[Panic at the Fandoms]

Chara smiled and picked her brother up. She hugged him happily. "Where do you wanna go, Azzy?" She called him by the nickname she gave him when they were younger. Chara couldn't think of an explaination of why he couldn't remember, but she didn't want to be upset again.

Frisk walks out, trying to see where Flowey or Chara might have been. They walk faster and faster, ending up running to find them. They were scared. What if something has happened? What if they get hurt!


Frisk keeps running, ignoring the pain in their legs. Soon, they finally made it. They saw Chara and Flowey. Except it seemed that something was happening. Flowey's seemed different. He was... Oh no. Flowey forgot he was a flower. But how did this happen? Frisk decided to ignore that and slowly approach the scene. Not sure if to say any thing just yet. They decided to speak out anyways.


"Chara? Flowey?..."

Asriel tilted his head and gave her a weird, discontent frown. He looked at her like this for a few seconds, then tilted his head to the other side, observing Chara's every move. "Hmm... Okay..." he muttered out to himself, returning to his normal expression. He listened to her question and said "It's really late. I feel like we should go to sleep... We can tell mom and dad tomorrow, right?" however Flowey was just playing around. Flowey was well-aware that flowers can't sleep, but when he was first Asriel, he didn't know that. Again: He was just re-acting what he did when he first became a flower. He heard Frisk then responded by giving them a weird, unsure look. "Howdy?..." he looked at Chara and asked "Flowey? Why did he call me that? I mean, I AM a flower, but... Do I know this person? Chara?"

Chara sighed. "Um...yeah...that's Frisk....Frisk, Asriel can't remember anything. Azzy, Frisk fell into the underground as well. You do know them, but you can't remember." Chara said. "But you're right, it is late. C'mon Frisk, we should head inside." Chara then whispered to Frisk "I'll try to explain later..."

Frisk eyes widen. Flowey forgot about them as well? That's pretty weird. Frisk waves their hand.


"Uh... You do. Flowey was a name you had... K-Kinda..."


They start to look concerned.


They nod at Chara.


"Okay.. And yeah. We should go back home... It's late and we have school tomorrow."

 

[Vagabond Spectre]

Eden looked at her HUD from her red glowing to check the time "Oh Snap! it's late! i Better head home now ill buy the oil tomorrow after school." Eden turned around and went back to her small metal hut that she built all by her self.

Asriel looked at Chara again, then asked "I can't r-remember?" with a confused voice. "How long was I a flower, Chara!?" he asked her worriedly, and took a few breathes, trying to prepare for her answer. But Flowey didn't feel anything. Asriel then looked at Frisk and said "And I'm Asriel! Call me Asriel!" with a voice of distress, not wanting to be stuck to a stupid name like Flowey. Whoever thought it up was bad at naming.

Frisk looks surprised. Then their face was full of guilt. They shouldn't have called him that. Of course not. They get closer to him and look at him in the eye.


"Asriel? I'm sorry... I won't call you that name anymore. I promise."


Frisk tries to give him a small smile. To make him feel better.

Chara thought for a second. "You have been like this for quite a while now...like ever since we both died? I don't know...its been a long time..." When Frisk talked to him, she hoped it'd make him feel better. But When she realized her brother was getting worried, she did what she used to do. "Asriel, calm down! Don't be such a crybaby!"

Asriel looked a bit surprised at first, but then gave off a firm, friendly smile. It wasn't Flowey's usual grin that revealed teeth, it was just a meek expression of happiness and dopamine. "Okay." he nodded to Frisk's words, comforted by the promise. Asriel looked around and asked "Wait, are we on the s- Oh, my god! Chara, we did it! We're on the surface!" with happinness in his words, all while giving his sister a friendly smile.


He looked at Chara and heard her words, frowning a bit on the 'long time' part. He heard her calling him a crybaby and reacted a bit aggressively, more aggressively than the usual answer, but he still had Asriel's voice and face. "Oh, I'm sorry. Look who's talking! Not only a few minutes ago you were crying with me! Gosh!" he exclaimed annoyedly, and then stopped, realizing what he said. Asriel's face was shocked, as if someone was speaking for him. "Oh my! I'm sorry, Chara! I'm so sorry! I didn't really mean it! I- I- I just... did it, somehow. I'm sorry!" he kept apologizing to his sister.

B-but it's getting really late. We need to go inside." Chara walked inside with Asriel in her hands. "So, yeah, we did make it to the surface...yay..." She wasn't happy about it so she didn't sound too enthused.

Asriel simply smiled, a bit sadly in response to Chara's acceptance. Flowey was having a hard time trying not to laugh, or giggle on how great his plan was going. Asriel nodded and said "Okay. Let's go." he said, then looked around the house's insides. He saw a broken window. "Woah. When did that happen?" he asked, looking at Frisk and Chara in confusion.

"That was my fault, too. I wouldn't have admitted that then, but now it's fine. I really shouldn't have threatened to-" She quickly paused. "Nevermind that, okay? It's not your fault, it's mine. I'll take he blame. Just know that." She would never have said that she was the cause of it before, but now, she felt it was fine to do so.

Frisk walks inside behind Chara and Asriel.


They close the door behind them and continues on inside.


"That? Oh... Uh... Someone broke it."


They didn't know how he would react to the fact that he was the one who in fact broke the window.


"Uh... We should get some sleep. Don't you guys think so?"


Frisk tries to change the subject. So that Asriel would maybe stop asking. Not that they knew he was going to or not going to.


They walk a bit closer to the stairs and looks back at the two.

Asriel listened to Chara and smiled "O-Okay then. I'm not sure what happened, but I take it that I broke it on accident... I don't know how that's possible. But thank you for helping me." he said to Chara, with a happy and thankful expression. Asriel looked at Frisk and said "I agree. We need to sleep right now." with a decisive tone.

Chara nodded tiredly. It's been a really long night. "Asriel, you can sleep in my room." She walked to her room and put her brother on the floor in a new pot. Chara climbed onto her bed, but did not sleep, as she did not want to.

Asriel looked at Frisk as Chara walked into her room and said "Good-night, Frisk!" looking at them. Asriel remained in the pot, and started hopping closer to Chara's bed, to sleep beside her. After a few minutes he exclaimed "Chara. I can't sleep." with a sad tone, sighing afterwards. "I mean literally. I just... can't sleep. I think it's impossible, because I'm a Flower. But you should sleep, okay? You should get rest, you're not looking the best- I- uh, mean: Not that you're not looking nice, or anything! You're just not looking too... well... happy? N-no, satisfied? Y-You know what I mean!" he said, trying to sound as nice and polite as he could, giving a clear sign of that.

 

[Panic at the Fandoms]

Chara looked over at him and giggled softly. "I know exactly what you mean...thank you for your concern but I can't sleep either. I don't ever. I'm too busy for it. I'm always...thinking about stuff. But forget that. Soon, it'll be morning. Then we'll all go to school...my favorite..." She rolled her eyes as she finished.

Frisk waves at him, letting out a yawn.


"Goodnight Asriel. You too Chara"


They start to sleepily walk to their room. They close their door behind themselves and throw themself onto the bed. They were tired and ready to sleep. They don't fall just yet. They lie there for a bit. Thinking.

Asriel didn't respond, he didn't... or wouldn't argue with his sister. After about a minute of dead silence, he gulped and took a deep breath, then turned to Chara. "Chara, can I ask you a question? It's rather..." he spoke, then paused. Asriel sounded a bit worried, he didn't finish the sentence at first, but several seconds later he sighed and said "Well... I don't know what to call it, but you might not like it." with an unsure voice.

Chara nodded. "Yeah, sure. Go ahead..." She didn't know what he meant by that, but he was her brother and best friend, so she would answer to it. "I-I don't mind. After all, we always used to tell each other everything." She smiled at the memory.

Asriel looked at Chara with an unsatisfied half-frown, then said "Do you still love me?" as he could not feel love himself, he was very confused, and felt incredibly lonely. Flowey knew that this was the breaking point, as he explained this earlier to Chara, he was hoping she'd remember that as a Flower, he can't feel love.
