She said. Chara felt worse now. "I'm sorry, Azzy...I feel terrible...it's all my f-fault...I wish I hadn't killed myself...then you would've been yourself. I'm so, so sorry...." Chara started to cry a bit.

Asriel responded with simple words "Oh, okay." and then heard her explantation. "It's okay. I... don't know how to feel about this. I don't feel much, I just can't... but I'll be myself. I'll do it for you." he said, it was obviously a lie, but Asriel was just trying to comfort Chara. "Please, don't cry. If you're sad about this, then what was the point, right?" he asked her, a bit sadly. "After all, we did do it. We freed everyone, Chara." he tried comforting his sister, but it was all a lie. Flowey was happy that his plan succeeded.

Chara looked at her brother and stopped crying. She smiled while wiping her tears away. "Well, I guess you're right. After all, most of us are happy here on the surface...Thank you, Asriel." She felt a bit better now. Chara fell asleep soon after.

Asriel nodded and said "Good-night." as she went to sleep, after he made sure that his sister was asleep, he quietly hopped over to the other end of the room, wanting to leave, on his way out, he saw the mirror, and looked into it. He saw a messagebox...

He didn't respond, but Flowey thought Heh, what a joke. but then turned around, and went back towards where he was. Maybe... I'll just try? and closed his eyes, he couldn't sleep as he was a flower, but he didn't care. Flowey didn't want his cover blown right now.

The next day, 6AM...

Flowey opened up his eyes and looked at the clock, that was about to- And it rung. He turned it off with a vine and waited for Chara to open her eyes and get up. "Chaaara~! Get up! It's morning, you sleepyhead!" he said, and then giggled in a friendly way. But inside, he felt nothing.

Robert opened his eyes. "Ugh, morning breath." he said. He fell out of bed and rolled to the kitchen. He ate some Captain Crunch and got dressed. "Ah, another day with monsters. I can't get over how cool that is." he exclaimed. "I'll go see if Frisk is home."

Chara woke up quickly. "Hm? Oh...yeah, It's a school day! I so don't want to go..." Chara said. She got ready for the day, but was the opposite of happy. She never was fond of school, and even now she would do anything to get out of it. But she knew she had to so she wouldn't even argue.

Frisk's eyes open. They let out a long big yawn, wiping the sleepiness out of their eyes. Frisk sits up in their bed, throwing the blankets off of themselves. And lets their legs hover over the ground, before jumping right off the bed and walks out of the room. heading for the kitchen,


Ready to have breakfast.

Asriel frowned and said "Chara, don't be like this, get up!" with an annoyed voice. Flowey jumped onto the bed, helping himself climb it using a few vines and said "Check out my magic! I can do all sorts of stuff with plants! Come on, get up now." he kept encouraging his sister, trying to wake her up, so she could go to school.

Chara smiled slightly and got up. "There, happy, Asriel?" She thought for a moment. "Hey, do you think if I bring some of my knives I'll get caught? I mean, I have to protect us somehow..." She asked with a sly smirk.

Frisk hears someone at the door.


"Hm? I wonder who that is"


They leave the kitchen and open the door. Revealing to be a human boy, Robert


"Oh. Hello! And good morning!"


Frisk opens the door some more to let him in.

Robert sighed. "Hmm, weird. Are they not there? They're probably still asleep." Robert waited at the door.

"Oh! There you are Frisk! I was about to leave. What's up?" Robert exclaimed.

Asriel smiled at her and giggled in a friendly way, then heard her excuse for bringing knives to school. "Chara, no. Don't bring knives to school. Nobody is threatning us. Besides, there will be teachers there, right?" he asked her, giving off a friendly smile. Flowey was hating being lovey-dovey, but he had to keep it up for now.

"Aw, well, I suppose you have a point. Come on, let's go downstairs." Chara grabbed her brother and ran downstairs, seeing Frisk by the open door. "Frisk! You're not supposed to open the door by yourself!" When she saw a boy there, she smiled. "Are you guys...like...dating?" She whispered to Frisk.

"Oh, Nothing much. Well except the fact that it's the first day of school!"


Frisk looked excited for today. They never really properly went to school like everyone else before they fell in Mtt.Ebot. Instead there was just a teacher that would come for the day then leave. Which did help Frisk learn, but it seemed fun to be in a classroom in Frisk's young mind.


"And what about you? are you excited? Oh, and anything new for you?"

Flowey looked at his sister's behaviour and gasped, clearly being dissapointed. "Chara! That's hardly good behaviour!" and then looked at Frisk and Robert, saying "But really, are you two dating?" quickly, and curiously. He looked at them with wide open eyes. Flowey couldn't help but snicker inside of his head, at how easily he convinced everyone that he was Asriel again, just in the form of a flower.

Frisk hears Chara come down the stairs and their head turns.


"Good morning Chara. Asriel!"


They lean in and listen to what Chara has to say and whisper back at her.


"What? No. We're just friends Chara... jeez."

"Oh. This is Chara and Asriel. They live here, along with all of my other monster friends and family."


They exclaimed.


"Asriel... We're not! We're really not..." Frisk starts to glare at him. As their own way to ask him to stop.

Chara giggles. She felt a little bad for asking. "Okay, okay, we'll stop. Sorry, Frisk." Chara was already ready to go, so she waited with the other two kids and her brother. Though she didn't really like talking to people, unless she's threatening them, Chara wouldn't mind listening to their conversation.
