ben jumped up suddenly


"what th- gah my chest..." he looked down


"what happened!!!"

"Oh thank goodness you're awake!" Candace smiled, wiping away sweat from her forehead "That raccoon really tore at you. You blacked out from all the... blood." She gulped and thought of the image of the raccoon. "You're gonna need some rest. Want me to help you to your tent?" She asked, almost blushing a little.

 

[Kousei Arima]

ben's phone started to ring so he picked up. "hello?" it was ben's boyfriend, jeremiah, jeremiah: "hey ben where are you i haven't seen you in a couple of days." ben: "i am out camping, come if you wanna. But be careful of the animals!" ben winced in pain then told jeremiah teh location

 

[Kousei Arima]

"sure, thanks candace" ben smiled nicely at her.

"Be careful okay?" Candace helped Ben up. As they began to walk, Candace heard another noise and perked her head up, "I don't think we should go out there at night- ever again..." Candace shivered.

"its starting to get night and my tent is on the other side of the lake... do you just wanna stay here? and i will go on my own. or do you wanna stay at my tent?" ben blushed at the thought of a girl staying in his tent

Well, things were not going as planned for Leo at all. With more and more campers being attacked, the whole state of affairs here could collapse at any second. Wait a minute... that could actually be a good thing. Yes, Leo had a gun, and these people needed protection, other than that Leon guy, who seem proficient enough. That Candace woman and Ben, on the other hand, could obviously use some help, which he was more than happy to give... for a favor, to be exchanged at a future time. Of course, he would act like he was doing it out of the kindness of his heart. Naive cheerful people usually believed that bulls***

ben sat on a tree stump awaiting a reply from candace. He thought to himself that candace was kinda cute and somewhat hoped deep in his brain that she would stay at his tent.

"My tent's a bit small," Candace's cheeks were hot, and her face was turning red, "I- I could stay at your tent... You know... just in case any other creatures come..." Candace laughed awkwardly.

 

[Sametheon]

Leo could see the whole conversation unfold. He face palmed.(that is all)

 

[Kousei Arima]

ben tried not to blush and smile but failed horribly and was smiling while blushing. "well lets go then..." ben walked across the land.

 

[Sametheon]

Leo waited for them to leave before he started laughing. God, that was embarrassing for the both of them. Then again, he supposed they ended up sleeping together while he ate some stale pop tarts alone in a cold tent. He sighed and headed back to the woods with his rifle to find another morsel for dinner.

Candace picked up her sleeping bag and inflatable mattress and walked with Ben, "Got my hunting knife," she held it um to the moonlight and grinned, "Hopefully no more raccoons attack- or I'll cut their eyes out!" She joked

ben giggled softly at her joke. when they got there he found his spare sleeping bag chewed up by a squirrel. ben did not know what to do. he waited for candace to do something.

Leon walked into camp with his bear-pelt coat around him. He was carrying a tiny bit of bear meat for the next day, and he brought the head back as a trophy. Leon was proud that he had killed a bear without striking it or shooting it, so why not? Leon put the bear's head at the front of his tent, to get the message across that he could take care of himself. Leon brought some flints with him on the trip, so he struck them together.


No good.


"Damn it!" Leon cursed. He struck them again.


No good.


On his third time, he got some sparks.


Fourth time: He got a fire going. He sat on the outside of his tent with his bear coat by the fire, waiting til' he got tired.

"Why don't you get some sleep." Candace said, "I'm gonna stay up and look out." She sat down on her inflated mattress. "It's weird out here, you never know what could happen." Candace tried to sound tough, in a weird sort of way. She knew she wouldn't get much sleep after the traumatizing events. Man this sure isn't what I thought camping would be like... She thought, playing with the knife

 

[Sametheon]

The woods were silent as ever as Leo creeped through the undergrowth. No more disasters like the fiasco with the two headed deer. He was prepared this time, for anything. However, he quickly found out that that might have been an over generalization, as what filled his vision next was a girl, standing in the moonlight, looking around. Oh yeah, and she had 4 eyes, a nasty radiation burn all alongside her front, and an old summer camp uniform with the words Smiletime Summer Adventures, and an almost obnoxiously cheery smile on a badge attached to the front.

 

[Sametheon]

Each of the "girls" four eyes moved independently of one another as she foraged the bushes for any prey, like squirrels and raccoons. She ended up checking the bush right next to him. He panicked, and fired at her. The bullet slammed into her chest, spilling blood all over her ironic uniform. S***, S***, S***!!! Now what?! He decided that there was only one thing he could do. Warn the other campers. He began to drag it back to the campsite.

Candace saw a shadow from outside the tent. She perked her head up- luckily she had been awake guarding the tent. Who knows what it could be this time! She quietly unzipped the tent, and peeked outside. She saw Leo dragging a body. What the hell? She stepped outside the tent to get a closer look. Confused, Candace took a few steps towards him.

 

[Sametheon]

Leo heard somebody behind him. He stopped, and slowly turning around, once again faking a southern accent.


"Howdy there neighbor. Anything I can do for ya?"


He stepped to the side to cover up the body from her view.

 

[Kousei Arima]

ben woke up


"what the-" he came outside and put his arm around candace thinking she was jeremiah because he was really tired


he tried to kiss her.

"Whoa, Ben, leave it for inside the tent. I'm not into watching as much as doing."


Leo was happy the subject had been changed from the dead body he was dragging with him.

Candace leaned away from Ben's kiss and decided to bring up the elephant in the room, or should I say, the dead mutant camper.


Noticing the obvious dead body, Candace looked Leo in the eye, "So, who's your friend?" She asked in a sarcastic- almost bitter tone.

Leon was startled by talking. He looked over and saw something strange, very strange. 'John' was carrying a body! Leon walked over to the clearing where everyone was.


"So, John, what's going on here?"
