"Nice to meet you... Aria, right?" Severo thrusts out his hand offering a handshake.

Aria waited for the potion to run it's sleeping course, and looked up at the other two guys, smiling softly, "It's nice to meet you guys. And yes I'm Aria." She shook the guy named Sev's hand, and smiled at the guy named Kahn. She looked back Mati when she woke. "And... My vacation was okay... Personally I actually wish I was here..." She frowned. "I heard some bad stuff went down..." She looked at Kahn hearing something about a cat person's involvement.

Kahn turns away, slightly embarrassed. Under his breath, he says, "Probably shouldn't have killed all of them..." After a cough, he says, "Is Mati going to be okay?"

Aria looked at Mati after Kahn's question and nodded, "She got treated in time." Sighing she looked at the other guys, "So it appears I missed a lot. Are you guys new students, or was I blind the days I was here...?" She smiled softly.

"Part of it is you being blind," he says, smiling slightly. "He just came a few hours ago, and I've been here for a few weeks."

"Yep I'm pretty new here." He chuckles slightly.

 

[Harbinger]

mati woke up again but was still a little tired "I'm still going to hunt you down kahn when I get better." Mati just listened to the conversation betwen them until she was ready to get up.

Aria grinned at Kahn, "Well, I left a few weeks ago. I left on like... The second night of school." Then she smiled at Sev, "Hm... A few hours? Yup, you're fresh meat to some people." She joked. Then she smiled happily when Mati came around then raised an eyebrow at her words, "Hm, that's interesting. Care to explain?"

I had taken sev's blade away from him and it was getting good. I saw another holy blade come flying out of the air and hit sev in the hip or someplace. The only other person that I know that uses blades is our friend Kahn.

"..It wasn't holy. And I was trying to give it to him. I like fair fights."

Aria considered this, "I see..." She frowned looking at Mati, "You were sparring with a human?"

"I don't know if I should take offense to that?" He asked wondering what's so special about humans.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati saw the look of Aria "Don't give me that look. Sev is not just any normal human, He fights better than every other human in this school. He beat a fallen angel at combat, most humans don't even know how to block an attack. I give him alot of respect for doing what he did."

Aria smiled and then quickly looked at Sev, "I don't mean that offensively, but you heard what she said. That's why I was worried. But you beat her, so, you got talent!"

Sev now suddenly gleaming with happiness, "Well, my father taught hose moves to me. He was all around the world when he was in the war and tried to learn every single fighting technique he could. Everyone one he learned he would teach me. So don't credit me credit my father. " Severo suddenly remembers that his father was Christian. "You might actually know him."

Aria smiled, "Sounds like a very skilled man. And I might know him?" She asked curiously. Not realizing he meant because she was an angel.

 

[Harbinger]

Mati moved back a little to be laying with her back further up the bed. "I see he taught you Zui Quan if I'm pronouncing it right. Of the 300 years I was on earth, I haven't seen anyone skilled enough to do it." Mati looks to the group, if you see leo later, don't tell him about what happened, as what I said the last time, he will probably get furious and go crazy like he did when that last thing happened"

"His name was Bernard, he died in a mortar bombardment. My mother also died with him, her name was Ada. Oh and my father's last name was Hummel my mother's was Santiago." He looks at the angel with pleading eyes hoping that she might have known them or even has the slightest bit of knowing them.

Aria thought for a moment, "I don't know if I know them, but if you'd like, I could send a message to the above to see if other angels know them? Hm... I wonder if they'd organize a meeting with them for you if they do..." Aria didn't want to get his hopes up, but the words slipped and, and now she really wanted to make it happen.

Severo's smile widened, "If you could do that for me, I'd be the luckiest guy in the world!" He calmed down a bit, "Would you want payment? I could give you something of mine if you'd like?"

Aria shook her head, "No! No payment needed. Honestly, it's not that hard to at least ask." She smiled reassuringly at him. As she thought more, she realized that it would be much easier to ask if she had a better reputation among the angels, but it was worth a try. Plus she was asking for them to help a human, so that'd make it easier as well.

"Thank you a ton!" He focuses back on Mati, "What is this black liquid anyway? More importantly why did it show up when I cut you?"

"Holy blades will kill anything that is unholy like me or a daemon and is the only thing that will kill them, normal weapons won't do anything.


The student came over and told mati some news "Due to the injuries you have gotten from the past two months, we have found about 32 more severe injuries. We a piece of bone being lodged into your lung and causing some bleeding and some how, you have a broken leg with fractures in 2 places." Mati had a look of absolute terror on her face when she heard the news.


"We don't know how you survived this long with that rib injury, it looks like it was over 3 days old and the leg is a new one from the morning it seems like. We are going to have you sent to the surgery room right now to be operated on before the bone moves anymore and causes your lung to collapse and cause death within 10 minutes of it happening." Tears started to run down her face as she was knocked out with a sedative so she wouldn't feel anything.

Aria's eyes widened in horror from the news. "I'm going with her!" She demanded. She couldn't believe that was even possible. How could her friends keep getting so beat up?

"The leg was my fault along with the cut, so let me come along with her, and if I can't do that at least make use of my First Aid Kit. " He hands the the student who relayed the news his mother's First Aid Kit.
