Frisk hears Chara come down the stairs and their head turns.
"Good morning Chara. Asriel!"


They lean in and listen to what Chara has to say and whisper back at her.


"What? No. We're just friends Chara... jeez."

"Oh. This is Chara and Asriel. They live here, along with all of my other monster friends and family."
They exclaimed.


"Asriel... We're not! We're really not..." Frisk starts to glare at him. As their own way to ask him to stop.

Asriel 'aww'ed' in dissapointment. "And I thought- Okay, I'm sor-" then he paused, and his expression changed. It was still Asriel's face, but it was a challenging one. Asriel turned around to Chara. "Wait..." and gave her a suspicious look. "Speaking of dating. You need to hook up with someone, Chara. It'll do you lots of good. What do you two think?" he asked, looking over at Frisk and Robert again, he gave them a wink so that they confirm what he said.

Robert chuckled. "Yeah Chara, that would do some good." he said, holding in a giggle.

"What? Ew, no! Besides, I don't even like humanity! I'm a murderer, remember?" Chara thought it was an awful idea. The type of love she preferred was her level of violence. She didn't love many things anymore. "You have really weird thoughts." She told both of them.

"Murderer? What do you mean murderer?" Robert asked.

Chara forgot that he wouldn't know. "I um....didn't say that! What do you mean? I'm not some crazed killer!" She nervously laughed. "I can assure you that I didn't kill one thing in my entire life!" Chara lied. 'Please work...' She thought to herself.

"Um... what's happening? I'm confused." Robert said, with a headache.

Chara pulled her brother away from her. "Please, no hugs..." She heard Robert but she definitely couldn't tell him the truth. "If I told you, you wouldn't understand...it's complicated. Besides, not telling you is for the greater good!" She was honest there, and didn't want to speak of it anymore.

"Okay, better question. Do we want to be late for school? Because it starts in 15 minutes." Robert said.

Asriel thought: Good, it's working. and took a deep breath. He saw Chara's response and asked her "Why are you being so cold? Also, love can't be complicated. Tell us who you like, or I'll.... I'll.... uhm... I won't give you any chocolate for birthday!" he threatened her.... 'threatened'... Asriel, and Flowey would both want to know. "Please, we all want to know. Who does the mighty Chara fancy!?" he asked her again, then heard Robert's words. "What? How? We didn't even eat breakfast yet!"

Chara sighed. "Well, I like..." Upon hearing Robert, she knew that she may not have to answer. "You're right, we should get going!" Chara got all the stuff she needed and put the knife in her pocket on the counter. "Shall we go now?"

Asriel said "No-no-no-no-no!" and looked over at Chara "We're not going anywhere until you tell us who you like. Please, I want to know so badly! I can't imagine what sort of person YOU would like, so this is really interesting to me!" he pleaded with her furhtermore, biting his lip in excitement and... excitement. Asriel was anxious to know. Flowey was only a bit curious of it, but still curious enough to make Asriel act like this, which wasn't out of character, and served it's purpose very well.

Chara hesitated but decided to answer. "Well, You know I love you as a brother, Asriel. But that's really it..." She said. "I don't love anyone where I'd date them..." Chara answered. "There. I answered your question. No more talking 'bout this, okay?" Chara regretted ever asking if Robert and Frisk were dating now.

Asriel frowned "So you don't like anyone after all? Then I don't know what you were afraid of... Wait, you're lying. I'll find out the truth one day." he said, in a challenging tone. He looked outside of the house and said "Yeah, let's go to school now." agreeing with the rest.

Frisk was standing there beside Robert and Chara holding Asriel. They stand there listening to the conversation, nodding along as the whole whole group chatted. When they heard Flowey ask Chara who exactly does she have a liking for. Frisk could't help but giggle at it. To them they thought it was funny. They stop quickly to avoid any trouble that they might get into from Chara getting angered by Frisk's action.


"I wonder who too!"


When they hear Chara almost answering, they started laughing. then slaps a hand over their mouth to cover it up.


Finally calmed down and no longer laughing, they nod at Robert.


"Yes, I agree. We wouldn't want to be late on our first day..."

"Yeah, don't wanna have a bad reputation with the teachers. Now! Let's get going!" Robert starts walking. "Come on guys!"

Asriel kept quiet, and simply waited for Chara whom was holding him, to follow Frisk and Robert. He looked at them and asked "What do you think the year will be like?" in a melancholic lack of interest. Asriel was feeling dull, because all the talking about Chara's crush reminded Flowey about how he can't feel love anymore. It was a drag to live, well, at least he could do something with the others.
