria better. "Don't worry Aria, you'll find the right person to be with you. you got a good personality and you espically got the looks with those clothes and jewlery you wear.

Aria smiled and cheered, "Yay! I'm happy for you guys! And you looked amazing in that dress, I bet he was melting for you!" She laughed softly, "And thank you. That's really nice of you to say! I hope you're right!" She smiled softly thinking.

"No problem, on that thought, I wonder where Leo is. He is probably on that contract still, It doesn't matter now. It was nice we got to talk like this, we haven't had a real "gossip" time since you left. It's good that you stayed friends with us after we didn't tell you about me and leo. Heck, you even made two new friends in a span of 10 minutes of you coming back.

Severo jerked himself up. He suddenly realized he had no change of clothes."Damn it." he sighs. Where am I supposed to go shopping? He saw in his bag he still had the 75 dollars from the bonus he earned that day from work. Will this money even work hear? He decided to go ask Mati and Aria. He ran down the flight of stairs and knocked on the door that leads to the lobby of the Schools hospital.

 

[Harbinger]

The nurse walked over to the door and saw sev breathing hard from his running. She buzzed him and let him go without asking a single question.

"Hey guys," Sev slows down his breathing to normal. "I have a few questions to ask if you don't mind?"

Aria smiled happily and nodded in agreement from Mati's words, then when Sev came in she smiled kindly at him, "What's up?"

Mati was a little alerted when Sev came running in. "Sure sev, go right ahead. I'm not going to ask how you got in here when it is bath time for the other patients but nevermind, what do you need to ask.

 

[CharmingCthulhu]

"So I was thinking up in my dorm when I realized, I didn't have extra changes of clothing." Sev pauses and realizes how odd this sounds, "Does 'Human' money work here, and also is there any nearby clothing stores?"

 

[Harbinger]

Mati laughs a little bit, "Sev, even though many of the students in the school are non-human, we are still on earth and human money works at any store. The answer to your second question, there is some small stores a few blocks away from the school and a mile away from here is the city that most of the people get their clothing. Hope that was helpful.

"Thanks a lot!" He waves goodbye to both of them as he exits the building but looked at Aria for a small amount of time. He then exits the school site and looks for the clothing stores they were talking about.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati notices sev staring at Aria for a few seconds "Hey Aria, I think sev is finding some fancy in you. He stared at you for a few seconds extra before he left."

Aria laughed, not entirely convinced, "A few extra seconds could mean anything...!" She thought about it though, and she did find herself blushing a little. "Well, I don't know. Do you really think it's that?"

As Sev walks toward the stores he could see in the distance, he thinks to himself, "So this is still the human world, meaning if i wanted to I could go back to where I live." As he finishes his thoughts he arrives at the clothing store. While he was in there he bought 4 Khaki pants and a few t shirts. "This would probably be enough for me to survive." He buys the clothes and starts heading back to the school.

 

[Harbinger]

"Yes, you are a beautiful lady and everybody around here knows that. Espically Sev, his face was bright red when he first saw you in the gym earlier. You should talk to him when he comes back from his shopping. Both of you would enjoy that, and if you two hit it off. Me and Leo would have someone to go out to town with."

Aria smiled, thinking, "Oh fine. I'll look into at least, but I want to get to know him a little first." A small part of her was grateful he was human because she didn't have to worry about the angels getting mad at her. Another part of her was screaming at her to stop jumping to conclusions and the boy probably didn't like her like that.

 

[Harbinger]

"That's what I want to hear from you my angel friend. Why don't you talk to him when I'm in surgery. That will give you a good 5 hours to get to know him. The first thing I want to hear after I get out is if he is into you, promise you will tell me as soon as I get out"

Aria laughed and looked at Mati, "Sometimes it takes longer than that! I don't know if I could figure out that fast!" She grinned and shook her head.
